Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora made it to the front door and was careful not to show any signs of pain with his body of facial expression. If Kairi saw he was in pain, he would have to explain what happened, and he didn't want that. He exhaled a soft breath and opened the front door quietly before he slipped out, shutting the door behind him and seeing Kairi on his porch.
Kairi turned around a little in her seat, her eyes instantly finding Sora. She smiled weakly at him, seeing now that he appeared exhausted...but at least he was dry now. And comfortable. That was good. "Hey."

"Hey," Sora said softly, taking a few steps forward and carefully sitting himself down next to Kairi on the step. Fortunately for him, he didn't wince in pain at the movement and he was able to keep up the charade for a few moments.
Kairi's smile faded as she looked at the boy she loved. His hair looks a little damp still, but she would let Sora think that she believed he just showered, instead of what really happened. "How're you doing?" she asked softly, figuring that Sora would think she was referring to the incident at the carnival. This was the first time they talked since that happened...

Sora blinked, looking down at the teddy bear in Kairi's lap and figuring that she must have been referring to what happened at the carnival. "I'm alright," he assured her softly. One punch to the face really wasn't a big deal, but the ones that he received after that were.
"Oh," Kairi said softly, turning her head to look down at her prize again. She knew he was lying...but Sora didn't know that. She would just play along. There wasn't much else she could do.

Sora looked down at the stuffed animal in Kairi's lap, knowing he had to apologize. "Sorry...if I embarrassed you back there," he said softly. He shouldn't have lashed out in a public place, even if Chris really was ticking him off.
Kairi felt herself get confused, her gaze lingering on her bear. "How would you embarrass me?" she asked quietly. Sora couldn't really think that's what she was so distressed over, could he?

"I started the fight," Sora said softly, keeping his eyes on the teddy bear. "I lost my temper..." Chris was just extremely annoying, and Sora had been determined to throw the first punch after the incident so many years ago.
Kairi turned her eyes to the boy she loved. "Sora, it's okay. It's Chris, after all," she said softly. Chris would do something stupid to make Sora lose his temper, though she was curious as to what he had said. Sora wasn't really that easy to anger...

Sora hummed softly, glad to hear that Kairi understood what was happening. Chris was a big bully, and if Kairi knew that he came looking for Sora after the carnival...Well, she couldn't know that.
Kairi let her gaze linger on Sora for a moment, her eyes then finding the path in front of his house. The crickets were chirping now, filling the silence between them. She wasn't sure what to say. She was just so worried...

Sora shifted his gaze to the ground when he felt a breeze come, and he was cool even in his layers. But that was also probably because he was wet. Still, he hoped Kairi wasn't cold...If that was the case, he would give up his sweatshirt for her.
Kairi didn't know what to say. What could she, without giving herself away? She was scared for Sora at the carnival, but she was horrified at the beach... But she couldn't say anything, which was awful.

Sora looked down at the ground, the air feeling heavy between him and Kairi. But he was really tired and aching and he didn't want to talk right now. But since Kairi wanted to be with him, he would sit with her for a little while.
"...I was scared," Kairi whispered after a second, closing her eyes as she kept her head lowered. The wind blew at her red hair, making it go into her face, but she didn't care. She just wanted to get all of her feelings off her chest.

Sora lifted his head, looking over at Kairi when she spoke. She was scared...He didn't want her to ever feel that way, and he definitely didn't want to cause it.
Kairi felt Sora's gaze on her, but she wasn't sure what he wanted to hear. So she just went with what she felt she should say. "You know I don't like conflict," she continued softly. "And Chris is the center of it lately. It's awful."

"...Sorry," Sora said weakly. "I wish he wasn't such a pain." Literally, he thought, looking down at his hands in his lap. They were curled slightly in fists.
"Me too..." Kairi whispered quietly, opening her eyes as she looked down at the ground. She heard of what he did to Namine a few days back, and now he was hurting Sora. It was terrible, and she didn't like it one bit.

Sora looked down at his lap, not knowing what to say. Chris was just a jerk, and there was nothing anybody could do to change that.
Kairi couldn't come up with anything to say, her thoughts going to what she saw at the beach. Sora had been beaten up very roughly, and she pressed her lips together at the memory. She couldn't believe that Riku didn't get up and help...

Sora heard silence surround him and Kairi again, and it felt heavy even if there was nothing wrong between. He exhaled a soft breath, his shoulders falling a little bit when he realized how tense he was because of his injuries.
"Are...you sure you're alright?" Kairi asked at the sigh, her voice soft in the night. Sora told her he was fine, but after what she just saw... He was most likely lying.
  • Author
"Yeah, I'm alright," Sora lied softly, looking down at the ground. He was really sore and feeling defeated because of how easily he was beaten up, but he wasn't about to let Kairi know that.
