Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning's heart was on fire. She suddenly appeared next to both Riku and Rachel, grasping the latter's hand and yanking it away from Riku's chest. "Right now, I don't care how he feels about me," she steamed menacingly. "He may not care about me, but I care about him. While I'm around, no girl is going to take advantage of him having too much to drink." So get away. She said she'd do "whatever" to protect Riku and she meant it.

Rachel looked at the hand gripping hers and she yanked it away, holding it because the pink-haired witch squeezed it too tightly. "Are you just going to let her talk to me like that?" she asked, looking up at Riku. He looked confused, dazed, which wasn't the guy she just kissed a second ago. When he didn't say anything, and instead just looked away, she rolled her eyes. "Unbelievable. You kiss me and then let this jarhead insult me?" Riku simply stared at her, gripping a chair nearby. Well, on the table connected to that chair, there was a half-full jug of beer. Rachel grabbed it and threw the liquid in Riku's face. "Jerk."

Lightning couldn't protect Riku from the liquid thrown in his face, but what she did next was instinct. She stepped between Riku and Rachel and shoved the girl away, pressing on both of her shoulders to knock her backwards. This just turned physical in that moment, but she hoped not to take it any further. Snow would probably step in before it could get to that point since he was always so determined to help people.

As soon as the drink got thrown in Riku's face, Snow was on his feet. But when Lightning pushed Rachel, he knew it was time they got out of the bar. "Okay, that's enough!" he cried over the loud noises of the bar, stepping forward and blocking Rachel's advance toward Lightning. "You're done here. Get back to your friends." This wasn't continuing.

Rachel glared at the taller man, not even remembering his name. But she did as he said and turned, walking away with a flip of her hair over her shoulder. Whatever, this was so stupid.

Lightning was thankful for Snow's intervention. Sometimes a big man was enough to dissolve a situation, like it was now. She turned around and looked at Riku, his face drenched in alcohol. "Um..." She looked around without seeing any napkins or anything on a nearby table. There was nothing... "Here, hold on..." She began to take off her sweatshirt, revealing the tank-top underneath and hearing some men whistle at the muscles they now could see. "Here." She held it out, though she then took one of Riku's hands and made him grab the sweatshirt. He could use it to wipe himself off; she didn't care.

Riku turned his head to glare at the group of men that whistled at Lightning's more-revealed body, not even knowing he was doing it until he had to face Lightning when he felt her sweatshirt in his grasp. He peeked past the beer dripping from his lashes and looked down at the sweater. He simply lifted his arm and wiped the alcohol away with the sleeve of his grey long-sleeved shirt. Riku held the sweatshirt out to Lightning, eyes darting from her to the crowd. "Put it back on," he demanded. He wouldn't have people staring at her, even if he was drunk.

Lightning was startled by the command, but she obeyed. She put the sweatshirt back on over her head, or at least, she started to. It was suddenly yanked out of her grasp when a drunken young man thought it'd be smart to steal it. She didn't have the words to speak, her eyes following the young man who ran to the table of men gawking at her.

"She looks much better like this, don't you agree?" he said, getting roars of agreement from the men around him. He noticed earlier that Lightning was a looker, but he never would have guessed she had such a body hiding underneath the over-sized sweatshirt.

Riku looked back over at the men, and while he was drunk, he was at least sober enough to realize the direction this was going. Snow glared at the group while Riku decided that he would be the one to offer his clothes this time. He stripped off his shirt, pulling it over his head before offering it to Lightning. He was barechested, but he didn't care. Lightning needed to be covered up. Riku didn't even want to think of the men trying to steal her tank top next.

Lightning blinked in surprise at the offer, though she couldn't accept Riku's shirt. "No, Riku, I'm fine," she insisted. "Put it back on." Her tank-top was modest enough for her not to be concerned. "We'll just leave." She didn't need the sweatshirt back. What she needed was for all the girls to stop staring at Riku.

Riku pulled at the neck of his shirt and slipped it over Lightning's head without another word, tugging it down as he stood right in front of her. "I won't have them staring at you," he said, words still slurring. He may have been drunk, but he wasn't that drunk.

The stench of alcohol on Riku's shirt overwhelmed Lightning, but she wasn't going to say anything. She slipped her arms through the sleeves and set a hand on Riku's back. "Let's go," she said, pleading like she had earlier. It wasn't for her own sake that she wanted to leave; she wanted all the desperate girls of the bar to stop staring at Riku. She knew that Riku and Snow wanted her to leave for another reason, but she was more concerned with Riku than herself.

Riku nodded, Lightning's hand cold against his hot back. He started out, making sure that Lightning and Snow were close. On the way, he looked over his shoulder at the tallest of the three. "Snow, grab the--" He stopped, swallowing hard. "--grab her shirt." He caught Snow nod before he faced forward, seeing a few lingering eyes. There was a whistle, some cat calls.

"Hey sexy!" one lady called.

"Break me off a piece of that."

"Look at that chest," another girl insisted. "And so young too."

Lightning stepped behind Riku, pressing both of her hands against his back to spur him forward more quickly. She knew that he was drunk and probably off balance but she wanted him out of that place immediately. She only stepped past him to open the door before she returned to her previous spot behind him. Upon stepping outside, she realized that it was snowing

Riku stumbled slightly with Lightning's pushing, and once he got outside, he found himself catching his breath. It was so cold. But what was worse than that, was that he felt his stomach turning. He groaned, nearly tripping over his feet as he fell into a palm tree just outside. A palm tree not yet covered in snow.

Lightning didn't bother waiting for Snow. She walked over to Riku and the tree and grasped the bottom of the shirt. "You can have this back," she said, beginning to take it off. Snow was hopefully returning with her own sweatshirt, and even if he wasn't, she had on more clothes than Riku. She would be fine in just a tank-top.

Riku leaned one hand against the tree, using the other to wave Lightning off. He gasped for breath before he got chills, then losing the alcohol that had been in his system. Talk about embarrassing, but he hoped he didn't remember it. Then he wouldn't know if anybody judged him.

Lightning watched Riku throw up, and she wasn't surprised. She had never been intoxicated before but she knew how it affected people; she arrested plenty of drunks when she was still in the GC. Though she was still hurting from everything that happened, she pulled the shirt over her head and stepped over to Riku, setting a hand on his back as she shushed him gently.

Once Riku was done, he spit a few times to get rid of the taste. Wherever Snow was, he wished he'd bring a water. Riku cursed, disgusted and shaky and unsteady. Would he remember this in the morning? Hopefully not. It was awful, but even in his drunken stupor, he felt Light's presence, which helped significantly.

Light coaxed Riku back into his shirt as Snow exited the building. Unfortunately he didn't have her sweatshirt in hand, which meant that he couldn't do anything without getting violent. She nodded to assure him that it was alright. It wasn't okay, but it had to be for now. "Riku, we're going home now," she said softly, draping one of his arms over her shoulders. She'd support him all the way, and borrow some of his body heat too.

Riku nodded slightly, walking with Lightning and putting more of his weight into her than he meant to. "This wasn't fun, Snow," he grumbled, hearing the older man laugh softly. He wasn't sure why, but right now, he was miserable. If he was happy before, he couldn't remember.

"You had fun, you just don't remember," Snow assured Riku, clapping him on the shoulder as he walked beside him. He wouldn't remember anything, but Snow took a few videos. They were quite amusing, even if the last hour of the night wasn't.

Lightning wasn't in the mood for Snow. And she meant the person, not the weather. The snow falling from the sky was a good way to cool down her temper. "Snow," Light said, keeping Riku walking along just fine even with the extra weight. "Go home." Serah was probably wondering where he was by now.

Snow nodded, his smile fading into one of care. He put a hand on Riku's shoulder again, giving it a small squeeze. "I'll see you tomorrow, bud," he said, earning a small nod in return before he turned around the corner, heading on home. Riku was going to have a rough night.

Lightning dragged Riku to her home and helped him into her own bed. He still reeked of alcohol and was likely to puke more throughout the night, but she wasn't going to put him in the guest bed. At the end of the bed, she began to take off his sneakers without a word. She wouldn't wrestle with any more of his clothes, but she could at least take off his shoes and tuck him in easy enough.

Riku was still sensitive, at least emotionally. Those stupid thugs that took Lightning's sweater. It made him want to puke just thinking of the scenarios in their heads when they saw her. He groaned softly, not minding Lightning's assistance. He would just lay here; he couldn't really move.

Light threw the shoes onto the ground before she moved up to Riku. "Stay on your side," she ordered gently, rolling him onto the side facing her. If he vomited in his sleep, he wouldn't choke on it this way. As she spoke to him more, she began to pull up the blankets. "Stay in bed if you can. I'm going to go get a bucket, some water, and some medicine." The medicine would at least settle his stomach a bit.
