A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"No," Sora said softly, shaking his head faintly. Riku had gone as far as to turn to the Darkness to try and save Kairi, but that had backfired drastically. He remembered how he felt during that time, being enemies with his best friend. It was awful.

"You see? There are a lot of differences between you two, and that's why I love you each separately. Riku's more like my big brother, and I love him like family. But I love you with all my heart, Sora." Kairi wouldn't lie about something like that. That would be foolish.

Sora nodded slightly, understanding what Kairi was saying. He and Riku were really different, and sometimes in good ways, but obviously Sora was still going to look up to him.

"...Does that answer your question?" Kairi asked after a minute, recalling that Sora asked her why she loved him. She was surprised he even had to question it, but she gave him her best answer for right now, one that had to deal with Riku.

"Mm," Sora hummed, nodding slightly. Kairi loved him despite his weaknesses and flaws, because of his heart. And he loved her the same way.

Kairi's smile grew a little, the girl running her hand over Sora's shoulder. She was happy he understood now. That was what she wanted, after all.

"...Thanks," Sora said softly, feeling Kairi's hand run over his shoulder. He was glad he didn't have to tell her to stop that motion, since that area wasn't too sore. It actually felt good, even if she wasn't trying to help his aching muscles.

Kairi hummed slightly in response, and she knew that Sora understood that. Of course. She would always be there for him; she would never make the mistake of separating herself from him again.

Sora shut his eyes, wishing that he wasn't in so much pain right now. He almost wanted to tell Kairi what happened on the beach, but he didn't want to frighten her. But...What if this happened again? Chris surely wasn't going to let him live this down...

Kairi continued to rub Sora's shoulder in silence, her eyes on what she could see of his face. She wished the best for him, because he deserved it after all the good he had done in the past. He was an incredible person, and she wished he could see that.

...If Sora ran into Chris again, he would just have to fight him off. Even if he lost, and even if Chris brought his posse again. That was the only choice that he had, even if it did cause him a lot of hurt this time.

Kairi let her motion stop after a minute, and she took her hand back. "Do you want me to leave so you can get some rest?" she asked quietly. Sora looked tired, and she assumed he was asleep before she came over. And after his night, she just wanted him to be comfortable.

Sora looked over at Kairi, his eyes opening as he found her eyes. "I never want you to leave," he said with a weak smile. "But I do need to get some rest..." He was very tired after everything, after all.

Kairi smiled softly at Sora's words, but she nodded. "You should go inside then," she insisted. She didn't live far from here, but she would have to be careful not to get caught by the mayor... It was late.

"I should," Sora agreed with a soft nod, though he didn't want to. He wanted to be with her, because she was so comforting. That was one of the many reasons that he loved her.

Kairi tilted her head a little as she looked at Sora, but not for any particular reason. Her small smile softened at his words, but she didn't say anything. She guessed this was goodnight.

Sora smiled weakly, leaning over and giving Kairi a kiss on the cheek. He stayed close for a few moments so he could hide the pain that moving caused him, since Kairi wouldn't be able to see his expression up close. But then he pulled back and looked back at her eyes, feeling composed. "Goodnight."

Kairi felt herself blush a little at the affection, and she lifted a hand to squeeze Sora's closest to her. "Goodnight," she said quietly. She then let go of Sora's hand and pushed herself up, her eyes lingering on him for a moment before she started forward, heading home.

Sora watched Kairi go, a weak smile on his lips as he remained seated. He would get up when he was sure that Kairi wouldn't turn around and see how careful he was with his movements. Then he could go and collapse into bed again.

Kairi glanced over her shoulder when she was at the end of Sora's yard, the girl having a soft smile on her face. But then she started down the path, going in the direction of her own home. She would see Sora in the morning.

After Kairi was out of sight, Sora picked himself up off the steps. He grunted at the pain but then turned around and went for the door. It was time to sleep.

Kairi made it home after a few minutes, and she managed to sneak up to her bedroom without being noticed. She crawled into bed after a quick change of clothes, letting herself fall asleep for the night.

The next day...

 

Sora slept late into the morning, the sunlight pouring in through his window not affecting him. He was so sore and hurting, especially after not moving all night. He laid on his stomach, face buried in his pillow.

Riku climbed up the tree next to Sora's house, taking the usual route to get into his friend's room. He'd been waiting on the island for Sora for a while now, but he hadn't shown up for training. So here he was, the coach going after his trainee. Riku stepped over a little on a thick branch, attempting to push Sora's window up. Of course, it was locked. The older boy sighed in frustration. Great.

Sora was unaware of Riku's presence outside the window, the teen sound asleep. He was glad for that, since he wanted to get away from the pain for a while. He tried to stay away from pain medication, and he couldn't use a Cure spell to make his wounds go away without the Keyblade. That really stunk.
