A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Roxas grunted, stiffening when the snowball hit the back of his head and slipped into his coat. He turned and eyed Sora, taunting him with his gaze. "Hey!" he cried, then scooping down and picking up some snow. He threw it at Sora in retaliation, a laugh leaving him as he did so. It had been forever ago since they had a snowball fight. It was fun to do that again.

As Sora laughed and ran away, Namine saw an opportunity that she couldn't ignore. She scooped down and grabbed some snow of her own, placing it atop Roxas's blond head with a few giggles of her own. She should have known that Sora would start a snowball fight within two minutes of stepping outside. 

"What?!" Roxas grunted in surprise, feeling snow being smashed into his spiky hair. He turned then and smirked at Namine playfully before he grabbed her around the waist and held her to him. "You're gonna pay for that," he murmured in her ear. He wasn't going to let that slide.

Namine let out an "eep" in alarm, knowing that she wasn't going to get away from Roxas. "Kairi, help!" she called to her best friend. "I just defended your husband, so you owe me!" Though she didn't mind being in Roxas's arms, she didn't like it knowing that playful revenge was on his mind.

Kairi stood near the house, but her ankles were surrounded not only by snow but puppies as well. "I'm a little stuck!" she called with a laugh. She couldn't really escape when puppies were climbing at her legs. "Sorry!" Namine would have to fend for herself right now, but Roxas wouldn't hurt her. He cherished Namine after all.

"Sora!" Namine called then. 

 

"Sorry Nam, I'm out!" 

 

Namine looked around for another savior, but she saw that everyone was either not paying attention or not caring. She sighed, her shoulders slumping as she gave up. "I accept my punishment, then, oh fiance of mine," she said, turning her head to look at him even though he was still very close. "What's my fate?"

Roxas loved hearing Namine call him her fiance, even if it was true. Just the name had chills running up his spine, but in a good way. "Well...for starters, when you said yes, you accepted the fact that you would be stuck with me forever," he said with a smirk. And he hoped that was okay. Actually, he knew it was okay. He remembered the proposal, and how happy Namine was. There was no second guessing her decision, ever.

"Well I wouldn't say 'stuck'..." Namine said sweetly, lifting a gloved hand to the back of Roxas's neck. She dusted away some of the lingering snow and his wet hair, her eyes locked onto his bright blue ones now. She had a feeling her punishment wouldn't be too severe, unless Roxas considered a lifetime with him to be her punishment. Of course, she thought it was the opposite. It was a blessing.

Roxas's smirk only remained at the words, ones he was glad to hear. "But for now...your fate is this," he said, then leaning forward and connecting his lips to Namine's. This was very far from punishment, as far as Roxas was concerned. His lips were already cold from the air, but that would change in a matter of seconds.

Namine shut her eyes and returned Roxas's kiss, her hand remaining on the back of his neck. Yeah, her punishment was definitely nonexistent now. She was more than happy to stand here in the snow with Roxas and share a happy kiss though, even if things around them were less peaceful as puppies began scampering into the snow.

Riku had his coat and shoes on by now, and he made sure to step carefully around puppies as they wandered around the yard. He couldn't help but smile faintly. It had been a few weeks, but they had already grown so much. He was growing attached, which was bad since they had to give the pups away. But Riku would make sure they were going to good homes before they left completely. He didn't want anything less for the little guys.

Serah stayed on the porch, having been ordered by Snow not to go out into the snow and get wet. It was a cold day after all, and she was more prone to get sick now than ever. Lightning was also on the porch, stuck with a puppy that wouldn't let her go. "Give him to me," Serah said, reaching out for him. "You can go get your coat on."

 

"I'm alright," Light said, tightening her hold on the pup ever so slightly. He was just beginning to fall asleep in her arms, so she didn't want to disturb him. Besides, what was a few more minutes without a coat on at this point? Once he was sleeping, she'd go inside and retrieve it.

Riku looked around at his friends, seeing that Roxas and Namine finally finished romanticizing and got to building their snowman. Sora was messing with Ven, Aqua and Kairi were playing with the puppies with Vanille, Fang, and Noel, and Snow was talking to Terra again. Riku located Lightning on the porch with her sister, a puppy snuggled in her arms. He smiled at the sight, loving to see her soft side. Ever since Valhalla, she let it show more. He liked it.

Lightning looked up from the puppy when she felt a new gaze on her, one that was so familiar to her that it didn't alarm her for evan an instant. Even when she looked up and met Riku's eyes though, she looked away in shyness once again. Her soft side came out a lot with the puppies, and sometimes it still embarrassed her that she was becoming such a softy.

Riku's smile only turned crooked. "Your shy side is cute too, you know," he told her silently, not mocking her in the least. He loved her, so in turn he loved each side of her. Being on the receiving end of her anger was never pleasant, but he loved her anyway. And her shy side had him wondering if that was how she would be when he proposed. That was coming up soon.

Light felt a slight blush creep into her lips, but she guessed it was partly because of the cold. But naturally any mention of her shyness was going to make her feel even more shy. She couldn't believe she was being called "cute"; that was an adjective she thought would never describe her. "Come here," she said in return. 

Riku's smile turned more genuine at the request, which he followed instantly. He started forward, stepping over two puppies that were rough housing in the process. He continued on to the porch, where Serah and Lightning were resting. Serah was bundled up, as per Snow's suggestion. The man was very protective of her with the baby on the way.

Lightning glanced down at the puppy that was still laying in her arm, being careful not to disturb it as she leaned forward and gave Riku a brief kiss on the lips. That was the only reason that she called him over; to give him a peck. She appreciated that he was giving her more confidence with showing off the softer side of herself, but he also kept her strong and tough in other ways. They were a good match, despite their first encounter.

Riku's smile instantly returned at the kiss, and he lifted a hand to run over Lightning's pink hair gently. He then looked to her sister. "How's the baby, Serah?" he asked. He knew that babies kicked a lot, and sometimes to a painful degree. She wasn't in pain, was she?

"He's lively," Serah laughed from her spot, the young woman having taken a seat on the porch swing. "I already love him though." They didn't know whether it was a boy or a girl, but for now, they were just calling the baby a "him" because Snow insisted that he wanted a boy.

Riku highly doubted it was actually a boy; if it was, Serah and Snow would have officially announced it, like they did the pregnancy. He nodded slightly in understanding. "Six more months, huh?" he asked. "I hear it goes fast." Soon she would have a baby in her arms. It was so weird, considering Serah was his age. He knew she was ready for this, though. He could see it every day.

"I hope so," Serah agreed, resting a hand on her stomach. "I want to meet you as soon as possible," she said more quietly, obviously speaking to the baby in her belly. Not only did she want to meet her child, but she also wanted pregnancy to end. She was only three months in and it was already becoming a hassle. 

When Serah spoke to her belly, Riku decided then to give her privacy. Instead, he looked at the woman beside him, that he loved. Did she want kids in the future? She stressed about becoming an aunt. Maybe children weren't in their future, if she didn't want them. But Riku had never asked. That was a huge question.

Lightning felt Riku's gaze on her, and she didn't need him to speak any words verbally or silently to know what he was thinking. "I already know," she said softly, glancing over at his chest as she spoke. "You want children, don't you?" He was so good with kids--how could he not want them? And if she wasn't mistaken, his future self claimed he wanted kids with her.

Riku lowered his hand from the back of Lightning's head, his eyes leaving her face as he looked down at his boots. "Yeah...yeah, I do," he replied lowly with a small nod. His cheeks were burning, though he doubted it was that noticeable due to the cold. He didn't realize what he wanted for his future until Lightning came along. She changed everything.
