Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

A few minutes later, Sora walked out in his normal clothes. He quick ate a banana before he came out, so at least he had a little more energy now. He shut the door behind him and saw Riku on the porch, waiting.
Riku lifted his head, standing upright when he heard the door open and footsteps. He saw Sora, and that was enough for him to turn and descend the steps. Time for some training.

Sora followed behind Riku, not saying anything. Riku wasn't acting mad after what happened yesterday, and he was glad for that. But that didn't mean Riku wouldn't be brutal in their training session.
Riku decided to skip out on going to the island today for training; enough time had already been lost in today. So, he would be fighting Sora on the beach, where he lost last night to Chris and his friends.

Sora saw Riku stop by the area where he had been defeated by Chris and his gang last night, and he couldn't help but furrow his eyebrows slightly. "Why are we here?" Why weren't they going to the island.
Riku turned around at the question. "No more of our day should go to waste paddling over to the island. Besides, you still might be too groggy to even get over the stretch of water," he replied smoothly. "So we'll be here today. Sound good?"

Sora's hands curled into light fists by his side, but he knew that Riku wouldn't change his mind about this. "Fine," he said with a faint nod. "Let's get this over with."
Riku summoned his Keyblade to his hand. "Right," he said in agreement. Getting this over with? Well, with the shape Sora was in, it probably wouldn't take that long.

Sora took a step back, cautious eyes on Riku and his Keyblade. He wasn't looking forward to this, but he would take his beating, since he had no other choice.
Riku was glad that the festival was still going on; it gave them some seclusion. He fired off a Dark Aura spell at Sora before he moved in right after. He wasn't going easy today.

Sora grunted, rolling to the side to avoid the spell. It wasn't unusual for Riku to start the fights this way, but he still had to work to avoid those orbs.
Riku released a battle cry as he swung at Sora, Keyblade moving in toward his best friend. He knew that Sora was beat up from last night, but he didn't know that Riku knew about it. Well, if he thought he could defend himself so well, Riku was going to have him confess that he failed. He wasn't ready to defend himself yet.

Sora pushed off the sand and jumped back, avoiding Riku's Keyblade. Well, he certainly wasn't going easy on him. He actually seemed...angry? Was that it? It was understandable, considering what happened between them yesterday.
"Quicker reflexes!" Riku ordered, referring to Sora's dodges and defenses. He swung at Sora again, not easing up.

Sora did the same move again, jumping backwards. He couldn't move any quicker than he already was! Riku was asking too much of him, since he was wounded. But of course, Riku didn't know that.
Riku stopped where he was, seeing Sora not too far off. With his new abilities granted to him by Master Yen Sid and Aqua, he pointed his Keyblade at the sky. "Thunder!" he hollered.

Sora lifted his hands over his head, wincing when he felt a lightning bolt strike him. When had Riku learned that spell?! He never knew that before...
Riku saw the attack hit, but then he did a roll in the sand to the side. Coming up on one knee, he fired Dark Aura at Sora again. "Let's go!"

Sora grunted, lowering his arms as he rolled forward. Most missed, and the closest one went right over his head. Riku was taunting him now, shouting all these things at him. And he didn't like it; it was unnerving him.
Riku spun around in a full circle, but coming around to face Sora again, he released Way to Dawn, sending it in at his friend. The blade spun horizontally, heading straight for Sora.
  • Author
Sora felt Riku's blade impact his arm roughly after he was up on his feet, and he hissed at the pain. He stumbled a step to the side, fighting the urge to lift a hand and set it on the wound.
"Wake up, Sora!" Riku yelled from his spot, summoning Way to Dawn back to his grasp. "You say you can fight your own battles? Prove it!"
  • Author
Sora's hands tightened into fists by his sides, the brunet grunting at Riku's comment. He could fight his own battles! He just wouldn't win all of them. That showed last night, not that anybody had been there to see it. "I don't need to prove myself to you," he said lowly.
"That's where you're wrong," Riku said sternly. "You want me to back off when Chris comes around? Then maybe you should be able to handle this. Now show me that you know what you're doing. No more screw ups!" He fired another round of Firaga orbs at Sora then, immediately jumping back into battle.
  • Author
Sora grunted at the comment, the teen jumping back to avoid the orbs. But one of them clipped his foot, and that was surely another "screw up" in Riku's eyes. But he couldn't help it if he wasn't motivated or able to fight fully right now.
