Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora turned around in his seat, facing Aqua and nodding. "More than once," he said simply. When he had been there the first time, the Organization had been there and forcing Namine to manipulate him. And the second time...he was awful to his friends. They had gone to help him recover his memories, and he had been more than just rude to them. He had fought Riku to the point of knocking him unconscious. That still wasn't a pleasant memory, and he was sure it never would be.
"That's...impossible," Aqua said, in complete disbelief that these boys actually made it out of the castle. "Everyone who went there was supposed to be lost in oblivion." Master Eraqus wouldn't be wrong about that. He wouldn't lie to her about something so specific and serious.

Sora was confused at that, but he shook his head. "We weren't the only people there, either," he said, looking to Riku when he referred to the Organization and King Mickey. Nobody from the Organization had made it out alive except for Axel. Sora, Riku, King Mickey, Axel, and Namine all left Castle Oblivion.

Riku met Sora's gaze immediately, and he knew then that he had to explain the other half to their story with Xehanort. He turned his head to look at Aqua, able to see her from where he was. "After the fall of Xehanort's Heartless, a new group threatened the Light and had its own goal through Kingdom Hearts. Ever heard of Nobodies?" he said.

"I'm afraid not," Aqua said with a small shake of her head. It didn't ring any bells, and she was sure that this happened when she was locked away in Darkness.

"Nobodies are born when a heart is consumed by Darkness," Riku said, starting a long explanation. "They're the body and soul of a person left behind after a heart is lost."

  • Author
"Unlike Heartless, most Nobodies remember their past lives," Sora said, looking to Aqua as he expanded on Riku's explanation. "They no longer have hearts, though, so they don't feel emotion. They put on charades like they do, but they really don't feel a thing." Of course, he was referring to most of the Nobodies and not Roxas and Namine; they were the exception to the rule.
Riku glanced at Sora and nodded in agreement with his words, since they were true. "Another way Nobodies are different from Heartless: they can think and plan, just like us," he stated. "Heartless act on animal instinct, but Nobodies plan ahead, which makes them more of a threat to everyone."
  • Author
"And if a person had a really strong heart, then their Nobody will have the same appearance as the real person, their Somebody," Sora said, glancing at Riku before he looked back to Aqua. "A group of strong Nobodies formed and called themselves Organization XIII." And Xehanort's Nobody was their leader, he added mentally, eyebrows furrowing slightly.

"Some of them were sent to Castle Oblivion by their leader, Xemnas. He was Xehanort's Nobody," Riku continued with a small nod. Surely Aqua had a good idea where things went from there: downhill.

Aqua's eyes were wide at what she was hearing. "You mean they were in the same castle as Ven?" she said, her voice higher with worry. Xehanort's...Nobody was near Ven?! she thought. This was definitely not good.

  • Author
Sora glanced at Riku before he looked back to Aqua. "As far as I know, Xemnas was never actually there," he said. "He sent others instead, and Riku and I both took care of them. But I never heard any of them say anything about Ven." That probably meant that they hadn't come in contact with him.

Aqua's eyes fell closed at that, the young warrior relieved at Sora's response. Good, so they didn't find Ven. That meant he was still in the Chamber of Waking, right where she left him. "...And Xemnas?" she asked in a calmer tone, opening her eyes to look at the boys. Was he defeated as well?

"Gone," Riku assured her with a nod. They didn't have to worry about him anymore, as far as Nobodies went. "Every Organization member's defeated."

  • Author
Sora silently nodded, not having much to add to that. The Organization had evil intentions, and he and Riku had fought them to protect the worlds and those who were dear to them. Xemnas had been the worst of all, even telling him, Riku, and the King to bring him more hearts when his version of Kingdom Hearts was damaged. Even though he was gone, he still didn't like that man at all, and he knew he never would, considering whose Nobody he was.
Aqua nodded in understanding, but then she remembered something. Her eyes moved to Sora. "You became a Heartless," she said softly. "Doesn't that mean you have a Nobody too?" If she was comprehending this correctly, that would be the order of things.
  • Author
"That's right," Sora said with a nod, glad that Aqua wasn't hopelessly confused over all the things she had been told since meeting them. "Roxas. He's different than most Nobodies though; he didn't have any memories of me, and he formed his own heart. He's pretty much like a normal Somebody." He and Namine were both like that.
"So he looks like you," Aqua assumed. If that was the case, and he was as Sora said he was, then did that mean they were living in peaceful harmony? But how was that possible? By what she was just told, those that took on their Somebody's appearance were defeated.
  • Author
"Not quite," Sora said, shaking his head. "It's strange, but Roxas and I only have the same eyes. Our faces look a little alike too, but he looks different than I do." He was missing Sora's trademark spiky hair for one thing. He had never really thought about why Roxas was different, though; there were a lot of things with Roxas and Namine that nobody understood.
"Mm," Aqua hummed in reply. That certainly was strange, but so was the fact that the two lived peacefully with one another. She supposed that Roxas was actually good, unlike those of Organization XIII.
  • Author
"Xemnas got a hold of Roxas pretty quickly after he existed, though," Sora said, eyebrows furrowing slightly as he shifted his gaze to the ground. "He was in the Organization for a while. But eventually he realized he was on the wrong side and he left them."

"Do you know what made him change his mind?" Aqua asked, actually curious. If Roxas was part of the Organization, she would have never thought of him to leave it, since they were so powerful. But, maybe there was an important reason why.

Riku looked from Aqua to Sora, gazing at the answer right now. Sora was the correct response to that. After all, Roxas wanted to meet him.

  • Author
"He knew that I was still alive, and he wanted to meet me," Sora said. And he was glad for that, because when Roxas met him, he completed what was missing of Sora's heart after all the events that took place at Castle Oblivion. Even if Roxas had been living inside Sora for that time, he had his own life again right now, so surely he saw that it was worth it to awaken his Somebody. At least, Sora hoped he felt that way.
"I see..." Aqua had to admit that the whole process was quite complicated, but the boys before her seemed to know it very well. She didn't doubt it, since they dealt with it all firsthand. But now she was curious as to what Roxas looked like; she would like to meet him at least once.
  • Author
Sora nodded to that, not knowing what else to say. They had yet to mention Namine and everything that occurred at Castle Oblivion, but Sora wasn't about to bring it up. If Aqua wanted to know, then she would have to ask, because he doubted he or Riku would willingly bring it up.

"...Is that all you'd like to know?" Riku asked after a small silence. If it was, then they could go ahead and take their leave. Ventus was waiting.

"Yes," Aqua said with a small nod. She was sure more questions would arise soon, but until then, that was enough information.

  • Author
Sora turned around in his seat when Aqua gave her answer, the teen starting to buckle himself in immediately. It was time for them to go to Castle Oblivion then. He hated the place, but he would have to ignore that. They weren't going to revisit his past; they were going to save Ven.

Riku nodded then. "Buckle up," he instructed the Keyblade Master softly, before turning around in his seat and focusing on the controls. It was time to start the ship and go to Castle Oblivion.

Aqua nodded once in acknowledgement and silently reached for the seat belt. She proceeded to attach both ends and strap herself in, prepared for the ride.

  • Author
Sora finished with his buckling before he looked ahead, preparing himself. It was time to go get Ventus...Why did he feel so nervous over that? He had never even met him before, had he? He hadn't realized he had seen Aqua before until he saw her face, so maybe he had met Ventus but couldn't remember?
