Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"What's wrong is that you're sitting on top of me and trying to have a serious conversation right now," Sora said, thinking that it was silly that Riku tackled him and was trying to pry information out of him this way. How was he supposed to really talk when Riku was pinning him down like this?
Riku rolled his eyes. "If I get off, will you spill?" he asked, keeping Sora pinned. He expected Sora to say yes, but if he said that and was lying, he would just get tackled again. Keeping secrets after last night was not the best idea.

Sora didn't respond, knowing that he would probably not talk anyway. "Forget it," he said. We should just keep training, he thought. Riku could finish kicking his butt, and then Sora could walk away with just a sliver of dignity. If Riku knew what happened last night, he would have been ashamed of Sora; embarrassed to have him as his "apprentice."
"That bad, huh?" Riku said, a frown still on his lips at Sora's tone. What happened to his best friend? It was like he was so...not Sora. It was weird, and Riku didn't like it. That was why he was trying to figure out what was wrong, though he kind of already knew. "'Kay, fine. Have it your way." He didn't move, the silver-haired Master staying on top of his friend, pinning him to the sand.

Sora felt angry at Riku for not letting him out of this, and he struggled to free his arms from Riku's grip. But of course, he couldn't do that; Riku was stronger than he was. And he always would be, no matter how hard Sora trained. "Get off!" he finally said in a loud tone, aggravated.
"Why?" Riku asked, furrowing his eyebrows. "Because you know I'm right, and that something really is bothering you? Of course, you're being too stubborn and won't tell me." He already knew that it was what happened with Chris, but he wasn't about to confess to that. But it also could have involved something else. "Do me a favor and tell me if it has anything to do with me being Master. You seemed upset with that fact yesterday."

Sora furrowed his eyebrows, looking at the sky behind Riku. "It's not about you," he said. At least, not directly. Sora was upset that he couldn't be like his role-model, the person who always pushed him. But now Riku was just pushing his buttons, and it was annoying.
"Okay. Then do me another favor," Riku requested, looking from Sora's eyes to the part of his forehead just above his temple. "Tell me what caused that bruise." He hadn't really noticed it until now, but if he remembered correctly from last night, it was from Sora getting kicked in the head...which was rough.

"You've been beating me up lately," Sora said, stating a fact but not really answering the question. "Could be from that." That wasn't a lie, but it wasn't the truth, either, since he knew that last night must have caused a bruise to form on his forehead.
"You need to learn how to lie better," Riku said with a deep frown, his tone showing just how much he was disappointed in Sora. "That bruise wasn't there yesterday, and I've been careful not to hit you in the head. Tell the truth, Sora."

Sora felt his cheeks get a little redder, both in frustration and embarrassment when Riku pointed out his lie. He really had no choice..."I got in a fight with Chris last night," he confessed, locking his jaw and glaring at the sky.
When the words finally registered, Riku pushed himself off of Sora, standing to the side of his best friend. That was all he needed to know, all he needed to at least be told. Finally Sora told him the truth. And he knew it was the truth; not only by the look on Sora's face, but because he was there.

Sora rolled over to the opposite side of Riku and set his hands in the sand, forcing himself to move even if it was very painful. He grunted to hold back a groan, standing up and glaring at the ocean.
Riku's eyes were still focused on Sora, and he was sure that his friend knew that questions were going to come from that. And even if Riku had seen it firsthand, he still had some of those questions to ask. "...Did that fight have anything to do with what happened at the carnival?" he asked. Riku still didn't know what caused that first fight anyway. It would be nice to know.

"I don't think so," Sora said, shaking his head and keeping his back to Riku. "Chris randomly showed up afterward because he wanted somebody to bully." And not just anybody would fit that role; it had to be Sora, who he picked on since they were little.
"Any idea why that somebody was you?" Riku asked, tilting his head a little. This was just frustrating. Chris had a lot of nerve...and he didn't listen to Riku's warning. He was definitely going to pay the price for this.
  • Author
"Riku, this is Chris we're talking about," Sora said, eyebrows furrowing slightly when Riku didn't see the obvious. "If he has a chance to pick on me, he's going to do it." That was how it was when they were kids; clearly not much changed about that over the years.
Riku sighed, lowering his sight to the sand as he crossed his arms. "Right. Chris. The one who ignores his own death sentence," he said lowly. He told Chris to back off, and what does he do? Attacks Sora with his posse. Idiot.

Sora turned around, humming in question. What was that supposed to mean? He could guess that it had something to do with Riku threatening Chris to stay away, but he wasn't positive.
Riku closed his eyes at Sora's hum, knowing what it meant. "Chris is an idiot. He doesn't take hints," he declared lowly, some bite in his voice. He hated Chris. Why couldn't he just back off?
  • Author
Sora furrowed his eyebrows, folding his arms over his chest and staring at the ground. That pretty much settled it; Riku had threatened Chris to back off in some way, and he hadn't taken the hint. "What're you going to do?" he asked, figuring Riku wouldn't let Chris get away with this.
Riku smirked, keeping his eyes closed. However, his expression wasn't one of humor or good nature. "What do you think?" he asked. It was obvious. He was going to teach that punk a lesson, the hard way.
  • Author
"That's not going to solve anything," Sora declared, eyebrows furrowed as he looked at his best friend. Even if Riku beat him up, Chris would come back at Sora even harder than before.
"Then what do you suggest, Sora?" Riku asked, turning his head and opening his eyes to meet Sora's gaze. Talking to Chris didn't work, obviously. It's not that Riku wanted to resort to violence, but the kid deserved a severe beating for all the trouble he caused in the past, and present.
  • Author
Sora lifted a hand, scratching the side of his head as he looked down at the sand. "I don't know," he said, really having no ideas on how to fix this situation. The only way he could think of was for him to actually beat Chris in a fight, but that wasn't too likely to happen; Chris was too good at fighting.
