Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Exactly," Riku said with a frown, turning his head to look at the water. The only way to get Chris back for what he'd done was to settle it his way, play his game. There was nothing but that method to solve this problem.

"But if he thinks I put you up to this, he's only going to come after me again," Sora pointed out, eyebrows furrowing as he looked at his best friend. Chris would mock him verbally because of it, and then he would pound him again. And maybe with the help of his posse.
"I told him to back off and he didn't listen to me. I'll handle it," Riku stated, arms still crossed over his chest. He wasn't going to accept Sora's refusal, if there was one. Chris needed to see just who he was messing with, and who he just defied.

Sora looked down at the ground, knowing that Riku didn't understand that going after Chris would only motivate him to come after Sora again. He would think Sora was weak and helpless enough to tell Riku to take care of things for him, when really, Riku was going to do it whether Sora approved or not.
"...And if this happens again," Riku said, but then he stopped. He wasn't sure exactly. But there was one thing he knew. "...Chris is a dead man."

Sora heard the bite in Riku's tone, and it surprised him. He knew that Riku hated Chris, but Riku wasn't one to normally let hatred of anyone come across too strongly unless he really disliked them. Did Riku really hate Chris that much just for beating him up? If Riku saw that his posse was a part of the beating last night, he would have been furious.
Riku let his eyes stay on the water, and he remembered from last night that this was where Sora was thrown in. That only made him grind his teeth together. Yeah. Chris was going to get it.

"...Maybe it would be best to drop it," Sora said, looking at the ground because he knew Riku wouldn't like hearing this. Chris was a jerk, and he did deserve punishment, but giving it to him would cause a lot more drama.
You mean like he did to you yesterday? Riku wanted to ask, but that would give him away. Sora still didn't know that he witnessed what happened last night...

"You know, maybe he'll just forget about it," Sora said, though he didn't believe what he was saying. "He got his laughs. Maybe he'll move onto somebody else..." But those were all lies, and he knew it. Chris only had more reasons to pick on him after his defeat last night, and he would make sure that Sora suffered in the future.
"You were always his primary target," Riku said, frowning a little more at the truth behind that statement. "He won't quit." It was obvious. And he had his posse behind him, and his brother too. It wouldn't stop.

"That's why you beating him up won't make a difference," Sora said, keeping his gaze on the ground. Chris would always go after him because he got pleasure from making Sora suffer. Nothing would stop him from doing that.
Riku turned his head, looking over at Sora. "I've scared him off before, but only for a little while. This time will be different." He would scare Chris off for good.

Sora furrowed his eyebrows, not looking up at Riku. You shouldn't be the one taking care of this, he thought. It's my problem, so I should be able to handle it. But he couldn't, because he was too weak. It seemed like he wasn't worth too much without the Keyblade...He felt so pathetic, depending on Riku to solve his problems for him.
"Until then, we're gonna work on your strength. And defense," Riku said with a small nod. They obviously had some more work to do, and Riku wondered if he would need a little assistance from his friends... That way Sora could learn how to defend himself with multiple enemies.

Sora kept his eyes down, not really listening. He was actually a bit surprised that Riku wasn't asking more details about the fight. Or, even more than that, he was surprised that Riku wasn't disappointed in him. Obviously he lost the fight last night, but Riku didn't seem frustrated with Sora at all over it. He thought he would have been disappointed since he was putting so much time into training him and it wasn't doing much good.
"You up to getting back to work?" Riku asked, lowering his arms from his chest. If so, they needed to go ahead and jump back into it, before either of them got too hungry, too lazy, or it got too late.

"Work on what?" Chris asked, hands in the pockets of his jeans as he headed over towards his childhood enemies. He had just been walking on the beach and saw them, so he approached them in time to hear that last bit of their conversation. He smirked inwardly at the sight of the two boys, one of them looking roughed up from last night still. What a wuss.

Riku turned around at the interruption, recognizing that voice immediately. His eyes projected a glare onto Chris, figuring he would be one to butt in. "Why do you care?"
  • Author

"Why not?" Chris countered with a shrug, stopping so that there was an equal distance between him and Riku and Sora. He shifted his attention to the younger brunet and saw him glaring at him. "What's the matter, Sora?" he asked, hands coming out of his pockets as he began to taunt him. "Still upset you got kicked out of the carnival?"

Sora locked his jaw, hands in fists by his sides as he glared at Chris. He wasn't upset about the stupid carnival and he knew it. But he wouldn't bring up what happened on the beach in case Chris's posse came into the discussion. Riku didn't know that others were involved last night.

Riku glanced over at Sora before his eyes fell back on the bully. "I think you're the one who's mad, Chris. After all, Sora beat you to the punch. Literally," he replied with a smirk of amusement, but then it turned into a thin line. "That's why you fought him last night, isn't it? Because you felt the need to redeem yourself."

Chris turned his attention to Riku, smirking slightly when Riku proved to know about what happened on the beach. "Sora came crying to you about that, huh?" he asked, though the answer was obvious. "I'm not surprised. He's too cowardly to hunt me down himself and take care of his own business, after all."

"Actually, I forced it out of him, after I saw the bruise you must have made on his forehead. Classy, by the way." Riku only glared at Chris, staying where he was beside his best friend. This was stupid. What did Chris even want?
  • Author

"Well, emotionally scarring him isn't good enough," Chris said with a smirk, looking over at Riku and spotting the bruise that Riku referred to. "I had to leave an impression. Literally." He noticed Sora's eyes narrow at that, but again the kid was silent. Chicken.

Riku shook his head. "The bruise will heal over in a few days, you know. Wounding the heart takes a lot more time," he declared. But then he shrugged. "In my book, that means you failed at hurting Sora at all."
