Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora looked up at Riku, hearing how he kept sticking up for him despite Chris's harsh insults. He was glad for that, because honestly, Chris's harshness was keeping him at a loss for words.

"Oh really?" Chris challenged, arching a brow at Riku. "If I didn't hurt him, then he wouldn't have been crying last night, would he?" But that was a lie, and judging by Sora's startled expression, he knew it as well. But the kid looked like he couldn't speak, so Riku wouldn't know the truth.

"Sora doesn't cry," Riku said, not even looking over at his best friend at the remark. He knew Sora. "He's gone through things a lot worse than you, and I haven't seen a single tear."

"I don't know what you're talking about, because Sora's too weak to handle anything worse me," Chris said, his smirk widening with that comment. "He can't even handle my taunting. After all these years, he should be used to it. But he's too stupid to actually learn from his past and get stronger. He's even more pathetic now than he was then!"

"Hey!" Riku said, instantly marching forward. His tone held bite, and that was enough for anyone to know that he was mad. Very mad at the insults.

Chris stood his ground, though his hands curled into fists by his sides in case Riku lashed out. "What's wrong, Riku?" he taunted. "I wasn't saying anything bad about you. Why get defensive over a wuss like him?" he asked, jerking his head in the direction of the teen who looked almost as angry as Riku.

"Oh, shut up," Riku snapped, walking up to Chris and stopping right in front of him. "I told you to stay away from my friends, didn't I?" He wasn't about to let Chris get away with all this talk.

"Yeah, that's what you told me," Chris said coolly, looking into Riku's eyes and seeing the fury. But obviously Chris didn't care about what Riku had to say; Riku couldn't do anything to stop him.

"And being the numbskull you are, you didn't listen to me, did you Chris?" Riku continued, glaring at the bully right in front of him. The answer was obvious, but he was just leading up to what he wanted to do to the jerk.

"Nope," Chris said simply. "And you know why that is?" he asked, not waiting for an answer. "Because I'm not scared of you, Riku. Never was. Never will be." Riku acted all tough, but he was a coward like Sora. He had limits, like not fighting in public. What a pathetic person he was, following the rules like that.

Riku stepped closer to Chris, getting face-to-face with him. "Oh really?" he challenged. He would be scared...

"Really," Chris said, glaring right back at Riku even if he was very close to him. He could practically see the steam coming off Riku now because of his anger, and he was pleased that he irked him so much.

Sora watched from his spot, eyes wide at Riku's clear fury. He hadn't seen Riku get this angry in a really long time, and to think that Riku was angry because of Chris picking on him...Well, he was touched. But he was also concerned, because he had a feeling a fight would break out soon.

"You're that tough? Prove it," Riku spat, glaring at Chris with aqua-colored eyes. He could handle him, after all the fighting he'd done in his lifetime. He wasn't scared either.

"Why should I prove anything to you?" Chris said, keeping his piercing brown eyes on Riku's aqua ones. "You're no concern of mine. It's your friend I'm after." He didn't want to face Riku in a fight, because that would actually be a challenge. And it wouldn't be as satisfying since Sora was an easier target.

"I wouldn't be too sure of that if I were you," Riku warned lowly. Chris wasn't concerned with him, but he should have been. If he made one more wisecrack, he would know why.

Chris glared at Riku, his defiant stare being his response. Riku really wanted to get involved with a mess that didn't concern him? Alright; Chris would give him a fight if that was what he wanted.

Riku waited, expecting a retort of some kind that would bring about some more of his anger. Chris was pretty good at that, other than forcing sorrow and humiliation, as well as pain, among someone.

Chris "hmphed", seeing that Riku wasn't initiating anything. "Let me guess," he started. "You're waiting for me to say something that'll give you a real reason to fight. Because you're too 'good' to start a fight for no good reason. Am I right?" Of course he was right; Riku was obviously against pointless violence. But Chris wasn't.

"Right," Riku replied, though his eyes never left Chris's. "So let's have it." He was ready; always was. Chris was nothing but a chump anyway.

Chris arched a brow, still staring at Riku. "I haven't given you enough reason to fight with the way I've been trashing your 'best friend'?" he asked, looking past Riku and seeing Sora standing in the same place he had been since the start. "That's pretty sad, you know. A real friend would have clobbered me from the start. But apparently Sora's not important enough for you to fight for."

"I'm a real friend. Trust me." Chris had no idea how true of a friend Riku was to Sora, since he didn't know about Riku's time in Darkness. He would let Chris go on about this "real friend" business, but Riku knew the truth. That was all that mattered.
  • Author

"Actions speak louder than words, Riku," Chris said, frowning when Riku wasn't ticked about the comments. "You don't seem willing to prove that you're a real friend, so this is a waste of my time. See ya." He took a step to the side and then started walking forward, in Sora's direction.

"Hold it," Riku ordered then, reaching out with his arm and grabbing onto Chris's shirt. His eyes were on the bully, though he didn't make any other moves; he just kept his grip on his clothing.
  • Author

Chris chuckled, stopping when Riku gripped the back of his shirt. "That's it?" he asked. "That's all you're going to do?" That was pathetic. He thought Riku was a little tougher than this, but apparently not.

"Give me one more bit of attitude, and you'll get more. How does that sound?" Riku frowned at the back of Chris's head, not letting go of his shirt. His aqua eyes then darted to his best friend not too far off. He wasn't letting Chris near him...not while he was here.
  • Author

Chris rolled his eyes, though he didn't try getting out of Riku's grip. "I've given you plenty of attitude and the only thing I've gotten is words," he said. "Let go, Riku. You're not going to do anything."

Sora watched the scene from where he was, realizing that Chris had a point. Earlier, Riku had made it sound like he would hunt Chris down to beat him up. But he hadn't done anything violent yet even if Chris was giving him plenty of reason to. What was Riku thinking? It really did seem like he wasn't going to do anything to Chris at all.
