Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora hummed slightly, nodding in agreement. But then he remembered something else that happened last night. "Kairi showed up at my house a little while after it happened," he said, recalling that now.
Riku blinked in shock, remembering that he'd specifically told Kairi not to tell Sora they had been watching. Regardless, he stayed quiet, hoping that nothing had been said.

"She didn't stay too long," Sora said, looking up at the sky in thought. "She wanted to talk about what happened at the carnival." A humorless laugh left him, the teen shaking his head. "She thought I was hurting from that one punch at the carnival..." If she really knew, she would have been worried sick.
Riku lowered his sight to the ground again, frowning. Would Sora ever tell Kairi what he confessed to him? Or was he going to keep it a secret from her, even if she already knew? The boy didn't say anything, just staying silent.

"...You won't tell her what happened, will you?" Sora asked, looking over at Riku. Kairi would be really upset, both because of the fight itself and because Sora hid it from her.
Riku glanced up at Sora, but his eyes closed shortly after. He shook his head. He wouldn't say anything, mostly because he didn't need to. Kairi already knew.

Sora tilted his head slightly, wondering what Riku's expression was all about. "What's wrong?" he asked before he could stop himself. Riku looked...odd. Sad, even. How come?
"Nothing," Riku answered, not opening his eyes. His voice was monotone, even and not showing anything. He didn't want to say what he was thinking about either; it would only lead to an argument.

Sora furrowed his eyebrows, not believing Riku. But he wouldn't pry; if it was really important, Riku would share it, wouldn't he? He would hope so.
Riku kept his eyes closed, wondering how things would go if he did confess. Would Sora be mad? Or disappointed that he lied? Would he be upset that Riku didn't bother helping out, or would he be most angry about Kairi being there?

...But at the same time, Riku wasn't one to open up too often. Maybe it was best that he tried to get Riku to speak up. "I don't believe you," he said, aware that quite a few moments of silence had passed between his response and Riku's.
Riku smiled weakly, though his eyes remained closed. Not surprising. "...You're not as easy to fool anymore," he admitted quietly. Sora had gotten a lot smarter since having to deal with people like "Ansem" and Xemnas, and Xehanort. He was more observant, which sometimes wasn't to Riku's liking.

Sora blinked, furrowing his eyebrows slightly when Riku confirmed that he was right. "You're right, I'm not," he agreed. But of course, a lot of things still got past him, whether he realized it or not.
Riku's smile faded after a minute, and he opened his eyes to stare at his pants. He was waiting for Sora to go ahead and badger him. And he was sure that he would get annoyed enough to spill his thoughts and confess.

"Do I have to drag it out of you?" Sora asked, keeping his eyes on Riku despite the fact that his friend wouldn't look up at him. He really didn't feel like being a pest right now, but he guessed that if Riku didn't open it up, he would have to annoy him until he spilled.
"I'm not going to tell you willingly," Riku admitted, furrowing his eyebrows. He didn't want any more problems between him and Sora that revolved around Chris and his stupid friends. It was a pain to have any kind of conflict with any of his good friends.

"That bad?" Sora asked, eyebrows furrowing in seriousness. It certainly wasn't good, if that was the case. Did he really want to know? It didn't seem like Riku needed to talk about whatever it was; he seemed composed. But then again, he always did.
Riku nodded with a small hum. It was bad in his eyes, considering he had to sit there and watch. He had to restrain himself so many times last night, having been tempted to run in and tackle any of the people that beat on Sora. Of course, that didn't happen.

Sora looked to the ocean, making a decision then. "I guess I don't want to know," he said. "But if it's something you ever wanna talk about, I'm here." He always was available for Riku, his best friend.
"...Thanks." Riku wasn't sure what else to say other than that, and he kind of felt bad for even telling Sora that. He should have been honest, but it would only bring more conflict, which was the last thing he wanted right now. If it came up some other way, he would deal with it then. For now, he wasn't going to.

"Mm," Sora hummed, nodding faintly. He was curious as to what Riku was thinking about, but he wouldn't pry. If it was really that important, then he would hear it eventually.
Riku glanced up at Sora finally, just looking at his friend for a moment. But then he turned his head to look at the ocean too, silent now.

As Sora stared at the ocean, he couldn't help but start thinking about everything with Chris again. Surely his troubles weren't over yet. But all he could do now was be ready for whatever was in his future.
Riku just listened to the sound of the water, letting his thoughts filter out and disperse. He was just thankful Chris was their only problem, instead of having something much, much worse. Nothing would be as bad as Xehanort's doing.

Later that night...

Terra stood at the carnival, waiting in line at some roller coaster with Ven. He knew his other friends were around the carnival somewhere except for a few people. A little while ago, he had run into Roxas, who was by himself. Apparently Namine was tired and went for home, but she insisted Roxas still have fun at the carnival. And he hadn't run into Sora, who hadn't told anybody that he was going to the island to think for a while. He didn't know where Riku, Kairi, or Aqua were, but he assumed they were at the carnival somewhere too. But he didn't need to keep tabs on his friends, so he wasn't overly worried about where they all were.
