Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku started the ship and set the coordinates for Castle Oblivion, and it only took a minute for them to get in the air. After that, Riku pushed a small lever forward, and they immediately went into Warp Mode. It was only a matter of seconds before the bright light vanished and they were hovering right in front of Castle Oblivion.

Sora frowned, seeing Castle Oblivion in front of him. He couldn't help but feel disgust, both with the place and with himself for what he had done the last time he was here. But he tried to ignore those feelings and focus on the mission. Ventus. This was all about Ven.

Riku picked a landing point right next to the castle, and it only took a little maneuvering before the ship was safely on the ground. He turned the ship off and pressed a button, opening the door to the outside.

Ven... Aqua immediately unbuckled herself and pushed herself up from her seat, heading straight for the open door. He was here... Now she could see if he was okay.

Sora unbuckled himself as well, rising to his feet after Aqua. He saw her already heading to the door and he stayed a few steps behind her, not wanting the group to get separated.

Riku quickly unbuckled himself and got up, darting for the door when he saw how fast Aqua was moving. And honestly, he didn't blame her. She was wanting to see Ven, and that was understandable in his eyes. He remembered checking on Sora when he was sleeping too.

Aqua moved down the ramp that extended to the ground with rushed steps, moving toward the large doors to the castle immediately. Ven was in there, and now that she was here, she started to remember exactly where she left him.

Sora kept up with Aqua, silently wondering if Nobodies and Heartless were inside. In a way, he doubted it. Aqua seemed...connected to this place, somehow. And it seemed like it was more than just Ven. Maybe no enemies would spawn while she was there. At least, that was what he was hoping.
Aqua approached the large doors, but she found herself stopping just in front of them. Instead, she lifted her gaze to look up at the castle. "Ven..." she said softly. After a second, she lowered her head and reached into her pocket, searching for her item. And sure enough, it was there. Pulling it out, Aqua gazed gently at the blue Wayfinder. An unbreakable connection.

Sora stopped slightly behind Aqua and to the side, able to see from his place what she held in her hand. It looked a lot like the talisman Kairi had made for him, only it was made out of different materials. He stayed silent, not asking any questions. If she took it out now, then it must have had some significance. He blinked at that thought, recalling how he had taken out his charm when looking for Aqua's armor. That talisman...it must have connected with Aqua's armor so that it allowed them to see the secret passage and find it. That was what he was figuring now, anyway. It made sense.
Aqua lifted her eyes from the Wayfinder to the castle again, and she found herself smiling. After so long, she would be able to see Ven again. Even if he wasn't awake yet... The young woman put her charm back before approaching the double doors, pushing one open. It was time to go see Ven.

Sora looked to the doors when Aqua pushed them open, and he immediately tensed in anticipation. Would there be enemies waiting for them? Like he had thought earlier, he didn't think there would be, but still, he didn't know for sure. They were about to find out.
Riku saw Aqua walk in, and he flexed his hand, wanting to summon Way to Dawn. There were multiple reasons for that. One, this place was always infested with Nobodies. Two, he hated this place. And three, Aqua didn't have her Keyblade, which was still back in Hollow Bastion. But she didn't seem too worried, so he would just go in after her.

Sora walked in after Aqua, more cautious than the Keyblade Master in front of him. I hate this place, he thought, looking around instinctively. He didn't see any enemies, but that could have changed at any time. That was why his hand was open, ready for his Keyblade to appear.

Aqua briefly looked around the white hall, but she kept walking, knowing that Sora and Riku were right behind her. "Make sure you shut the door," she said, speaking over her shoulder as she glanced back. "We can't risk anyone else getting in."

Riku nodded wordlessly and pushed the door closed, since he was the last one inside. When he heard the door latch, he turned around, starting to walk in the trail of Aqua's footsteps.

Sora glanced over his shoulder, hearing the door being shut and seeing Riku trailing behind him. He then looked forward, no enemies forming. That was good, but he hoped that Ventus was close; he didn't want to go all the way through the castle again.
Aqua turned her head forward again, approaching the small set of stairs that led to the first door. "Neither of you should encounter any danger here," she said, her voice echoing slightly due to the walls. "Master Eraqus assured me that since I know the exact layout of the castle, I won't be lost in oblivion, unlike past visitors." She stopped just in front of the door, turning a little to give both boys a comforting smile. "I'm sure that goes for my comrades as well."

Sora felt himself smile slightly, the teen nodding once in response to Aqua's reassurance. He was glad to hear that, but still, he wasn't letting down his guard. After everything that had happened here, it was understandable.

Riku met Aqua's gaze and nodded with a faint smile. That was reassuring, and he figured she must have sensed their caution or thought of pointing it out herself. Either way, it was a good thing to hear.

"This way," Aqua said, jerking her head toward the door. "I still need to explain. There are some things you need to know." The woman then turned to the door and grabbed the handle, pulling it open. She trusted both boys to follow her, so she went on ahead.

Sora walked in behind Aqua, wondering what she meant when she had some things to explain. Regardless, he didn't ask questions, trusting the older Keyblade Master even though he was just getting to know her.

Aqua led Sora and Riku up to the next floor in silence, but she decided that she needed to start explaining what she neglected to mention upon arrival. "Initially, I had to seal my home world's Keyhole, as Master Eraqus asked of me, in case it ever fell to Darkness," she started. "He was the protector of our world, and because he was struck down, there was no one there to save our home from destruction."

Riku walked beside Sora, a few steps behind Aqua. Upon hearing her explanation, he furrowed his eyebrows. "You mean, it fell to Darkness?" he asked, trying to make things cleared up in his head.

"Yes," Aqua answered with a small nod. That was exactly what happened, and she had to see the ruins when she brought Ventus back from Yen Sid's place. It had been a horrifying sight.

"Xehanort?" Sora guessed, figuring that he would be responsible for the destruction of the world somehow. It seemed as if he was extremely destructive in the past, but that wasn't surprising considering all the trouble his Nobody and Heartless had been.
"Unfortunately," Aqua confirmed, glancing over her shoulder at Sora. She then focused forward again. "I didn't see it for myself until I brought Ven back. Of course, he was the one who guided me there." She still wasn't sure how it happened. His Keyblade had just...appeared and he opened a passage.
  • Author
"Mm," Sora hummed, just assuming that Aqua had a connection with Ven because of their friendship. He wasn't sure exactly how things worked, but again, it wasn't a huge concern, so he didn't bother asking questions.
"Anyway," Aqua continued, approaching the next door. "I had to lock my home world away with the Master's Keyblade that was left behind. After sealing the Keyhole, the world was transformed." It was hard to believe, but her world was transformed into...this.
  • Author
Sora blinked at that, understanding what Aqua was saying. This castle...it used to be Aqua's world? "Wow," he said without thought, instinctively looking around and seeing things in a new light. What kind of magic was powerful enough to transform an entire world? That was incredible.

Aqua looked over her shoulder, smiling a little. "I see you've got it, Sora," she said. "And you're right. Castle Oblivion... It's the place of my home. Where it used to be."

Riku's eyes widened a little. So, this place was actually made by Aqua? How bizarre. He would have never thought of that. "I bet it's hard," he said then, "to see the place you grew up in turn into a way to oblivion."

Aqua's smile faded a little. "It was," she replied, going through the next door and starting up the stairs. "But it's safe...for Ven. That's all that matters." And it's all that ever would. As long as her friend slept in peace, untouched and of no danger, then she was okay with it.
