A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"Hm?" Riku grunted quietly, his eyes moving away from Ven and Aqua to his best friend. He caught the tone his name had been spoken, and he could see how...lost Sora seemed to look. What was wrong?

Sora took a few steps over to the side, silently telling Riku to stand where he could see Ventus. He couldn't say it aloud, so he figured that showing Riku what the Keyblade wielder looked like would be enough to explain what must have been showing on his face.

Riku furrowed his eyebrows slightly at Sora's movement, but he took a few steps in that direction anyway. He stood where Sora did just seconds ago, and looked from his best friend over toward the only chair in the room. He blinked instantly at the face he saw, leaning forward slightly and squinting to make sure he was seeing this correctly. Ven...looked exactly like Roxas.

Sora saw Riku's movements out of the corner of his eye, but he kept his eyes on Ventus. He didn't understand...anything. He had been following the stories Aqua had told him about the past, but now he felt as if things were completely different. Ven and Roxas were identical from what he could see except for the clothing.

Riku straightened, his eyebrows remaining furrowed. This was just too weird. Why did Roxas and Ventus look so much alike? They were practically identical... The older boy turned his head to look at Sora. So this was what was confusing him earlier... Now Riku understood why.

 

Aqua took her hand away from Ven's face and set it on her knees, but after a second she stood up straight. Even without his heart, she knew he was alive. He was just sleeping, from what she could remember of Yen Sid's explanation. But she was so glad she was able to come see him again.

Sora felt Riku's gaze on him, so he turned his head and looked up at his taller friend. His eyebrows were furrowed slightly in confusion and question, but he had a feeling that Riku wouldn't be able to figure things out, either. How was this possible?

"Sora. Riku," Aqua said then, her smile still on her face. She still needed to tell them about what exactly this place was, and what state Ven was in. However, when she turned around, her smile faded upon seeing the two boys' expressions. "...Is something wrong?"

 

Riku turned his head to look at Aqua, breaking the eye contact with Sora. "It's just..." he started, but how could he possibly say it? Ven looks like Roxas. Would she think they were crazy for saying such a thing? Riku was aware that she needed to know, but this would only make her confused, and admitting it would be hinting at another complication.

Sora looked away from Riku to Aqua, hearing his friend trail off. Instead of waiting for him to finish the sentence, Sora did. "...He looks just like Roxas...My Nobody." He added on for the last part for Aqua's sake, just in case she didn't remember some of the things they had talked about earlier. It had been a lot for her to take in, and now Riku and Sora had something new to take in as well.

"Who?" Aqua asked softly in confusion. However, she turned around to a little to glance back at her friend that was still sleeping. "Ven?" He looked like Roxas? She didn't understand...

 

"Yeah," Riku confirmed with a small nod. That was exactly what they were trying to point out, and it was so bizarre. How was this even possible?

Sora didn't bother speaking, not having anything to say. This was so confusing...How did his Nobody look like Ven? That was so random, so impossible...

Aqua turned her head forward to gaze at her two comrades. "I can assure you that there is only one of Ven, but..." She looked from Sora and then back to Ven, before her gaze returned to the brunet. "He does have a few similarities." They had the same face shape, same build, and looking at Sora's eyes, she could imagine the same ones that belonged to Ven looking back at her.

Sora felt more confused at Aqua's words, and he tilted his head slightly. "Similarities to who?" he asked, knowing that she couldn't be referring to Roxas; she had never met him. That was why Sora's question fit here. Who else would she have been referring to other than Roxas? Was there somebody else who looked a little like Ven?

"Come here," Aqua requested gently, motioning for Sora to come over with her hand. She needed to make sure she wasn't just saying it convince herself that the boys were right. She needed to find some truth in this.

Sora glanced at Riku, a confused look on his face. But he didn't ask Aqua any more questions, his last one still hanging in the air. He turned his head forward and obeyed Aqua's request, walking over towards her and the boy in the chair.

Riku didn't have a chance to return Sora's look, nor did he have a chance to say anything. Not that he had anything in mind anyway. He was just as clueless as to what was going on as Sora was.

Sora stopped by Ven and Aqua, the teen looking away from Aqua to the boy who looked like he was asleep. He didn't get it...why did he feel like he knew him so well? He had never seen Ventus before; he was sure of it. If that were the case, he would have thought about things when he first met Roxas.

Aqua bent down again, putting herself more at eye level with Sora. Her hands rested lightly on her knees as she examined his face, tilting her head to the side a little. When he was younger, she thought that Sora was a spitting image of Ven. And now that they appeared around the same age...was it the truth?

Sora looked back up at Aqua to see her examining him, and he felt a little weird when she stared at him that way. Out of nervous habit, he lifted a hand and ran it over the back of his head, his eyes going down and to the side when he felt Aqua's stare on him for a while.

"I was right..." Aqua said, her voice hushed with astonishment. Ven had those exact same facial features, apart from Sora's hair. But...why did they look so much alike? It was troubling.

Sora looked back up at Aqua when she spoke, and he lowered his hand back to his side. "Huh?" he asked, dumbly, still really confused as to what was going on here. What was she right about?

"When I said that Ven had a few similarities, I was referring to you, Sora," Aqua explained, remaining at eye-level with the boy. It was so strange... "He has the same eyes and everything... But it's your hair that's different." That was peculiar as well, though she wasn't sure how much further she could question it. Things were confusing enough.

Sora blinked in surprise to that, his hand coming up to his chin as he shifted his gaze to Ventus in the chair. Did they really look alike? He guessed he could see a few similarities, but...that only complicated things more! What was even going on here?!

"But...you say he looks like Roxas," Aqua continued, standing up straight. "That's what I don't understand... Ven hasn't left this spot, so if there's any reason they look alike..." It was beyond her. She wasn't sure what he explanation for this could be.

 

Riku started to approach the chair as well, a question coming to mind. "What is this place?" he asked. "And why is Ventus here?" It was locked, obviously to keep him safe. But why did he appear so...comatose?

Sora looked over at Riku when he joined the group before his eyes found Aqua again, the teen waiting to hear answers to Riku's question. He had forgotten as soon as he saw Ventus that they were still in Castle Oblivion, but that was understandable considering the circumstances. Riku, though, was probably referring to this secret room.

Aqua's gaze turned to focus on the silver-haired teen, immediately reminded that she had left some stuff out. "It's called the Chamber of Waking," she said. "Ven's supposed to stay here until he wakes up."
