A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Kairi's eyes widened at the call, and she whirled around. Her gaze automatically fell on the bridge, in which she instantly smiled. Sora... The girl lifted a hand from her arm and waved lightly. When had he gotten here? She was the only one on the island...or at least she thought so.

Sora felt a wide smile appear on his face and he jumped down from the bridge, grunting slightly but still landing smoothly on his feet. He started over towards her, so happy to see her.

Kairi's smile softened a little as she lowered her hand to rest on the opposite arm, over the quarter-sleeve of her shirt. She was confused by Sora's appearance, though she felt amused at his expression. He seemed happy...

Sora stopped right in front of Kairi and wrapped his arms around her upper torso before he could step himself, a smile still on his lips. He was so happy to see her...She was alright, even after the Darkness took their home. He was so grateful and overjoyed at that.

Kairi blinked at the sudden embrace, though she laughed slightly. "'Hello' to you too," she said with amusement. She moved her arms a little to grip the front of Sora's shirt, his embrace a little too tight for her to move completely. He was awfully eager today.

"Hi," Sora said sheepishly, keeping his embrace around Kairi. She sounded alright too, so she wasn't just physically unharmed. Thank goodness the Darkness didn't hurt her when it was covering the Islands.

Kairi only smiled, reveling in Sora's warmth. She was a bit cold, but it was passing now, since he was here. But she really was curious... How did he get here? Nobody was on the island when she arrived...

...But still, Sora had to ask, just to make sure. "You okay?" he asked gently, loosening his embrace a little bit. He had been gone for so long, and he was uncomfortable with the idea of Darkness taking his home world. But it was all okay now, he hoped.

"Just a little tired," Kairi answered honestly, her voice soft. "Why?" She couldn't come up with a reason as to why she wouldn't be alright... Did something happen that she didn't know about?

Sora loosened his embrace on Kairi, surprised that she even had to answer that last question. "Why?" he repeated in confusion. "Kai...Don't you remember what happened a few nights ago?" Darkness attacked their home!

Kairi furrowed her eyebrows slightly. "...No," she answered slowly, confused now. She pulled her head back from Sora's shoulder, aiming to look at his face now. "Sora... Is there something wrong?" Kairi didn't understand. What happened a few nights ago?

Sora was surprised at Kairi's answer, and he didn't respond to the question right away as he looked down at her. How could she not remember? He couldn't exactly say what happened to her that night, since they weren't together when the attack happened. Something this significant couldn't be forgotten that easily...

Kairi felt worry wash over her heart then, the girl keeping her grip on Sora's shirt. "Sora...Talk to me," she encouraged gently. Why was he looking at her like that?

Sora set his hands on Kairi's shoulders, knowing then that he had to somehow explain this. "...The Darkness swallowed the Islands," he said, his voice as gentle as possible when he broke the news to her. But there was much more to it than that.

Kairi's eyebrows furrowed in completely puzzlement. She lifted one of her hands to Sora's forehead, feeling for a fever. "Are you sick?" she asked, moving her hand to his cheek then. The islands were just fine. What was Sora talking about?

Sora felt his eyes widen at Kairi's question, to which he quickly shook his head. "No," he said frantically. "It really happened! I think you were at the carnival with everyone, and I was over here and Darkness...poured out of the Secret Place and..." He trailed off, a bit flustered. How was he supposed to explain this?

Kairi only stared at Sora with the same expression. What he was saying pushed fear on her heart, and she briefly thought she actually remembered some of it. "...That's impossible, Sora," she said softly, worried. "I was here... Nothing happened."

Sora shook his head again, trying to convince Kairi. He knew that it happened! "You must have lost your memories of when it happened," he said. "Riku...He was with me! He knows that this really happened..." Where was he, anyway? Probably looking for Kairi or Namine, or his parents.

Kairi lowered her gaze to the ground at that. Riku...? She closed her eyes when something flashed in her memory...of Riku coming to her rescue. "...Are you sure you weren't dreaming?" she asked quietly. She had to ask...just in case. But the more Sora talked about it, the more she started to feel he was right.

Sora nodded with confidence. That was too crazy for him to dream up. But...How did he convince Kairi of that? "...I can prove it to you," he said suddenly, taking his hands off her shoulders and stepping back a few steps. The Keyblade...He hadn't had it before this whole thing. But now he did. If that wasn't proof, he didn't know what was.

Kairi opened her eyes, lifting her head to look at Sora now. He could prove it? But how?

Sora stopped a few steps away and flexed his hand, the Kingdom Key appearing just a moment later. He glanced down at it before his bright blue eyes found Kairi, the presence of his Keyblade saying enough.

Kairi blinked in surprise. "The...Keyblade?" she asked, slowly lifting her fingers to her lips. Her eyes went up to the blue staring back at her in shock...and fear. How did Sora get that back? Was he really telling the truth?

Sora nodded, looking at Kairi's eyes and spotting the bit of fear that had appeared. "...I got it back, while this world was gone," he said. He could tell her all the details, but that would take a very long time.

Kairi tore her gaze away from Sora's to look over at the mainland. It had really disappeared...while she was here? "...How?" she asked softly, a little scared that she had been here when that happened. What happened to her?
