A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Sora summoned his Keyblade away, taking a small step towards Kairi. "...You probably want to sit down," he suggested softly. "It's a long story." And he would try to keep out some details so she wouldn't get upset, like the business with the X-blade. She would be terrified if she found out what happened to him...

Kairi nodded once, her eyes finding Sora once more. She knew that she was in for something probably very dark and awful, but she could handle it. She would have to. The girl bit her lip and lowered herself to the ground where she was; she would prefer to hear it right in that spot.

Sora sat down beside Kairi, though he wasn't looking at her. He wouldn't until the story was done, and probably not right after it, since he would be lying with some of the details. "...Xemnas was the person who destroyed the Islands," he started as he stared at the ground. "He was recreated, since we killed Xehanort a while ago."

"That...was the night of the carnival?" Kairi asked softly, not meaning to interrupt. The question just kind of came out of her. The memories of that night were starting to come back... The storm, the fear...

Sora looked over at Kairi at the question, not expecting it. "You remember?" he asked without thought. That was good, or bad, depending on how one looked at it. The Darkness attacking their home had been a terrifying experience.

"I'm starting too..." Kairi replied softly, staring down at her knees that she was hugging. "Piece by piece." If Sora kept telling the story, she would surely remember more...at least until she couldn't anymore.

Sora furrowed his eyebrows slightly, looking back at the sand. He needed to keep telling the story. "Xemnas came to the play island," he said. "He said that he was going to open the Keyhole and release Darkness into the world...I tried to distract him until somebody else could come, but I couldn't do it. Xemnas got away just as Riku came to help me." And he had been seriously injured then...

Kairi didn't say anything, just listening. She silently encouraged Sora to continue, though the mention of Riku again sent memories flooding to her mind. Riku had saved her from...Heartless, hadn't he?

"Xemnas succeeded," Sora said, eyebrows furrowing as he stared at the ground. "Riku and I managed to escape, and so did Roxas, Aqua, Terra, and Ven. But all of us except for Riku and I were separated. And the Organization was reborn as Somebodies since their Heartless and Nobody were killed, so we were hunted down and captured. Only Aqua got away..."

Kairi turned her head slightly to gaze gently at Sora. They were captured? By the Organization? And that whole time...she and Namine were in Darkness? This was awful...

"...We were all taken back to the Castle in the World That Never Was, but I was separated from the others," Sora said, continuing to stare at the ground. "Aqua found me and I managed to escape in a Gummi ship, but she was captured in the process. And...The Organization followed me in their own ships and shot me down." That had been one of many painful experiences he had during this whole thing.

Kairi tilted her head slightly, eyes soft with fear and worry of the boy she loved. What happened after that?

"I got lucky," Sora said. "I landed at Disney Castle and the King and Donald and Goofy took care of me. But Xemnas sent a letter that said if I didn't return, then somebody would die. The King let me borrow power from the Cornerstone of Light to hopefully heal my heart and then I went back." He lifted his gaze to the ocean, continuing. "It worked. I surprised the Organization when I was able to wield the Keyblade again. And I freed everyone and we managed to defeat a few members of the Organization before they fled."

"Then what?" Kairi asked softly, prodding Sora to continue. This was a...difficult thing to hear, but he did have some explaining to do.

Sora furrowed his eyebrows, knowing that he couldn't tell Kairi the full truth. "Long story short, the Organization fled to the alternate Twilight Town that Ansem the Wise created a long time ago. We weakened them and then left the system and locked it so that the remaining members couldn't escape. And then we found a way to restore this world, and, well...Here we are."

"We?" Kairi repeated softly. "I haven't seen anyone else but you..." Riku, Roxas, Terra, Aqua, and Ven... They hadn't shown up on the islands. At least, not that she knew of.

"They're probably on the mainland," Sora said, looking down at the ground. At least, he hoped that was true; he thought he noticed a few gliders fly in a little while ago, and he figured it was Aqua, Terra, and Ven.

"Oh..." Kairi said softly, turning her gaze out to the water. Maybe they were. She hadn't been there much today; she'd spent most of her time here.

 

Riku was the last one to enter his home world, flying in close to the play island. He saw two figures on the beach, and he had a feeling they were his best friends. He started toward the smaller island instantly.

"Everyone's alright, though," Sora assured Kairi softly, keeping his gaze down. If any of them had wounds after their last battle, they were minimal. And Sora's heart seemed to be alright despite all the experiments that had been done on it...

Kairi smiled weakly. "That's good," she said softly. After everything, she just wanted all of her friends to be okay, be happy again.

 

Riku lowered his Glider toward the ground, getting closer to the beach. Yup, Kairi and Sora. Good, Sora made it home safe.

Sora blinked when he heard a noise, his eyes wandering in that direction. He saw Riku coming down and he automatically rose to his feet, glad to see that his friend made it home safely.

Kairi looked up when Sora rose, but then she registered that he did because of the noise nearby. She looked up at the sky, still hugging her knees when she saw somebody coming in on their Keyblade Glider. Riku.

 

Riku slowed his Glider and stopped himself a few yards in front of Sora and Kairi, near the shoreline. He hopped off his Glider, his armor disappearing at the same time. He stood up straight and looked at his two friends, nodding to them with a smile. Finally, Riku was home.

Sora felt a slight smirk appear, his eyes on his best friend. "About time," he said, referring to Riku's late arrival. And Sora thought he was going to be the last one back...Apparently he had been wrong.

Riku only continued to smile. "I wasn't in as much of a hurry as you. I didn't have a girlfriend to come back to," he said, his eyes on Kairi now.

 

Kairi huffed at Riku's words, pushing herself up from the ground. She then started over toward Riku. "But you did have a best friend," she said with a small smile. She approached Riku quickly and wrapped her arms around him, giving her brotherly-figure a hug. It wasn't a second later that she felt his big arms around her as well.

Sora's smirk turned into a genuine smile, his eyes on his girlfriend and his best friend. He was so glad that the three of them were back together, even if the rest of their friends weren't with them. They'd have to go to the mainland soon and look for them. [/align]
