Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora's folded arms came undone, and he weakly hugged Kairi back. He kept his head lowered and his eyes shut, his head turned towards her. He really wished she didn't feel the need to know that...It was terrible.
"Sorry...that I pressured you into telling me," Kairi whispered softly. Next time, she would listen to Sora's judgement. She didn't like what she heard, and he obviously didn't like it either.

Sora hummed softly in response, not really knowing what to say. Now she knew the truth, but that still was nothing compared to actually being there and being responsible for what happened.
Kairi squeezed Sora a little. "I love you," her heart told him gently. "...I'm glad you're home." The last bit she spoke aloud, her voice no louder than a whisper. She just wanted him to know that...

Sora couldn't help but smile weakly at Kairi's words, both the verbal ones and the silent ones. "I'm glad I'm home too," he said softly, turning his head more so his face was against Kairi's head. "And I love you too."
Kairi felt a smile form on her face, even if it was buried in Sora's shoulder. She just wanted to forget the last part of their conversation even happened, about the X-blade. She didn't want to think about it; she just wanted to enjoy her time with Sora...and Riku.

Sora exhaled a soft breath through his nose, turning his head so that it was facing forward again but it was still lowered. He realized that Riku was still standing nearby, but he didn't know what his best friend was thinking.
Kairi turned her head so her forehead was against Sora's neck, and she could breathe in fresh air. She could feel Riku's gaze on her, but she knew that he didn't take this in any awkward or negative way. He loved her and Sora, as siblings and best friends. He was happy for them...and that everyone was together again.

Sora opened his eyes after a few moments, looking down at the ground despite the fact that he could tell Riku was looking at them. He almost wondered if Riku wanted to join in the hug after everything that happened, but he doubted that. That wasn't something Riku would typically do.
Riku crossed his arms and shook his head. "What a lovefest," he commented, though he was smiling. He loved his friends, in that unique, brotherly way. He was protective of them both, but he was happy that things were finally settling down. It was about time.

Sora looked up at Riku when he spoke, seeing the look on his face. He couldn't help but smirk slightly, used to Riku's taunting by now. "Aww, c'mon, Riku," he said, a lighter attitude coming through even after everything. "I know you wanted to make it a group hug."

Riku made a face at that. "Uh...no thanks," he said with a shake of his head. "Too much love for me." He wasn't one to usually give hugs anyway...

Kairi pulled back a little from Sora's embrace, thought she kept one arm around his back. She looked at Riku with a small turn of her head and smiled at him. "Come here, Riku," she encouraged with a smile, her tone a little playful as well. Kairi held an arm out to him, prodding him even more.

Sora smiled more widely at Kairi's prodding, his embrace on her also loosening as he looked over at Riku. What was his friend going to do?

Riku lifted a hand to scratch his cheek as he looked between his two friends. "Uh..." He was never one for the touchy-feely stuff, like Sora. But...he guessed this kind of called for it. "Fine." He sighed a little and walked the few feet towards his friends, smiling a little in amusement, but there was some happiness in there too.

Riku was close enough that Kairi could put her hand on his side, and then he took another step in, which gave her the ability to wrap her arm around him. She could tell that Riku wasn't really up for this, but this was, in a way, necessary. At least to her.

Sora kept one arm around Kairi's back, the other hand coming up and finding Riku's shoulder. He had to admit, this was a little weird. When was the last time Riku hugged him, even in a group? It had clearly been a while, seeing how Riku was doing now. "Somebody needs to teach Riku how to give hugs," he silently joked, the words transferring to Kairi.

Riku brought an arm to rest around Kairi's shoulders, while his other hand went up to ruffle Sora's spiky hair. His parents may have given him hugs in the past, but he remembered telling them to stop when he was no older than ten, because he didn't think it would help him be stronger as a person. He was wrong; family was what made you stronger, just like the family he had with his two best friends. His "siblings".

Kairi laughed softly at the words she heard from Sora, though it could have been mistaken for gleeful chuckles. "I think you may be right," she replied softly through her heart. Riku was kind of...awkward. "I'll work on it."

  • Author
A chuckle left Sora's lips, both at Kairi's words and Riku ruffling his hair. "He's gonna kill me if he finds out I'm the one who suggested that," he told Kairi. Because in order for Riku to give better hugs, he would have to practice. And that would make him look soft, and that in turn would make him uncomfortable. If he found out Sora was responsible for starting that cycle, well, he wouldn't be happy.
Kairi glanced at Sora before she leaned her head against Riku's torso, rubbing a hand over his back. "I won't tell him," she assured the boy she loved, looking from Riku to him. "But I'm sure he's a big softie at heart."

Sora looked up from the ground, catching Kairi's eye. He smiled and nodded slightly, agreeing. Riku had shown his soft side to others before, though not to Sora too often. He knew it existed, somewhere.

Riku saw Sora nod, and felt it too, since his hand was still on top of his friend's spiky hair. "...Am I missing something?" he asked skeptically, looking from Sora to the girl hugging his side.

Kairi looked up at Riku and smiled. "Don't worry about it," she encouraged softly. He would just be flustered if he found out.

  • Author
"Yeah, it's nothing," Sora agreed, though he was still smiling. He had forgotten that Riku would catch onto that nod...Whoops. But oh well, hopefully he wouldn't pursue this topic.
Riku arched an eyebrow and looked down to Kairi, but then he sighed, closing his eyes. "You two and your secrets," he said with a shake of his head. "You're like little kids."
  • Author
Sora looked up at Riku, arching a brow. "You're the one who decided to hang out with us 'little kids'," he pointed out smoothly. He and Kairi were the same age, but Riku was a year older. He could hang out with other kids his age if he wanted to.

Riku opened his eyes and smirked. "I'll tell you why," he said, a teasing tone in his voice. "I thought you saps could have somebody to look up to. Someone with real strength." He ruffled Sora's hair as he heard Kairi gasp.

"Hey!" Kairi said in protest, looking up at her older friend with wide eyes. That wasn't very nice!

  • Author
Sora furrowed his eyebrows slightly at the comment, but by Riku's facial expression and the hair-ruffling, Sora could tell he wasn't serious. But still, that sort of touched a nerve. Sora always was trying to be strong like him...But he wouldn't say it aloud. "Tell yourself what you want," he said as a smirk started appearing on his face. "Truth is, you love us, Riku."
