Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

There has to be some other way, Aqua thought, looking at her best friend. I can't leave Ventus like this...not any longer. She promised him she would come back to wake him up, and with Terra by her side. They still had to find him, but she also wanted to wake Ventus up as soon as possible. But what other way was there?

Sora shut his eyes, a memory of Ven's hitting him. This was the first time he directly saw one of Ventus's memories, but he knew that Ven's heart was revealing something to him now that was important. He saw Xehanort coming up to a wounded Ven and rolling him over onto his back when he was unable to move or protest. And then...Xehanort pointed the tip of his Keyblade at Ven's heart and released the Dark side of Ven's heart...Vanitas.
As for Terra... Aqua didn't even know where to start looking. The last place she had seen him was Radiant Garden, but...it wasn't there anymore, was it? So where could she look now?

Is...Xehanort still alive? Sora asked Ventus's heart, his eyes remaining shut. The warmth he felt afterward was enough to give him his answer: Yes. And Xehanort could extract a heart without killing a person. But of course, he was capable of doing more than just that. He was a threat, and he needed to be defeated.
"...What should we do?" Aqua asked softly, lifting her hands to her heart again. There was so much left unfinished, and now that they knew Ven's heart was in Sora's, there wasn't any way to release it. Was her friend doomed to sleep here forever?

"I don't know," Sora answered, shaking his head and opening his eyes. "But we've got another problem to face before taking care of him." He paused for only a brief moment, looking to Riku and Aqua. "Ven thinks Xehanort is still alive." His heart had been positive on that, and he knew in his gut that Xehanort was still a threat as well.
Aqua's eyes didn't widen. Instead, they narrowed in distaste. She should have somehow figured that, but did that mean Terra was still alive as well? Or did something happen to him?

"Do you know where he would be?" Sora asked, focusing his attention on Aqua. She knew Xehanort better than he or Riku did; they had only encountered his Heartless and his Nobody. Was his real person even more evil and cunning than his other two versions?
"Master Xehanort was obsessed with what happened at the Keyblade Graveyard," Aqua said, remembering what he said of the Keyblade War. "My guess is that he's there." If he wasn't there, he could be on any world. They would have to track him down.

Sora glanced at Riku before he looked back to Aqua. "We've never been there," he said. In fact, he hadn't even heard of it before. A Keyblade graveyard? What was that? That was just one of many questions present right now, one that he hoped to get an answer to eventually, whether Aqua told him about it or she showed them.

"Mm," Aqua hummed softly, nodding as well. "I'll take you there. I'm afraid you'll have to see it for yourselves." All of those Keyblades, those fallen Masters. It was an awful sight, but they would have to witness it with their own eyes.

Riku nodded once. In that case, they should go right away. The sooner they got to the bottom of things, the better.

Sora nodded slightly at that. "Let's go, then," he said, curious and concerned at the same time. If Xehanort was really there, then they would have a battle to fight. Was Aqua prepared for that?
Aqua nodded once in understanding, but she immediately turned her attention to Ven. She leaned down a little and lightly set a hand on the top of his head, running it over his spiky hair. I'll be back for you soon, she promised silently. She wouldn't break that promise, not like the last one.

Sora glanced at Aqua and Ventus, but then he turned around and started walking, giving the two of them space. He knew that this battle wasn't just about finding the Keybladers anymore; they needed to defeat Xehanort. It was a wonder to him that Xehanort would still exist, but he would look into that later.
Riku turned around after Sora's lead, walking a step behind his friend. However, after a moment, he thought of something. "Sora," he said softly, far enough away from Aqua that she couldn't hear. They were forgetting something.

Sora glanced over at Riku, hearing his friend speak his name. "Hm?" he hummed softly, wondering what Riku had to say. Was something the matter other than all the obvious things they had just discussed?
"Before we confront Xehanort, we need to give Aqua back her Keyblade," Riku said. She didn't have one on her as of now, which showed when she used Sora's Keyblade to unlock the Chamber. It would be best that they got her stuff back to her, that way she would be able to protect herself in case things got dangerous.

"Mm," Sora said with a nod, shifting his gaze forward again. "We'll stop at Hollow Bastion then." That was their only solution as far as he saw it. And besides, perhaps she would want her armor back as well. Surely this fight wouldn't be an easy one.
Riku nodded and continued to walk. From what he got out of Aqua's reactions, Xehanort was nothing but evil. Not that it was much of a surprise. But that meant they would really need to be careful, and cautious.
  • Author
"...How's Xehanort even alive, anyway?" Sora asked Riku in a hushed tone, figuring that he might as well ask his question aloud. Riku normally didn't make fun of him for asking what could have been a dumb question when they were focused on a mission, so he wasn't afraid of any teasing or taunting right now.
Riku stared at the ground, furrowing his eyebrows. "I'm not sure," he admitted lowly, his tone showing his seriousness, and his wonder. "You think the King might know?" That was his best guess, since King Mickey was really knowledgeable over things having to do with the past.
  • Author
"Maybe," Sora said softly with a shrug. "Or maybe Aqua." She faced Xehanort in the past, so maybe she knew more about the man and his powers than they did. But if none of them could figure it out, maybe they could ask Xehanort himself; villains were always proud when they managed to live despite people's assumptions that they were dead. Maybe he would spill the beans on how he was still alive.
Riku nodded slightly, but didn't say anything more. They would find the answer eventually, whether they discovered it or were told. Until then, they would just have to be patient.

They had been walking for a while when a new thought entered Sora's mind: Kairi. She wasn't going to be happy to find out that this was more than just a search mission now. She wouldn't know about the Xehanort fight until it was done, but she would probably be upset because of how dangerous that battle was. But Sora had faith that he, Riku, and Aqua could come out victorious. That was their only choice.
Aqua stopped at the door, hesitating as she turned back to her sleeping friend. She stared at him for a moment, and then she finally closed the door to the Chamber. Even if he was sleeping in there, he was still living through Sora. But there had to be some way to wake Ven truly, and Aqua hoped they could figure it out. She didn't want her best friend sleeping for much longer.
