A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Namine managed to get away from Roxas, the girl scooting over on the couch so that he wouldn't be able to rest on her again. She loved being near him, but she really had been uncomfortable. She exhaled a soft breath, relieved that he was still asleep.

Kairi smiled faintly at the sight before her, seeing the look of relief on Namine's face and the peaceful one on Roxas's. She turned her head then to look at the boy she was sitting next to, her eyes finding him immediately. Kairi was glad Sora was getting his rest as well, and Riku, and everyone else. They all needed it after such a difficult journey.

Namine shifted her gaze to Kairi after looking over everyone in the room. "Why are they all so tired?" she whispered, having never been filled in on everything that happened.

"They had a hard few days," Kairi replied softly, unaware that Roxas hadn't told Namine of what happened to the islands or about the Organization. Her gaze remained on the boy she loved, the girl lifting a hand and lightly brushing his bangs out of his face.

A hard few days? Namine thought in confusion. She didn't remember much happening, except a little drama with Chris. But that didn't explain why Terra, Aqua, and Ven were so tired. "What do you mean?" she asked softly.

Kairi lowered her hand away from Sora's face, looking over to Namine in puzzlement. "...You don't know?" she asked softly. Roxas hadn't told her?

Namine tilted her head in confusion. "No..." she said cautiously. "What?" What was it that she didn't know? Did it have something to do with what Roxas referred to when he first saw her?

"Um..." Kairi pressed her lips together, glancing down at the ground. This would be difficult. The girl tried to think back to how Sora told her, and what all happened. "...Did Roxas act any different when he saw you today?" Sora did that with her. She would start there.

"...Yes," Namine said with some hesitance, question also in her voice. "He acted like he hadn't seen me in a few days." But she knew that couldn't be true...She had just seen him yesterday.

"That was the way Sora acted too," Kairi said quietly, starting to explain. "Namine, the reason behind their strange behavior is awful. Would...you rather have Roxas tell you?" She wasn't sure if should or not, given the circumstances. "It's really hard to accept. Well, at least for me it was..."

"...Roxas didn't tell me anything earlier," Namine said after a few moments of thought. "I don't think he ever plans to tell me what's going on..." So that meant that Kairi would have to fill her in. Or Riku or another close friend if they happened to wake up in time to interrupt Kairi.

Kairi bit her lip and nodded a little. "Okay," she said softly. "Well, the night of the carnival, do you remember anything about the storm that hit?" That was where she needed to start.

"...No?" Namine said, confused already. What storm? She didn't remember anything about that, or even being at the carnival.

Kairi looked over at Riku, seeing him stir. Shoot, she forgot he was a light sleeper. "Come with me," Kairi suggested very quietly. She planned to go into the next room over, so they wouldn't disturb anyone.

Namine glanced over at Riku, seeing him stir. But then she lightly set her hands on the couch and pushed herself up quietly. Would it be better for Riku to explain things anyway? She didn't know what she was getting herself into here...

Kairi slowly pushed herself up from her spot, taking careful steps past Sora and starting to go by Riku. But that was when she heard a voice.

 

"Kairi," Riku said, lifting his head off the cushion of the couch. He knew she was there; he could sense her Light. But he also had heard her voice.

Namine stopped a few steps away from her original place, biting her lip when she heard Riku speak and saw him move. They woke him up. Sorry...

Kairi bent down next to her best friend, eye-level with him. "Go back to sleep, Riku. I'm just going to talk to Namine," she said softly. He probably didn't want to discuss what she was about to explain.

 

"About what?" Riku asked, rubbing at his tired eyes with his knuckles. He would be nosy, since she woke him up with her blabbering. Of course, he would only do it to taunt her, because he was goofy like that sometimes.

Namine looked at the two of them before she looked down towards the ground, hearing a bit of teasing in Riku's voice. But Kairi still seemed serious...What did she have to tell Namine? What didn't she know...?

Kairi furrowed her eyebrows a little, but not in a good way. "About what happened with all of you," she said, motioning to the rest of her friends. "But...I don't know if I'm the right person to tell it to her," she admitted quietly.

 

Riku yawned and nodded. "In that case, I'll come with you. I'll be able to answer more questions if there are any," he said. He saw Kairi respond with a weak smile and he pushed himself up from the floor, stretching.

Namine felt more confused with the small conversation she heard between her two friends. What in the world was going on here?

Riku looked at the only blonde, and he instantly felt awful for doing this to her. He saw how Kairi looked after hearing everything, and he had a feeling Namine's reaction would be the same. "C'mon, Namine," he encouraged softly, motioning for her and Kairi to follow him to the dining room just across the hall.

Namine looked to Riku and nodded slightly, walking forward so that she could follow her friends to another room. Whatever was going on, she would be finding out soon.

Kairi followed Riku to the dining room on the opposite side of the hall, that way they weren't disturbing anyone that was trying to get their rest, or Sora's parents. She sat down in one of the chairs on one side of the table, while Riku was on the other.

 

Riku motioned for Namine to sit across from him, next to Kairi. He wasn't sure how she would take this, but she deserved to know. He was actually surprised that Roxas hadn't said anything.

Namine noticed Riku's hand motion, and she felt nervous that he was going to face her during this talk. This really was serious, wasn't it? She silently approached the chair and sat down next to Kairi, her eyes going to Riku after that.
