Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku leaned against his arms on the table, his eyes going to Kairi first. "What'd you tell her?" he asked, not wanting to repeat what was already said.

"I mentioned the storm interrupting the carnival. But, like me, she didn't really remember," Kairi said, looking at Namine with soft eyes.

Riku nodded a little. Okay, then he would just explain what happened after that. There was a lot to tell, and he hoped Namine was ready for it.

Namine felt confused at what Riku and Kairi were saying, but she didn't question it. Those two would surely start filling her in soon enough; she just had to be patient.
Riku looked to Namine then, and he quietly started to explain everything that happened that evening. He told her about the storm that interrupted the carnival for the day, and that it was a Darkness attack that summoned Heartless. From there, he explained the Organization's return and the mess that he, Sora, Roxas, and the others had to undergo to finally defeat the Organization. He explained Axel and his help, as well as the weapon that was created from Sora's heart; the X-blade.

Namine looked down at the table now as Riku finished explaining, in stunned silence. This...is crazy, she thought. This couldn't have happened...And Roxas didn't tell her? How could he keep this from her?

Kairi glanced at Riku with worried eyes, since Namine was so quiet. But, that was to be expected; everything that happened was pretty hard to comprehend so quickly. She then looked back to Namine. "We were...asleep the whole time, in Darkness," Kairi told her friend softly, seeing Riku nod a little from the corner of her eye.

"You weren't suffering," Riku added quietly. "I can't tell you how grateful I am for that." If those two, or his family and the other residents of the Islands, had been suffering while in Darkness...he wasn't sure what he would do, or think. He just knew it would be awful to have as reality.

Namine nodded slightly, recognizing what her friends were saying. So...a storm hit, one that she could barely remember, and then she and Kairi and all the other residents of Destiny Islands fell asleep until the Darkness was lifted? Wow...
Kairi let her gaze flicker from Riku to her best friend. She lightly set a hand on her shoulder, tilting her head. Was Namine okay after hearing everything, or did she have some concerns?

Namine looked over at Kairi, seeing that her friend was concerned. But she was alright, it was just...a lot to take in. "...Why wouldn't Roxas tell me this?" she asked softly, looking at the table now. This was important stuff, and he hadn't told her any of it.
Riku shrugged. "My guess is that he didn't think it was the right time," he said, speaking his thoughts. "Maybe he just wanted to be with you, after everything." Roxas was awfully worried about Namine...a lot. It had been too easy to identify when they were all away.

"But...this was too important to keep hidden from me," Namine said, lightly shaking her head as she looked up to Riku. Her friends nearly died out there...How could he not share something so significant? She had the right to know, no matter how bad it was.
Riku opened his mouth to speak, but he couldn't really think of anything to say in response. He lifted a hand and scratched his cheek, looking to the table. Well...Riku couldn't really help Roxas on this one.

"...He should have told me," Namine said after a few moments of silence. She shouldn't have found out about it this way, from Kairi and Riku.
Kairi took her hand back from Namine's shoulder. "I'm sorry," she said quietly. She didn't really know how else to respond, but Namine was right; Roxas should have been the one to tell her...not her and Riku.

Namine nodded slightly, looking down at the table. "I guess I'll have to talk to him about it later," she said softly. She needed to talk to him after all that happened...and give him a tighter hug. Even if she was a little angry at him for not informing her about what happened, she was more scared that she almost lost him.
Riku nodded. He was about to tell Namine that she shouldn't do it when everyone else was around...and when Roxas was sleeping, but that was obviously a no-brainer. He wasn't going to waste his breath.

Namine lifted a hand and tucked back a strand of hair, holding back moisture in her eyes. How could he not tell her this?! Things had been so dangerous and scary and she had been clueless...Now she understood why he hugged her so tightly before.
Riku saw the look on Namine's face, and he glanced at Kairi. "Namine, do you need a minute?" he asked softly, his voice gentle with her. She looked a little down, and he didn't really feel surprised over it.
  • Author
"No, uh..." Namine started, looking up before she glanced over towards the front of the house. "I'm actually going to go for a walk." That would help clear her head, and she would have more privacy.
Kairi nodded a little. "If Roxas wakes up while you're gone, I'll tell him you went out," she assured her best friend. She didn't know if Namine would be back or not, so Roxas would have to make the decision to wait for her or go after her.

Namine looked over at her best friend, nodding slightly. "Thanks," she said with a weak smile of appreciation. She didn't know if she was coming back or not, so she was glad Roxas would at least know she went out.
Kairi smiled a little and nodded. It was no big deal; she would help any way she could.

Namine looked over at Riku with the same weak smile as she set her hands on the table and pushed herself up to her feet. "See you guys later," she said softly. She didn't know when "later" was, but she'd see them again soon.
Riku waved slightly with his hand, watching Namine go. He understood why Roxas didn't tell Namine at first, since he was probably happy to see her when he got home, but she shouldn't have found out from Riku and Kairi. Roxas should have been the one to tell her.

Namine passed through the living room full of sleeping people as she went for the door. She set a hand on the knob and softly let herself out, closing the door behind her and feeling grateful she still had her shoes on.
Aqua didn't stir as she slept in the living room, her head still resting against Terra's shoulder. She was out like a light, finally resting after so much chaos.
