Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

A while later, Namine was still out on her walk. Only, she wasn't walking now, sitting in the sand by the beach. She had walked home and gotten a heavier coat because it was really cold out, but then she settled down in one place. She stared at the ocean, thinking over everything and wondering if Roxas knew that she heard everything that happened yet.
Roxas woke up not too long after Namine left, having felt like something was missing. It was her, of course. He showered and dressed warmly before leaving his friends at Sora's house, having heard from Kairi that Namine had gone out while he was sleeping. He had on jeans, his sneakers, and a sweatshirt now, so the weather didn't bother him. Roxas was just focused on finding Namine.

How could I have been so oblivious? Namine thought. Roxas had been acting strangely when he came home, but she had disregarded it. She should have been more persistent in asking him what was wrong! Why didn't she sense something was off?
Roxas had his hands in his pockets to keep them from the chilly weather, the boy checking the beach first; it seemed like the most reasonable place to find Namine. And he did. He saw her not too far away, starting toward her wordlessly.

Namine felt like such an idiot for not asking him what was up. She was so clueless to everything that happened. And it was all so bad...It made her sad thinking about it now, knowing what happened to all her close friends.
"There you are," Roxas called as he approached the girl he loved. A small smile was on his lips at the sight of her, happy to see her again. She hadn't been there when he'd woken up.

Namine blinked at the voice, surprised. She turned her head and saw Roxas coming over, and with a small smile on his face. She smiled weakly in return, turning her body a little to face him. "Here I am," she said, not knowing what else to say.
"I woke up and you were gone," Roxas said, sitting himself down next to her. "Kairi said you left. How long have you been out?" He set his elbows on his knees and linked his hands together, his blue eyes on the girl he loved.
  • Author
"Um, a little while," Namine said softly, glancing at Roxas before she looked to the ground.
Roxas's light smile faded away as he looked at Namine. That small stutter at the beginning of her speech was enough to tell him something was wrong. He loved her, so he knew her better than most...or he at least liked to think so. "...Is everything all right?" he asked softly. She looked...distressed.

Namine kept her eyes down, deciding then that she didn't want to yell at Roxas for keeping a secret from her. He didn't need that from her, after everything. "Everything's fine," she lied softly. But the fact that she didn't look in his eyes probably gave away the fact that she was lying.
Roxas lifted his eyebrows at the lie, knowing instantly that Namine was speaking this way for his own benefit. "...That's not the truth, is it?" he asked softly. She was lying to him...but why?
  • Author
"...No," Namine confessed, Roxas catching her in her lie. She wasn't really surprised; she as a bad liar to start with, and Roxas knew her very well. But what else was she supposed to say? She couldn't just come out and say she knew what happened...
Roxas's eyes were soft as they gazed at the girl he loved, his expression one of curiosity and concern mixed in, as well as sadness. Why would she lie to his face like that? She usually only did that when something was really wrong, but he couldn't think of a thing.
  • Author
Namine didn't have much other choice but to be forward about it; she knew that lying hurt Roxas's feelings, even if she meant to do it to help him. "Riku and Kairi filled me in on everything," she said softly, looking down at her feet on the sand.
Roxas blinked at that. "T-they did?" he asked softly. He was planning to tell her later...but he guessed they beat him to it. Whoops.
  • Author
"Yeah," Namine said softly, also nodding faintly. She was sure that they told her everything; Riku wasn't one to leave out important details just to protect her feelings. In a way, she was glad for that.
"...About everything?" Roxas asked quietly. As in, the X-blade and his capture, and the brutality of his death threat? Namine didn't need to hear those things...
  • Author
"I don't think they left out any details," Namine said softly. "So yes, everything." Like she had just been thinking a little while ago, Riku wouldn't leave out important details to "protect" her.
Roxas turned his head to look at the ocean, a soft sigh leaving him. That wasn't good... Knowing Riku, he probably didn't hold back with how dark it had been, since the guy was pretty honest.
  • Author
"...I wish you would have told me," Namine said softly, hearing Roxas's sigh. She was appreciative of Riku's honesty, but Roxas really should have been the one to fill her in.
"I was going to," Roxas said, defending himself. "I just...didn't find the right time." Everything had been awful, and telling her such a thing wouldn't be good the first day he saw her after it all. At least, that was how he saw it.
  • Author
"Mm," Namine hummed, not knowing what to say. She was actually a bit surprised; she had gotten the impression before that he wasn't planning on telling her.
"Sorry..." Roxas apologized pathetically. He had just been hesitant about it because, well, it seemed to dark to tell to such a beautiful person. Especially about how he was nearly sent to his own death without defense. Thankfully Sora changed that.
  • Author
Namine wordlessly scooted over closer to Roxas, wrapping her arms around his that was closest to her. "I'm just glad you're alright," she said softly. She had been mad before, but now she was just grateful all her friends came back alive and unscathed.
