A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Namine was putting on her coat, which she had hung at the front door a while ago. She finished buttoning it up and then looked to Kairi, nodding slightly to say that she was ready to go.

"See you guys tomorrow," Kairi called, waving at the people left in the room. She grabbed her coat and slipped it on, then left the home through the front door.

Namine waved as well, seeing Sora wave back. Terra, Ven, and Aqua had left a little while ago, so only the three boys she was closest to remained now. But Riku would probably go to his own home sometime soon. The blonde went through the door after Kairi, shutting the door behind her as they went for home.

Roxas saw Namine disappear out the door, and then he leaned his head back on the couch, sighing. He was exhausted from today's events, and he could definitely use a good night's sleep. And he knew he would, and then tomorrow, he would see Namine. Things would return to normal again.

A few days later...

 

Everyone was gathered outside of Kairi's house, dressed in very warm clothes and having a blast. It had snowed the past day or two, and now they were all having a snowball fight. Well, everyone but Roxas and Namine. Namine had been sick the past few days, so she was inside resting. And Roxas was with her; he was with her practically all the time. It was understandable, since Sora hardly separated himself from Kairi these days. It had been so long since they were together happily, and he was sure Roxas was thinking the same thing with Namine. Sora hoped she got well soon; he knew she loved playing in the snow.

Roxas was crouched at Namine's bedside, lightly running his fingers through her blonde hair. His other hand helped him keep himself from falling over, gripping the edge of the bed. He was so worried about her... Ever since that day they talked on the beach, she had been feeling ill. Her skin was cold and clammy, and all she could do was rest all day. It was awful...seeing her like this.

Namine felt the hand running through her hair, a feeling that wasn't foreign to her the past few days. Roxas spent a lot of time with her even though she couldn't do anything, and she felt bad for keeping him with her when he could be having fun with everyone else. She heard them laughing outside her window, and she wished at least Roxas would join them and have fun.

The last few days, Roxas had been sure to keep by Namine's side. He didn't want to leave her when she was like this, or to have her be alone. He wanted to be with her, even if she wasn't feeling her best. He tended to her when she needed something because he loved her, and because he wanted to do whatever he could to help her feel better. She looked miserable.

Namine opened her closed eyes, turning her head on the pillow and looking over at the boy crouched by her bed. "Hey," she greeted softly, immediately noticing the worry in his bright blue eyes.

Roxas smiled weakly at the sight of the blue eyes he adored. "Hi," he greeted quietly. Namine still looked like she felt awful, even after sleep. That was how it had been lately, even if rest was supposed to do her good.

Namine kept her eyes on Roxas's, not really knowing what to say. She knew that in a moment or two he would ask how she was feeling, and she would sadly say that she felt worse than before.

"Did you get enough sleep for now?" Roxas asked, continuing to run his hands through her long hair. He had been up here for a few hours, not that he minded. Namine was the love of his life; he would do what he could to make sure she was comfortable and alright.

"Yeah," Namine responded softly. She really wasn't that tired, just weak. This was worse than any cold she had before, and it had come out of nowhere. Even if the heater was on in the house, she was still cold, which was why she had blankets over her and long sleeves on.

"Did it help?" Roxas asked, tilting his head to the side. She still looked...awful. Namine looked like she was having a hard time even talking to him.

Namine shook her head a little against the pillow, knowing that Roxas would be able to tell if she was lying. And besides, she didn't have the energy to lie. "No," she said softly. Sleeping didn't help at all.

Roxas's eyes softened, and he moved his hand to brush against Namine's forehead. Her skin was hot there, but her cheeks were colder, clammy. "I'm sorry, baby..."

"It's okay," Namine said softly, feeling Roxas's skin against hers. She wanted to shut her eyes in comfort because of the feelings it always sparked, but she kept her eyes open so that she could see the person she loved.

Roxas shook his head. It wasn't okay, and she knew it wasn't. Namine was ill, and this was the worst it had ever been before. It was heartbreaking to see.

Namine moved her hand to the pillow in front of her face, seeing Roxas's motion and now gazing at her hand because of it. It wasn't alright, but what else was she supposed to say?

"What hurts?" Roxas asked quietly. He didn't really want to know, but at the same time, he needed to. He wanted to help any way he could.

"My head, a little," Namine said softly. She was mostly just weak; she wasn't hurting. She was uncomfortable all over, but the most extreme thing was the small headache that she had.

"I'll go get you some medicine," Roxas said with a nod. "It's about time you took some more anyway." The last time she'd taken some was this morning, and it was just after noon now. Namine needed the medication.

"'Kay," Namine said softly. She had been taking medicine practically every time she woke up since she slept away most days, so Roxas's suggestion was nothing new to her.

Roxas smiled weakly, and only briefly, before he forced himself to stand. He tore his eyes away from Namine and left her room, going to get her the medicine she needed.

Namine shut her eyes when Roxas was out of the room, a soft breath leaving her lips. Why did she feel so terrible? She knew that she got sick easily, but still, it had never been this bad. She was just glad she hadn't gotten Roxas sick yet...At this rate, it seemed like he wouldn't be catching this cold from her.
