Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

It didn't take Roxas long to get the medicine Namine had to have, though he hated to give it to her, since it was syrup. He thought that was ten times worse than pills, but it needed to be done. She had a glass of water on her bedside table anyway.

Namine kept her eyes shut in weakness, just thinking. This cold couldn't last forever; she'd get over it soon, and maybe then she could go and play in the snow with her other friends.
Roxas entered Namine's room and started toward her bed, holding the small container of medicine. He felt awful that he had to give her this stuff, but she needed it. Badly.

Namine heard Roxas's footsteps as he approached the bed, and she forced her eyes open to see him. She had the medicine before and it was really disgusting, but she knew that it was strong and it was meant to help her. But so far, it hadn't done much other than make her gag.
Roxas gave Namine an apologetic look as he held the medicine out to her, knowing that she didn't like this stuff. But she had to take it to get better. In the end, it would be worth it.

Namine changed her position a little, setting her hands on the bed so she could push herself up. She got maybe an inch off the bed before she stopped, surprised that she was too weak to sit herself up.
Roxas blinked, and his expression broke into one of deep concern. Namine... He wasn't sure what to think on top of that...
  • Author
...Namine didn't want to ask Roxas this, but she really didn't have much of a choice. "Could you help me sit up?" she asked softly, looking at him and seeing the concern written on his expression.
"...Y-yeah," Roxas replied, lifting his free hand and scratching the back of his head. He set the medicine on the table beside Namine's bed and then stepped closer to her. He put his hands under her arms and was careful as he started to lift her up a little bit, that way she could sit up for a few minutes.

Namine was practically lifted upright by Roxas, not really putting any work into sitting up. But she sat up against the pillows and the headboard, staying upright then.
Roxas let go of Namine, his eyes finding her while he was close. She was that weak? This was worse than he thought... The boy turned his attention the medicine he had yet to give her and he grabbed it, holding it out for her to take.

Namine lifted a hand and gently took the medicine out of Roxas's grasp, able to handle this task. She lifted it to her lips and tipped the small cup, swallowing the first bit and furrowing her eyebrows ever so slightly at the taste.
Roxas bit his lip as he watched Namine's expression. Yeah, it obviously wasn't good, and he could imagine how awful it tasted. Regardless, he reached for the glass of water he brought her earlier, ready to hand it to her when she finished the medicine.

Namine finished the disgusting medicine and then looked over to see Roxas holding out a glass of water. She wasn't surprised; she was used to taking medicine and drinking water after since she had taken so much medicine lately. She pushed away the thought, reaching up with her other hand and lightly taking the water from his grasp.
Once he was no longer holding the water, Roxas sat down next to the girl he loved. He faced her as he sat down on the edge of her bed, one hand on the other side of her legs to support himself.

Namine drank a little bit of the water, though it didn't wash away the taste completely. But it helped a little, so that was good. She pulled it away from her lips and set it on the endtable that she could reach, also setting down the small cup she used for the medicine.
"That should start to work in about twenty minutes," Roxas said softly, but he was sure Namine already knew that. She'd taken the same medicine over and over again since she got sick.
  • Author
"Thanks," Namine said softly, lifting her eyes and looking at the boy who sat on the edge of her bed. She was saying thanks for a lot of things, not just the medicine. And Roxas probably knew that. He was taking care of her, and even if she wasn't getting better, she appreciated it.
Roxas offered Namine a small smile. He knew what she was referring to, and he didn't have any problem taking care of her. It was what he was here for.

Namine smiled weakly back at Roxas, but then she heard laughter outside. She turned her head and looked towards the window, knowing all her friends were outside. She may not have been able to go play, but Roxas should have some fun with everyone in the snow...
Roxas heard the same laughter Namine did, and he looked toward the window too. He knew his friends were outside having snowball fights and stuff, and he wished he could be out there...but with Namine too. But she didn't need to get any more ill, so he would stay in here with her.

Namine looked back over at Roxas, seeing him looking at the window. "You should go have fun," she suggested softly. He had been cooped inside for days; he deserved to go enjoy himself.
Roxas turned his head back to look at Namine at the words, and he didn't agree. "I want to be with you," he answered honestly. He didn't want her in here by herself.
  • Author
"You can be with me later," Namine assured him with a soft smile. "I'm not going anywhere." She was probably just going to lay around and sleep the rest of the day away anyway; Roxas didn't need to be with her for that.
Roxas's eyes were soft with question and concern. "Are you sure?" he asked softly. He really didn't have to go...
