Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"That's good," Namine said with a faint nod. "You guys have been out for a while." At least, that was what she was assuming; she had been asleep for a little while, but she hadn't heard anybody come inside. They had been playing in the snow for a long time, since it hardly ever snowed on Destiny Islands.
"Yeah... So don't wait up, okay?" Roxas asked of Namine softly. He didn't want her sitting outside anymore than she already had.

Namine heard Sora say something about going inside, and being Roxas, she could see a few people coming over towards her and the house now. "Okay," she said with a faint nod, focusing on Roxas again. She'd go inside soon.
Roxas nodded once. "I'll be back in a little bit," he said. He waved a little and took a few steps back before he started off toward home. He couldn't wait to get warmer...

Namine waved back at him, smiling weakly before she glanced at the people walking past her. It seemed like everyone was going in, so she'd just go in last instead of cutting in the line they had formed.
It didn't take Roxas long to reach the house, though it was long enough. He was freezing by the time he got there. He took a warm shower really fast before putting on some dry jeans and a long-sleeved shirt. It was then that he started back to Kairi and Namine's, knowing that everyone else was still there.

Namine sat on a couch in the living room with the rest of her friends, having not gone up to bed when she got inside. She did keep her arms wrapped around her torso once her coat was off, though, since she was cold. And she was tired too, but she was entertained by whatever game it was her friends were playing.
Kairi held some cards in her hand as she and the others sat around in a a circle on the floor, in front of the fire. They were currently playing a card game, though it was quite amusing whenever somebody tried cheating...or just was flat-out funny.

Sora looked through his cards, a soft sigh leaving his lips. He couldn't win this. He was doing terribly at this game, which showed by all the cards that he held in his hand. But at least he wasn't doing as badly as Riku.

Riku saw that it was his turn and he shuffled through the handfull of cards he had in his grasp. So he had to find as many fours as he had to? At this rate, he was sure he had all of them. "Okay..." he said, pulling them all out of his hand and setting them face-down on the floor. "Four fours."

Aqua didn't call a bluff on Riku's cards, since she didn't doubt that he had them all. So she went ahead and put down the only five card that she had. "One five."

"Two sixes," Ven said, setting down two of the cards that he had.

"One seven," Terra said, setting down the only seven he had. He had done it quickly but casually so nobody would call Ven's bluff, not that anybody else knew he was lying. Terra had three sixes, though, but he didn't call the bluff because he and Ven were secretly working together.

"One eight," Sora said, setting down the only eight that he had.

Kairi smiled a little. "One nine," she said, laying the card down. Of course, she had one other of the same card, that way when the number came back up, she could call the person's bluff.

Riku searched through his cards for tens, and he finally found two of them. "Two tens," he said, setting them down. This was getting ridiculous...

Terra didn't bother challenging Riku, knowing that he probably did have two tens. But then he looked down at his own set of cards and saw that he had three of them. The tens and the sixes were the only things he had left. "Bull," he said, lifting his eyes to Riku before Aqua could go.

Riku glanced at Terra out of the corner of his eye, but then he looked to see that Kairi was giving him a look. Yeah, he just got caught. The older boy sighed and leaned back, now lying on his back as he let his cards lay flat on his stomach. "That's it. I quit," he announced. There was no way he was going to win anyway.

Aqua chuckled. "Riku, you can't quit. We're in the middle of the game," she said. They needed him to keep playing. What would they do with his cards? They needed them, but there would be no place to put them if Riku stopped playing.

  • Author
Namine smiled from her spot on the couch, seeing that Riku really did look prepared to quit. But like Aqua said, they needed him in the game. Unless somebody took his place, but there was nobody here to do that. Namine didn't feel up to playing. If Roxas was back, maybe he would take Riku's place.

"Are you guys just trying to torture me?" Riku asked, his tone holding bitterness and expectance; he was expecting them to say yes. "I'm holding half the deck!"

Roxas heard a voice from the living room, the boy having made it to Kairi's and just walked through the front door. It sounded like Riku...and it sounded like he was talking about cards. Weird.

"We can't help it if you're bad at the game, Riku," Sora said, giving his best friend a look from his place in the circle. So he would have to suck it up and deal with it.
Riku sat up, making sure to grab his pack of cards as he sent a glare Sora's way. "I figured I would be a little better at wearing my 'poker face'. Guess not," he said, lowering his glare to his cards as he fanned them out in his grasp.
  • Author
"Yeah, well, I bet Kairi's glad that you're a bad liar," Sora said, flashing Kairi a smile and not noticing that Roxas had come into the house. Kairi always did expect honesty out of him and Riku.

Kairi looked to Sora and smiled involuntarily, nodding a little. Riku may have been a bad liar, but that was good in a lot of ways. "Sorry, Riku," she said, her eyes going to him as she looked at him sweetly.

Riku rolled his eyes, though he smiled a little. "Whatever. Let's just get this over with," he said, reaching to grab the small pile of cards in the middle of the circle.

Roxas had already slipped off his shoes and walked down the hall a little until he reached the main family room. That was where he stopped, in the doorway as he saw that his friends were all on the floor and Namine was on the couch alone. Well, this should have been expected.

  • Author
"Alright, where did we leave off?" Terra asked. It was ten, right? That made sense, considering he had just thought a few minutes ago about how he only had tens and sixes.
"Tens. You've got Jacks, Terra," Kairi said with a nod to the man across the circle from her. She held her own cards in her hands, though they were very few compared to Riku's hand.
  • Author
"One Jack," Terra said, placing his card in the middle of the circle. He saw Sora go next, the brunet setting down one card and calling it a Queen. Terra didn't bother protesting, knowing that Sora probably wasn't going to win this game. It was really between him, Ven, Kairi, and Aqua.

Aqua smiled. Queens. Perfect. "Two queens," she said. She only had four cards left now.

Roxas walked to the back of the couch, leaning his arms on it as he looked at the group. "How long has this been going on?" he asked, directing the question to Namine.

  • Author
Namine looked over her shoulder, seeing that Roxas was now here. "A while," she said with a faint nod. They had basically been playing this game since everyone came inside.
