Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Water please," Aqua said with a kind smile. She was all cuddled up on one side of the couch; she would hate to get up. That was why she was glad Sora asked.

Riku pushed himself up from the ground then. He didn't want anything, but he did need to go talk to Roxas. He would just let his friends assume he was in the bathroom, or talking to Roxas. Whichever worked.

"'Kay," Sora said with a nod, turning around and starting for the kitchen. Kairi hadn't said anything, so he assumed that she didn't want water. And Riku just got up, so he obviously didn't want anything. So, he would just get three bottles.
Riku stretched and walked out of the living room, though he went a different route than Sora took. Instead, he headed for the stairs and climbed them, sure that Roxas already had Namine in her room.

Sora entered the kitchen and opened the fridge, seeing that Kairi had a lot of bottles in there. He smiled weakly in thankfulness and pulled out three, easily able to hold them all in his grasp.

Roxas was just tucking the blankets around Namine when he heard footsteps, and he looked over his shoulder to the door. "Riku?" he said softly. What did he need?

"Sorry to be a bother, but there's something you need to know," Riku said, lingering in the doorway. He figured Roxas had the right to know about the Darkness that seemed to be around Namine all the time.

Sora shut the fridge door with his foot, turning around to join the rest of his friends. He figured they would all just relax for a while, and that was fine with him; the cold weather had him feeling too tired and lazy to do something active.

Roxas nodded, and Riku walked into the room and leaned against Namine's dresser. He only stood by the bed. "What's going on?"

"I've been smelling Darkness lately," Riku said, and at Roxas's quizzical expresson, he elaborated. "Around Namine. And I don't know why." It was awful, really. But why would the Darkness be lingering around her? It didn't make any sense.

Sora reentered the living room, handing Terra a drink before he gave a bottle to Aqua. He then returned to his spot next to Kairi and sat down, opening his own drink once he was seated.
Roxas's broken eyes turned to look at the girl sleeping innocently in her bed. "Namine..." he said without thought. Was there something he didn't know? Was she hiding something?
  • Author
Namine was unaware of the conversation going on in the room around her, or that it was about her. She still slept soundly, viewing no dreams. Just darkness.

"The only time she could have been around Darkness at all was during the attack on the Island," Riku pointed out. "Did something happen?"

Roxas furrowed his eyebrows a little, looking down at the girl he loved. "When I found her, there were Heartless everywhere," he admitted. He then turned his eyes to Riku. "Could that have something to do with it, maybe?"

Riku shrugged. "It's a possibility," he said. The Heartless would have had to injure her somehow, or infected her, to keep the Darkness lingering for so long.

  • Author
Namine still didn't hear the voices in the room with her, though they were close and the boys weren't exactly whispering. She really was out cold, despite how much sleep she had gotten lately.

"Roxas, did Namine get hurt at all when you were with her?" Riku asked, his arms crossed over his chest. "If a Heartless scratched her, she could have an infection..."

Roxas bit his lip, looking from Riku to Namine again. Did she get hurt? He couldn't really remember... Everything was such a blur. But he sat down on the empty space on the bed next to her, looking over her form. Where could she have been scratched, if that was even it?

  • Author
Namine exhaled a soft breath in her sleep when Roxas sat down on the bed, but other than that, she didn't react to him.

Namine's arms were over the covers, so he figured he would start there; there weren't any marks on her neck or face... The boy reached forward and lightly started to pull up one of her sleeves. When he got it close to her elbow, his eyes narrowed. "Riku..."

Riku pushed himself away from Namine's dresser at Roxas's tone, walking over to join him next to Namine's bed. That was when he saw the scratches, and the ugly coloring of them. Darkness.

  • Author
Namine stirred slightly when Roxas pulled at her sleeve, though that "stirring" was simply turning her head a little on the pillow.

"...I don't remember this happening," Roxas admitted, holding Namine's hand in one of his as the other held her arm. He was careful not to touch her wounds, though, because it probably would hurt. "Should we tell the others?"

"I'm not sure we have another choice," Riku admitted lowly. They couldn't keep this a secret. This was serious... But, Roxas didn't know how serious it could get if they were too late.

  • Author
Namine took in a breath, subconsciously squeezing the hand that held hers. Did she hear some noise around her? Should she wake herself up?

Roxas felt Namine's hand lightly squeeze his, and he lifted his other hand, starting to gently pull down her sleeve again. "We should go...before we wake her up," he said, his tone softer than before. He didn't want Namine waking up to this.

Riku nodded and turned for the door. And things seemed to be going really well... Now this had to happen.

  • Author
Namine was faintly aware of her sleeve being pulled down, but she was too out of it to realize that Roxas had seen the scratch marks that she hadn't even been aware of. Somehow, she couldn't see them, the Darkness in her system blinding her to the injury so that it could continue to infect her.
Roxas lifted Namine's hand to his lips and kissed it gently, then setting it back down on the bed. He slowly got up and started after Riku, shutting the door quietly behind him.
  • Author
Once the door was shut, Namine rolled over onto her side, curling up a little bit because she was cold. Deep in her slumber, she hoped that this illness would go away soon, but she didn't know just how severe it really was.

Later on that day...

Roxas brought his glider down into Twilight Town's atmosphere, in the back alley near the Usual Spot. As he landed on the ground, his armor faded away and he didn't hold his Keyblade. He didn't think he would need it to search for Axel anyway.

  • Author
Axel was at the place where he always hung out in Twilight Town, that location being the tall clock tower. He remembered the days when he and Roxas used to eat icecream up there, and he missed it. It was still such a strange feeling for him, actually being able to feel emotions. In some ways, he realized he had been better off without them as a Nobody. If he were still a Nobody, he wouldn't have been feeling such heartache over Isa.
Roxas heard a dull bong of the clocktower, which instantly brought his eyes up to it from his place in the town. He saw something on the ledge, and it looked like a person. It was either Hayner, Pence, Olette, or Axel. He hoped the latter, for obvious reasons. Roxas grunted, rushing off in that direction.
