Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Axel had been alone ever since Roxas and his friends went to restore Destiny Islands, and that was alright with him. Even if he was a bit lonely, he knew he needed the time to think by himself. And if he really wanted to, he could go see Roxas in Destiny Islands. But, what if he ran into Kairi? He never did get to apologize for kidnapping her before...
It didn't take Roxas long to climb the winding stairs that led to the top of the station tower, and when he got there, he walked to the corner and peeked, one hand on the building. "Axel," he said, relief in his voice. Good. He'd found him.
  • Author
Axel blinked at the voice, turning his head and looking over at his best friend. "Oh, hey Roxas," he said in greeting, faintly lifting a hand. He wasn't expecting to see him here; he thought he would have been at home.
Roxas nodded to his best friend, walking over to his position. He then sat himself down, letting his legs dangle over the edge of the tower. He looked out at the view, remembering his days with the gang and the Organization when he used to do this. But unfortunately, he wasn't here for a good reason this time.

Axel furrowed his eyebrows slightly at the look on Roxas's face before he turned his head forward and looked over all of Twilight Town. "What's up?" he asked, wondering what brought Roxas here.
Roxas's eyes fell downcast, his expression one of distress. "...There's something wrong with Namine," he told Axel softly. It was bad, really bad.
  • Author
That got Axel's attention, though Roxas already had it. He turned his head and furrowed his eyebrows slightly, looking at his friend as he waited for more. Something was wrong with Namine? That wasn't good...
Roxas felt Axel's gaze on him, so he decided it was best that he elaborated. "When the Islands were attacked, Namine got hurt," he continued. "...One of the Heartless managed to infect her." She was in trouble, and he wanted nothing more than to save her.
  • Author
"You're just noticing the symptoms of the infection now?" Axel asked, keeping his eyes on Roxas. That was strange, at least compared to what he expected.
Roxas shrugged. "I guess...the Light I see within Namine is enough to cover up the Darkness," he said, his eyes staying down on the town below. "I wasn't the one who noticed. Riku was."
  • Author
"Mm," Axel hummed with a nod. That made sense. Roxas's emotions had gotten in the way of him seeing things clearly, but Riku had less emotional attachment and higher senses to the Darkness.
Roxas closed his eyes, sighing after a moment's silence. "I'm willing to do anything to save her, Axel," he said. He opened his eyes and turned his head to look at his friend. "That's why I came to you. You always seem to have the answers. I was thinking you could help me out."
  • Author
Axel frowned, glancing downward in thought. "I don't have the answers to this one, Roxas," he said. He didn't know how to cure an infection caused by Darkness. "But I think I know a place we can go to figure this out." He started pushing himself up, one destination in mind: Vexen's secret library.
Roxas looked up at Axel, curiosity and seriousness in his eyes. "Where?" he asked quietly. He knew that there had to be some way to fix this, but Axel actually knew where the place that held the answer was?
  • Author
Axel opened a dark portal on the other side of the clock tower, though his focus was still on Roxas. "Vexen did studies on a lot of things concerning the Darkness," he explained. "And he has the information stored in an old library of his." It was supposed to be a secret, but Axel always did have information that others didn't.
Roxas nodded once and started pushing himself up. That was the answer he needed. Vexen was an amazing scientist, so if anyone had something on Namine's condition, he probably did.
  • Author
Axel noticed Roxas get up, and so he started towards the open portal. His best friend would surely be right behind him, and once they were in the library, they could start searching for some answers.
Roxas didn't waste any time, going through the portal right after Axel walked into it. He traveled through it until he was in an area surrounded by books on shelves, and he knew instantly it was Vexen's library.
  • Author
Axel kept walking forward, though he did allow his portal to disappear once Roxas was through. He stopped at the shelf in front of him, these being the ones he noticed covering topics of Darkness. "Should be in this section. Somewhere," Axel said.
"'Kay," Roxas said with a nod. He approached the section Axel was in and started scanning the book titles, looking for anything that would help. He needed to cure Namine...
  • Author
Axel furrowed his eyebrows in concentration, looking at the spines of the books. At least Vexen was organized. He was a mad genius, but he was also neat and tidy. But he still couldn't find a book that would help him and Roxas...
Roxas managed to find one book after a couple minutes of searching the shelves, and he was digging through it now. The title seemed convincing enough, but he wasn't sure exactly what he was looking at. It was a lot of technical terms that he didn't understand, but he thought he was getting the basics.
  • Author
Axel noticed that Roxas found a book, but he kept searching just in case that one didn't have answers. He picked up another one and walked over to a nearby table, setting it down and leaning over the table a little bit as he began reading.
Roxas sat at the same table Axel was at, though he was on the other side of it, leaning forward as he read the text. This wasn't really helping... He felt like he was getting nowhere with this one. But there had to be some section that would help.
  • Author
"Hm," Axel hummed, closing his book after flipping through. This one wasn't going to help them with anything. He turned around with book in hand as he started towards the book shelves.
