Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas glanced up from his reading at Axel's huff, but he otherwise flipped through a few more pages. There just had to be something in here... And if not, there was a few other shelves full of books. Roxas just wanted to find the answer quickly, that way he could cure Namine sooner.

Axel bent down low and arched a brow when he saw a book of notes that Vexen himself had written, the other book having just been something he used for information. He grabbed it and started turning through it, hoping that this one would have answers.
Roxas impatiently flipped through another page, and when he scanned it, he did the same with the next page, and then the other and then the other. "Ugh!" he grunted, slamming the book shut. This was so stupid! Why couldn't Vexen just make things simple for once?

"Easy, Roxas," Axel said calmly, turning around and walking back to Roxas with the book in his hand. He kept his gaze down on a page, reading as he walked. "I think I found something."
Roxas looked up, his anger leaving him immediately at Axel's words. "Really?" he asked, curiosity now evident in his tone. What did he find?
  • Author
Axel nodded, though he frowned at the words on the page. He turned the book in his grasp and set it on the table in front of Roxas. "Read it for yourself," he said. He really didn't want to say it aloud.
Roxas gave Axel a look of confusion, but then he lowered his eyes to the page presented to him. His blue eyes read over the text in silence, but his furrowed eyebrows started lifting with each sentence read. By the time he reached the end of the paragraph, he had to read it over and over again. Death. That was the result of this? "No..." Roxas said, shaking his head in refusal. "That can't be right!" He flipped the page, looking for some other result to the infection. That couldn't happen to Namine!

Axel stayed silent, watching Roxas tear through the book. He hoped he didn't accidentally tear it or ruin it, since that information was obviously what they needed even if the information wasn't pleasant. Once the infection reached the heart of the victim...It was instant death.
Roxas continued to flip through pages, scanning the words desperately for some other solution. "T-there has to be some other way, right?" he stuttered, his emotions beginning to affect him. "Namine can't... She can't..." She couldn't...die.

"Roxas, let me look," Axel said calmly, reaching out a hand for the book. At this rate, Roxas was going to tear it apart and they wouldn't be able to get any information out of it. If Vexen put in information about the disease, surely there was a cure in there somewhere.
Roxas tore his fearful eyes from the book to Axel, seeing his hand. The boy's rapid paper-turning stopped, and he lifted the book wordlessly and set it in Axel's hand. He then slouched in his chair, staring at the table. He couldn't believe this...

Axel turned the book around and held it up closer to him, green eyes scanning the page that Roxas was currently on. But then he went back to the one that he originally was on, starting to read from there. Roxas probably didn't skim that one because the word "death" was so apparent on it.
Roxas tried not to let his emotions get to him, but it was already too late. His fear was already on the surface. He wanted nothing more than to hold Namine in his arms now, knowing her fate. But...he couldn't leave without a cure. There had to be one, right?
  • Author
Axel glanced up from the book, seeing the raw emotion on Roxas's face. But then he looked back down at the book, noticing that two pages were stuck together. He gently pulled them apart and then turned the page. That was when he saw the header on the page. Cure for Infection of the Darkness. "Roxas," he said. There was a cure here.
"Huh?" Roxas asked, though his tone wasn't holding any enthusiasm. He didn't look up, his eyes stuck on the table.

"There's a potion we can make to counter the infection," Axel said, keeping his eyes on the book. It was a big list of things to mix together, and he didn't know exactly where to find all these things, but at least they knew how to make a cure now.
"What?" Roxas said dumbly, lifting his eyes up to his best friend as he sat up in chair. There was a cure? That was excellent!
  • Author
"It's a potion made of items from different worlds," Axel said, reading the text beneath the list. Too bad that text didn't say where everything was found. But oh well, if it did, things would have been too easy. Things like this always were complicated, no matter what.
Roxas stood up instantly. "Then let's go!" he encouraged eagerly. They had to hurry before the Darkness reached Namine's heart!
  • Author
"I don't know where to start," Axel said honestly, frowning. "I don't know where to find this stuff." That would certainly make things harder...Unless Roxas knew where to find them.
"Well what stuff do we need?" Roxas asked. Obviously by Axel's confession there weren't any specific locations for those items. Unless, of course, Roxas knew where they were. He wasn't sure how likely that was, though.
  • Author
"Here," Axel said, turning the book and holding it out over the table for Roxas to take. It would be easier for him to just read it, since it was a pretty large list.
Roxas took the book from his place across the table, holding it upright as he read over the list. There were a lot there...but he had a feeling he would know where some of them were. "We definitely need to take this with us," he said, referring to the book. It was important, by all means.
  • Author
"Mm," Axel hummed with a nod, agreeing. He wasn't planning on memorizing that list anytime soon. That was one thing he wouldn't ask Roxas to memorize, ever.
Roxas read over the list again, remembering which items he believed he could find. "I think I might know where we can find some of these," he said, looking up at Axel. "We should go."
