Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku ground his teeth and pulled his arm back, firing blue Firaga orbs at Xehanort while he was distracted by Sora. This was the fastest thing he could think of, and he hoped it was enough.

Aqua quickly pushed herself up from the ground, running over to the edge of the elevated ground and peering down. She saw the two boys engaging in the battle and she felt protective of them, even if she knew that they were talented with their weapons. Regardless, she knew that she needed to get back down there and help.

Xehanort saw the attack coming in, so he used his free hand to use his earth-centered magic, the ground lifting in front of him and Sora to block the orbs that had been coming towards them. The young Keyblader was going to have to do more than that to actually damage him.

Sora grunted, hearing Riku's attack fail when a wall of earth blocking Dark Aura. He didn't bother pressing back against Xehanort's blades any longer, pulling back Oathkeeper and swinging it repeatedly at the man but always having it deflected.

Riku gritted his teeth and stared up at the higher ground in anger. How was he supposed to get up there? No, it didn't matter; he just had to get up there.

Aqua saw the land below her lift, and she took this as her chance. The young Keyblade Master jumped off her higher ground and raised her Keyblade overhead, planning to bring it down on Master Xehanort in the same manner that Vanitas managed to knock her unconscious.

Xehanort sensed Aqua's attack, so he jumped back a step away from Sora before he teleported away, reappearing by the Keyblader who had tried to attack him with the dark orbs before. He saw Riku in his vision and immediately swung his Keyblade, preparing to take care of the Keyblade wielder so that he could focus on his objective.

Sora grunted, Xehanort disappearing from this place. He stepped back a little bit, cautiously looking around. Where did he go?

Riku sensed movement out of the corner of his eye, and he had little time to react. He lifted his Keyblade at the last second and barely blocked the attack, the silver-haired teen grunting slightly at the pressure Xehanort put against his blade.

Aqua's Keyblade ended up smashing into the ground upon her landing, and she quickly stood up, her head turning every which way for a sign of Master Xehanort. When she didn't see him, she ran for the edge of the piece of land she and Sora were on. If he wasn't above them and attacking, then he had to be below them.

Xehanort grunted, surprised that Riku had the time to react. Regardless, he pressed back on Riku's blade and summoned his magic, orbs appearing out of the ground and not only going towards Riku but also going for Sora and Aqua.

Sora ran to the edge only to see the orbs coming up, and he jumped off the side of the ledge down to the lower ground to avoid them. He landed smoothly on his feet, undamaged by the attack.

Riku's eyes left Xehanort to see the attack he had made, and the boy squeezed his eyes shut because he knew what pain was about to approach him. However, it never came, because he suddenly heard it bouncing off of him.

Aqua cartwheeled out of the way of one or two shots after casting Protect on Riku (having seen Sora successfully dodge the attack), but it didn't stop her from completely getting hit. She cried out in pain when three of the earth-orbs hit her, stunning her.

Sora glanced up at Aqua, grunting in disgust when he saw her get hit by Xehanort's attack. He pointed his Keyblade at Xehanort and cast an Ice spell, sending the element at him.

Xehanort saw the attack, and so he did the only thing he felt he could. He pressed off of Riku's blade and jumped back over the ice flying at him, landing right in front of Sora and swinging his Keyblade at him.

Sora barely had enough time to lift his blade, surprised at how quick and strong Xehanort was. He squeezed his eyes shut, feeling Xehanort's Keyblade hit his with a lot of strength.

Aqua grunted, pushing herself up and stabbing her Keyblade into the ground to help her rise to her feet. She stumbled slightly from lightheadedness because of the impact that orbs had, but she was stronger than this. She pulled her Keyblade out of the ground and went to the edge of the land she was still on, looking down and seeing Xehanort with Sora. Aqua focused on her enemy and called magic to her. "Thunder!" she shouted, lightning striking down in the area Xehanort was in.

Xehanort grunted, feeling the lightning strike him. The pressure he had on Sora's Keyblade lessened so much that the boy shoved him off and forced him back a few steps, Xehanort stumbling a few steps before he regained his balance.

Sora ran forward when he managed to get Xehanort off of him, swinging his Keyblade at him while he seemed unprepared. The first few attacks failed, but he hit Xehanort on the last move of the combo, sending him flying backwards and onto his back. He wasn't surprised, though, when he quickly got back onto his feet.

Aqua didn't have time to be glad her attack hit its target. Instead, she jumped down from the ledge she was on, landing on her feet and immediately running for Xehanort. She brought up her Keyblade once she was close enough and swung it, aiming at the man.

Xehanort grunted, ducking to avoid the Keyblade coming at him. He instead grabbed Aqua's arm and focused on an Ice spell, freezing her in an instant like he had done with Ventus so long ago.

"Aqua!" Sora instantly cried, horrified at what Xehanort had just done. What was he supposed to do now?!

Aqua grunted, feeling the ice go through her armor and freeze her entire body. She couldn't move, couldn't blink. She was stuck!

Riku blinked in shock, a gasp leaving him. Aqua... She was frozen?!

Xehanort kept his grip on Aqua's arm before he shoved her aside, again focusing his attention on Sora. He pulled back his arm and threw his Keyblade at the boy, only to have it deflected. He was aware that Riku was by the sidelines closer to Aqua's frozen body now, but he had a plan to get him out of the equation as well.

Aqua's body skidded along the ground, and she would have winced at the pain if she could move. She stopped not far from Riku, unable to move even a finger. I have to get out of this...somehow.

Riku's shocked eyes gazed fearfully at Aqua, the boy worried over her. He ran over to her and skidded to a halt on his knees. "Aqua?!" he said, worry evident in his voice. Was she okay?

No, Riku, go! Aqua wanted to yell. He couldn't worry over her! He had to pay attention and protect himself! He had to help Sora!

Xehanort knew that Riku would be a hindrance, which was why he summoned Neoshadows and sent them over to Riku. He would be so distracted by that that he wouldn't be able to watch out for his younger friend. Xehanort charged forward towards Sora, planning to use a lot of strength right away to subdue Sora so that he could get on with his plan.
Riku's eyes left Aqua and immediately found the Neoshadows in front of him. He then turned his head, seeing them surrounding him and Aqua on all sides. He stood up and put himself in front of Aqua's frozen body to protect her, knowing that he had to take on these Heartless alone. Riku caught one jump at him out of the corner of his eye and he shot Dark Aura at it, pushing it back, but that only brought in more.

Sora grunted, lifting his Keyblade and deflecting the first few attacks that Xehanort threw at him. He was so strong! And he was fast as well, so Sora knew that he was outmatched. Still, he had no choice but to hold his own for a while; he didn't think Riku or Aqua would be able to help him anytime soon.
Aqua could hear the sounds of battle going on around her, and through her helmet she saw Neoshadows lunging for her. She knew instantly that they were Heartless, something inside her telling her it was true. But Riku always managed to get to them before they reached her, which was quite a relief. But still, Aqua knew that she wasn't a damsel in distress, and she wasn't about to play one. The young woman grunted slightly as she tried to move her body, fighting the frozen armor and her frozen muscles.

Xehanort's battle with Sora lasted longer than he would have expected, the teen actually stronger than expected. But he could tell that he was wearing him down after a while, which meant that he was getting closer and closer to being able to release Ventus. During the course of the battle, he made sure that Riku was occupied with Heartless, so that was one less worry. He looked at Sora across from him and summoned dark orbs out of the ground, firing them at him.

Sora rolled out of the way of the dark attack when it came at him, but his movement was too slow to fully protect him. A cry left him at the orbs that hit him, knocking him down to the ground. He couldn't feel his muscles anymore he was so worn out, but he knew that he needed to keep fighting. He couldn't lose...

Riku turned around at the cry. "Sora!" he hollered, seeing his friend on the ground. But he didn't have any more time to do anything but that, a Neoshadow jumping at him and scratching at his chest. The silver-haired teen stumbled backward, but retaliated with intense anger. Enough was enough!

Aqua had been trying to get free from the ice all this time, but she hadn't gained much progress. She was still on the ground, her torso and legs still frozen. However, she could move her neck a little bit and make her hands into fists, her Keyblade now out of her grasp. This was taking too long! She needed to get out of this now!

Sora rolled over onto his side, groaning shortly in pain. However, then he moved onto his stomach and started to push himself up, rising to his feet because Xehanort gave him the room to. What was he thinking?

Xehanort walked towards Sora when he was up on his feet, seeing the brunet lift his Keyblade into a defensive position. "Enough," he said, walking at a slow pace. "Can't you see that you can't come out of this victorious?"

Sora grunted, staring at Xehanort cautiously as he came towards him. He didn't care if he couldn't win himself; he was waiting for his friends to back him up. He just needed to buy some time...then maybe they could help.

Riku slashed angrily through the Neoshadows around him. Whenever he thought he was getting somewhere and the numbers were dwindling, more Heartless were spawned. This was some kind of game, he knew it was. But he couldn't win. There were just too many!

Aqua let out a small cry of pain when she tried moving her arms, thinking of Ven constantly through this. He was frozen, and yet he was strong enough to get out of it. She knew that if he could do it, she could do it too. After all, she had to protect him from Xehanort. She had to protect Sora.

Sora blinked, Xehanort vanishing from in front of him. Where did he go? At that instant, he heard a noise behind him and he turned around only to see Xehanort already swinging his Keyblade at him. He felt the weapon impact his head roughly before he could block it, the teen falling onto his side and then rolling onto his back, the Keyblade lifting dust when he hit the ground and fell out of his grasp. No!

Xehanort stood upright and took a few steps forward, standing over Sora, who seemed to be fighting to stay conscious because of the blow to his head. "Don't fight it, boy," he said. "Your fight is over." It was time for Ventus to be awakened. He set both his hands on the hilt of his Keyblade and held it over Sora's chest as if he were about to stab him, preparing to do the same thing he had done with Ventus years ago. He was going to extract the hearts.

"No!" Aqua shrieked. "Master Xehanort, don't!" She was lucky she could form words, but unlucky with the fact that she couldn't move to get to Sora. "Riku!"

Riku turned at Aqua's shouting, and upon hearing his name, his eyes were stuck on Sora. He ran forward, only to be blocked by more Heartless. He angrily slashed at them, but they wouldn't back off. "Sora!"
