Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"I was just waiting to see if you were okay," Riku said, explaining his reasoning for being in her room so late. "Kairi's out cold, so I figured I would take a small night watch."

Namine smiled weakly, Riku's words touching her. "You didn't have to do that," she stated softly, referring to him staying. She was alright...sorta. Not really, but it wasn't like she was dying.
Riku stood up and shrugged. "Just consider it a friendly gesture," he said with a faint smile. He couldn't smile much considering the circumstances right in front of him, and the awful smell of Darkness. But this was Namine. He couldn't really help it sometimes.

Namine kept her weak smile on her lips, looking up at Riku. "Thanks," she said softly. He was a good friend. A bit overprotective and worrisome sometimes, but he was still sweet.
"Sure thing," Riku said with a nod. He then started toward the door. "You should try and get some more sleep; you still look exhausted." He was quite blunt, but with him, that should have been expected.

"Goodnight, Riku," Namine called softly after him, knowing that she would probably take his advice. She still felt so tired, and there was nothing to do but sleep at night anyway.
"'Night, Namine," Riku replied, opening the door. He stepped out and then turned back to nod to her. "See you in the morning." He offered her a faint smile before pulling the door closed again, leaving her to be alone to sleep.

Namine smiled weakly but then lifted a hand to her pillow, lightly gripping it and exhaling a breath. Could she really fall back asleep so quickly? She was tired, but she felt like being awake for a while. But that was how she felt earlier, and she had ended up falling asleep on Roxas.
Roxas was grateful Peter Pan was willing to help out with the pixie dust, since it was one of the items needed off his and Axel's list for the potion. But now they were headed to get another item off of a different world.

Axel was letting Roxas do most of the leading on this little mission they had, the man just providing assistance where he could. They had a long ways to go before they made this potion. But they were doing things as quickly as they could.

A few days later...

Namine was awake in her bed, laying on her back as she looked at the ceiling through half-open eyes. She hadn't seen Roxas in a few days, but every time she asked Riku about it, he would give her an excuse. But she wasn't buying into them; she just didn't' have the energy to protest. Really, where was Roxas?

Riku knocked on Namine's bedroom door, excusing himself from the group gathering downstairs. Kairi was still a bit of a mess, worrying over Namine all the time. That was why he usually checked up on her; Kairi was like an open book, too easy to read.

Namine turned her head towards the door, having heard the knock. "Come in," she said softly, figuring that it was probably Riku again. He had good hearing, so he could probably hear her. And if it wasn't him, they normally just came in anyway.
Riku opened the door and walked in, leaving it open behind him as he went to his usual chair near Namine's bed. "Hey," he said in greeting. "How you feeling?"
  • Author
"I'm okay," Namine lied softly, as usual. What was she supposed to say? The truth was that she felt absolutely terrible, but Riku didn't want to hear that. She hadn't thought she could feel this bad before, but she was wrong. Very wrong.
"Right," Riku said, leaning forward in the chair to rest his elbows on his knees and clasp his hands together. He could still smell the Darkness, which was stronger than ever. Namine was lying; that much was obvious.
  • Author
Namine could tell that Riku didn't believe her, but she wasn't surprised by that. She wasn't being honest with him, and he wasn't being honest with her about Roxas. "Riku, can I ask you something?" she requested softly.
"Sure," Riku answered with a nod. He was curious as to what Namine had to ask, but he would listen.
  • Author
Namine looked up at Riku's face, looking past his bangs to see his eyes. "Where is Roxas, really?" she asked softly. Riku had been giving her a lot of excuses lately, like saying that Roxas had been with her when she was asleep and she just kept missing him. She wasn't buying it.
Riku smiled slightly but without humor. He knew that Namine was always very clever; she caught on. "...Not on the Islands," he admitted, honest. "But I can't tell you much more than that."
  • Author
Namine furrowed her eyebrows slightly at Riku's refusal to tell her more, her eyes getting across her dissatisfaction. "What's he doing?" she asked softly. It was strange that after sticking to her like glue the first few days she was sick, he suddenly vanished. Something was going on behind her back that she didn't know about.
Riku looked at Namine for a moment, but then he realized that she would get this out of him eventually. So... "He's looking for a cure to your illness," he answered finally.
  • Author
Namine blinked, surprised at that. Roxas was looking for a cure to her sickness? So that was where he had been the past few days...But..."By himself?" she asked, concerned for her boyfriend's safety.
Riku shook his head. "He's got an old friend with him. Axel," he told Namine softly, his voice calm despire the information he was giving her. He thought it best for her not to know, that way she wouldn't worry, but it was too late.
  • Author
Namine was sure that surprise showed on her expression even more at that. She heard Axel was alive from Riku a while ago, but to hear that the two of them were searching for a cure still surprised her. She didn't really know what else to say, so she nodded faintly against her pillow.
"They actually stopped by a day or two ago," Riku said, seeing the surprise on Namine's face. "Filling in on their progress and whatnot."
