Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

It was dawn, and Roxas hurried through the portal Axel had summoned to get them to the Islands. He ran out of it, relieved that Axel managed to make it so they were on the area of the beach right in front of Kairi's house. The boy grunted and started forward, holding the vial of medicine they managed to make in his hand.

Axel came through the portal after Roxas, shutting it when they were both through. He saw the kid start running forward, so he started running as well to keep up with him. That mission took a while; he hoped they weren't too late.
Roxas skipped up the porch steps quickly once he was at the house, and he opened the front door. "Guys!" he hollered upon entry, heading to the living room to see if everyone was there. He had the potion!

Sora thought that he heard a voice, but it was hard to tell because of Kairi's shaky breathing in his ear. He was in Namine's room with her and the rest of his friends, having been there for the past few hours. Namine...was gone. And Kairi was in his arms. It was the only thing that he could do to comfort her, and get some comfort himself. He couldn't believe his friend was really gone...

Roxas didn't hear anything, and didn't see anyone in the room. "Guys!" he hollered again, calling for them. Where were they?

Riku lifted his mournful gaze to Sora at the call. "...Roxas..." he said quietly. He didn't know... He didn't know that Namine was gone...

Kairi only kept her head buried in Sora's shoulder, her sobs becoming heavier at the mention of the blond. He didn't know that the girl he loved was gone!

Sora looked up at Riku when he said the name of his best friend, but then his eyes went back down to the redhead in his arms. He didn't shush her, just lowering his head and holding her as closely as he could. This was awful...

Terra was sitting against a wall with Ven and Aqua, and he knew that somebody had to go let Roxas know where they were. "I got it," he said softly, pushing himself up and starting for the door. He didn't know what he would say or do; hopefully his appearance would be enough to tell Roxas that they were all upstairs.

Roxas started out of the living room and into the hall, seeing Axel there. His excitement was dwindling now, but once he saw Namine, it would boost again. After all, he had her cure.

Aqua continued to sit against the wall, hugging her knees as a tear slipped down her cheek. Namine was such a sweet girl... She didn't deserve this fate.

Ven fought the tears that he wanted to cry, glaring down at the ground with moist eyes. He knew Namine better than Aqua or Terra, since he had known her from when he was inside of Sora. He considered her a friend, even if they themselves weren't that close. And now she was gone...

Terra walked through the door, shutting it so it was just open a crack as he walked through the upstairs stall. He stopped at the top of the stairs and saw two figures by the bottom, both of them in Organization cloaks but with faces exposed. Roxas and Axel came...but it was too late.

Roxas sensed another presence in the room and turned his head, looking up the stairs. "Terra!" he said, a smile appearing on his face. So they were upstairs? He should have figured that. He immediately started up the steps, holding the potion. It was time to give this to the girl he loved.

Terra felt his eyes soften at Roxas's excitement, seeing him hurrying up the stairs. "Roxas..." he said, his tone not holding the same excitement. That potion wasn't going to do them any good now.
"No, I know," Roxas insisted, his excitement at finally curing Namine keeping him from noticing Terra's unenthusiastic tone. "It's a good thing I'm here, right? Namine needs me," he said with a happy smile, reaching the top of the stairs and passing Terra, starting toward Namine's room.
  • Author
Terra glanced at Axel coming up the stairs, and that man seemed to realize that something was wrong. "Roxas," he said again, more firmly. He couldn't just waltz into there without knowing the truth. He was too late.
Roxas came to a stop, turning around to look at Terra. "What?" he asked, some impatience in his tone. He just wanted to see Namine and tell her that her guardian angel was here again, to save her.
  • Author
Terra hesitated even though Roxas's impatient tone told him to speak quickly, the man not knowing how to put it. But, Roxas needed to know before he stormed into a room full of mourning people. "...It's too late."
Roxas's eyebrows furrowed at the words. Too late? What did Terra mean, too late...? But then Roxas's eyes widened and he took a step back, shaking his head. "No..." he whispered hoarsely.
  • Author
Terra saw that Roxas understood now, and he felt tempted to step forward and set a hand on the younger boy's shoulder. But there was no comfort he could provide now. This situation was too terrible for that. Namine was gone.
Roxas's horrified eyes went to Axel, and he only shook his head again, denial in his head. "You're lying..." he said. There was no way...
  • Author
Axel stepped past Terra, walking a few steps and stopping a few steps away from his best friend. "He has no reason to lie, Roxas," he said softly. Denial wasn't going to do them any good here. Since Terra was telling the truth, that meant that Namine really was gone. He felt sad at that, but he was more concerned for Roxas right now.

"We...we didn't do this for nothing!" Roxas said then, growing angry as tears started to fill his eyes. His voice was firm, growing loud with anger. "She couldn't just... This isn't how it's supposed to be!"

Aqua's eyes instantly went to the door, hearing Roxas's voice. She only felt more tears in her eyes, hearing the heartbreak in his tone.

  • Author
Axel took another step forward and set a hand on Roxas's shoulder. "You're right," he said softly. "This isn't how it's supposed to be." But it was reality, no matter how awful it was.
Roxas took a step back, frustrated with Axel. "How can you be so calm about this?" he asked, disbelief in his tone. He was...heartbroken. If this was true...he was willing to go himself. Life was pointless without Namine. "She was your friend too!"
  • Author
"Yes, she was," Axel said, swallowing and forcing himself to remain calm despite the sadness that was present in his heart. "But Roxas...this is reality." They couldn't deny what happened in their absence. Their friend, Roxas's love, was gone.
Roxas shook his head, his vision blurring as he looked down at the ground. This wasn't real... This was a dream, a nightmare. Namine wasn't dead.
  • Author
Axel kept his green eyes on Roxas, his hand back by his side after Roxas pulled away. He didn't want it to happen this way...He hadn't gotten the chance to see Namine for a long time. He wanted to be her friend again. But it was too late.
Roxas looked up at Axel after a moment, sniffling, but then his eyes went to Terra. He took a step back and then another, until he turned around completely and speed-walked down the hall, to Namine's room.
