A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Axel let Roxas walk away, and he noticed behind him that Terra hadn't made a move either. He lifted a hand to his forehead, shaking his head faintly. This was awful.

Roxas approached Namine's room and pushed the door open with his free hand, the door swinging to reveal the room. His eyes darted over all of his friends; Aqua and Ventus on the floor, Riku standing by Namine's bed, Sora holding Kairi as she cried... Roxas's blue eyes moved to the bed then and his knees buckled, the tears in his eyes increasing tenfold at the sight of her. Namine...

Sora lifted his head faintly when he heard the door open, his sorrowful blue eyes going to the person standing in the doorway. Roxas...He came to save her. And now he was here only to see that she was beyond saving. She was gone...

Roxas grunted, forcing his feet to move quickly over to Namine's bed. He collapsed on his knees beside it, setting the vial of useless potion on the floor. "Nam...?" he said weakly, his voice heavy with sorrow. She wasn't moving, and she wasn't breathing...

Axel saw Terra walk past him, and he let him get a few steps ahead of him before he started forward as well. He stopped in the doorway and saw Terra go to his spot against the wall next to Aqua, but then his eyes went to his best friend, and the girl on the bed.

Roxas lifted his hand to touch Namine's face, but only his fingertip touched. He pulled it back due to how cold her skin was. Roxas released a sob then, his eyes on his love's face. But then another sob escaped him and tears left his eyes. Namine really was gone...

Sora heard Roxas's sob, and he felt an emotional connection to his Nobody as well. He squeezed his eyes shut and turned his head so his face was hidden against Kairi's hair, moisture flooding his eyes again.

Aqua gazed sadly at Roxas as he buried his face in his arms against the bed, quiet sobs leaving him. She tore her eyes away from him after that, tears leaking from her eyes as they fell shut.

Terra felt himself get choked up at Roxas's emotion, and he turned his head to the side to see how Aqua and Ven were doing. Neither were good, but Aqua was closest to him. He scooted over and wrapped an arm around her shoulders in a comforting gesture, not saying a word.

Aqua leaned into Terra without thought, turning her head to bury the side of her face into his shoulder. This was so hard to witness... So heartbreaking...

 

Roxas couldn't do anything but cry, heart wrenching sobs leaving him as he stayed knelt by Namine's lifeless form. She wasn't with him anymore... She was gone. He had hoped to save her, be her guardian angel...like he was supposed to be. But he failed her. Roxas failed her.

Sora felt sobs of his own rising up inside of him, hurting his chest because of how hard he was trying to be strong. But one sob left his lips, muffled against Kairi's hair. His friend was gone. He'd never get to tease her again, joke around with her...She was gone. The brunet gripped the back of Kairi's shirt, tears leaving him.

Kairi held onto Sora tightly, her hands in fists as she gripped his clothes. She heard his sobs and felt the sorrow in his heart, making her cry even more. There was nothing they could do... She was gone.

 

Riku was leaning against the wall, one arm over his chest while his other hand was covering his face. He had to swallow the lump in his throat, keep back his own sobs. Namine...

Ven kept to himself, quietly crying. He had his legs up and arms wrapped around his knees, head buried in them as his tears fell. This was terrible. Namine was so pure; she didn't deserve to die to something so menacing...And now she couldn't shine her light on the world anymore.

Roxas moved his hand as he kept his head buried in his arms. His fingers touched the ones of his beloved, and he gripped her lifeless hand in his as he continued to cry. I'm sorry...

Axel leaned his shoulder against the doorway, having dealt with his sorrow on his own for the past few minutes. He looked to Roxas and then to the vial on the ground. That potion...could it...? "Roxas..." he said from the doorway, his voice soft. Maybe they could still save her.

Roxas heard his name called out to him and he lifted his head. Sniffling, he turned his gaze to look over his shoulder at Axel with watery blue eyes. His weak expression seemed to say it all: What is it?

"...Try giving her the potion," Axel said once he had Roxas's attention. If it was strong enough to flush the Darkness out of her system, maybe it could bring her back to life, too.

Roxas gave Axel a heartbroken look. "Don't get my hopes up...please," he begged shakily, his voice thick with tears. "Namine's already..." She was already gone, lifeless. Axel couldn't tell him to do such a thing when it obviously wouldn't work anymore.

Axel shook his head faintly, seeing and hearing Roxas's heartbreak. "Just try it," he insisted softly, but gently. They had one more chance to save her...They had to try it. The potion was worthless otherwise, anyway.

Roxas looked at Axel for a minute, but then he turned his head down to look at the potion to his side. He took his hand away from Namine's and the bed and picked it up, pulling the cork out of it. He then looked to Namine, his eyes blurring at the sight of her like this. But Roxas forced his legs to lift him up until he sat on the bed next to her. He looked at the blue fluid in the vial and then reached forward, parting Namine's pale lips and pouring the potion in her mouth.

Axel watched in silence, noticing a few others in the room paying attention to what Roxas was doing. He knew all of them were probably feeling hopeful, and honestly, so was he. He really hoped this worked...

Roxas leaned back, holding the potion against his leg as he stared at Namine. His blue eyes were wet with tears, as well as his cheeks, but he didn't take his eyes off of her. What did Axel think this would do? Namine was already...dead.

 

Kairi had her face out of Sora's shoulder now, instead underneath his chin as she looked toward Roxas and her best friend. Would the potion do anything?

Axel stayed where he was, keeping an eye on Namine from where he stood. No immediate reaction, from what he could see. But a few moments after that, Namine's heart started beating again, her chest rising faintly from breathing.

Roxas blinked, noticing the slight intake of breath. He set the potion down on the bedside table as he leaned in a little closer. Namine... Was she really...?

Namine felt the darkness begin to fade away, it having been suffocating before. But she wasn't strong enough to regain consciousness; she could only escape the death that had been gripping her. She exhaled a faint breath, really alive again.
