A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Roxas felt tears leave his eyes again, the boy lowering his head and shaking it as he cried in happiness. Namine was alive... She was okay!

Axel couldn't tell that Roxas was crying from joy, though he briefly considered it. He took a few steps forward and stopped when he could see Namine better. And then he saw it. "...She's alive," he said softly, looking around at everyone in the room. She was okay...

Kairi's eyes widened, her grasp on Sora's shirt loosening in shock. "...What?" she whispered hoarsely. Namine...was alive?

 

Riku's watery eyes were on Namine now, and he could barely see her breathing. Axel was right...

Axel looked at the blonde, figuring things out as he spoke. "The Darkness didn't take her heart yet," he said softly. "It was only suffocating her heart..." Of course, suffocation was a big deal, which was why he elaborated. "The potion pushed it away from her heart." And now it was probably going through the rest of her body, though it had to have been weakened because of the strength needed to push back that Darkness in her heart.

Aqua took her head out of Terra's shoulder, looking over in Axel's direction. "She's going to be alright?" she asked softly, making sure she was getting things right.

"She should be," Axel said with a faint nod. "But a lot of the potion's strength probably went into saving her. It'll still work, but more slowly." The important thing was that she was alive.

Roxas could only sob with relief, tears leaving his eyes as his head hung. Namine was going to be alright... He was so grateful. So, so grateful.

Axel heard soft breaths of relief from a few people in the room, and he was relieved as well. She was really alive...That was great. Now all they could do was wait for the potion to wipe out the darkness in her system and heal her completely.

Kairi looked away from Roxas, seeing how relieved he was; he was crying. She felt tears in her own eyes as she turned her head toward Sora's chest again. This was such a rollercoaster, but thank goodness Namine was going to be alright.

Sora looked down when Kairi turned into him, and he lifted one of his hands off her back and to the back of her head. Namine was alright. He could feel the relief in Kairi's heart, and he was sure she could feel the same thing in his heart. Their friend was still with them.

Kairi felt one last tear trickle down her cheek as she closed her eyes, releasing a long, shaky breath. It was over... This time of Darkness was over for Namine.

Sora turned his head and pressed his lips against the top of Kairi's head, staying in that position for a few seconds before he rested his cheek on her head. He wasn't letting go of her anytime soon; experiences like this taught him to hold onto the things he cherished. And he cherished Kairi more than anything else in the world.

Roxas reached up and wiped his face with the sleeve of his cloak, sniffling. He opened his eyes and looked down at the girl he loved with all he had, even if it wasn't enough of the love that she deserved. She was with him again...

About a day later...

 

Namine finally started regaining some senses, the Darkness having receded far away enough from her heart that she could regain consciousness. But even when she was unconscious, she was aware of how freezing cold she was. But at one point during her slumber, she felt some kind of warm around her. It ended the shivers she hadn't even been aware of, comforting her.

Roxas was cuddled up with Namine under her covers, keeping her as warm as he possibly could. His arm was over her stomach as his head rested on the pillow, his body turned toward her as he gazed at her. The last day or so, he'd done nothing but stayed in here, in her room and by her side. He couldn't leave her, not after what happened the last time he was gone.

Namine rolled over in her sleep, turning and unknowingly facing towards Roxas. Her forehead came in contact with his chest, the warmth close to her face. What was this warmth? She wanted to wake up and find out.

Roxas couldn't help but smile, his puffy eyes on the girl he cherished and loved with all his heart. He hadn't stopped crying since he'd been home, having been so scared of losing her, and heartbroken. He nearly lost her to Darkness.

Namine forced her soft blue eyes open, blinking a few times at the fabric she saw before her. She was a little dazed, though, not recognizing it. What...?

Roxas had his hand on Namine's side since she rolled over, keeping himself close to her. He hoped she wouldn't mind waking up to him here, or any other day. He was going to be around a lot, whether she woke up now or some other day. He would wait, because he loved her.

Namine lifted an arm, wrapping it over Roxas' waist. She exhaled a soft breath and snuggled closer to him, savoring his warmth and comfort. Even if his name hadn't entered her mind yet, her heart knew who this was. Roxas.

Roxas felt his smile widen a little bit, his soft blue eyes on Namine's head of blonde hair. She was awake... He just knew it. And he was glad he was here to witness it first; he felt it was just...right.

As soon as her heart recognized who she was with, Namine lifted her head out of Roxas's chest and looked up towards his face. At the sight of his bright blue eyes, she smiled faintly. "Roxas," she said weakly, happy.

Roxas let a single chuckle leave him, his eyes beginning to tear up again. He missed those sky-blue eyes, and that voice. He missed his Namine.

Namine noticed Roxas's eyes get moist, but she also saw that he was happy. She kept a faint smile on her lips, her eyes on his puffy, wet ones.

Roxas moved his hand from Namine's side to cup her blonde head, his eyes staying on her. She was awake, alive. The sound of her voice was glorious to him, as was the sight of her eyes.
