A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"Hi," Namine said softly, feeling Roxas's hand on the back of her head. She felt warmth in her heart for the first time in a while, Roxas's presence making her feel comfortable. And she didn't feel as sick as before, either. Had he come back with a cure?

"Hi..." Roxas replied gently, his eyes glistening with tears. He was glad he was able to tell her that instead of the alternative; goodbye. He thought he would have had to say that at... He wouldn't think about it. Namine was fine, and with him. Nothing could ruin this moment.

"You came back," Namine said softly, stating the obvious. And if he was here with her, that meant that he must have found a cure. But she didn't remember taking anything...Had she just been in a daze then?

So did you. Roxas nodded a little, his hand still cupping the back of Namine's head. "Here I am," he said softly. He wasn't leaving her side ever again.

Namine kept her eyes on Roxas's, asking a question that popped into her mind. "Everything's okay now?" she asked softly, really hoping that he would say that it was.

Roxas smiled a little more, nodding. "Everything's okay now," he assured her softly, bringing his hand away from her head a little to brush her hair out of her face. He and Axel may have been too late, but destiny had a different say in the matter.

Namine hummed, shutting her eyes in both weakness and comfort. She didn't need to know the details; Roxas's response was good enough for her. Things were alright now.

Roxas let his hand return to cup Namine's head once her hair was out of her face, the boy just looking at her. He'd been doing nothing but that since he got here at dawn. He couldn't take his eyes off of her in fear that if he did, she'd disappear.

Namine kept her eyes shut, comforted by Roxas's presence. He must have been that warmth that she felt before, when she was very cold. She was warm now, though, and happy. Her guardian angel was back.

"...I love you," Roxas whispered, the tears in his eyes finally starting to go away as he composed himself. "I love you so much." He lost her, actually lost her to Darkness. Even if it was only for a little while, it was absolutely terrifying. Roxas never wanted to go through that again. Ever.

Namine felt herself smile faintly, and she snuggled closer to Roxas and set her forehead against his chest. "I love you too," she whispered, meaning it deeply.

Roxas couldn't stop smiling, the boy lowering his head so his face was in Namine's hair. He closed his eyes, releasing a soft breath. She was awake now, and well. Now it was time to just relax and be with her.

Namine's arm was still wrapped over Roxas, so she lightly ran her hand over his back once before her hand stayed still. Man, she was still so tired.

Roxas didn't have to tell Namine that she could go back to sleep if she needed to; she surely knew that he wouldn't mind. He wouldn't mind anything she did anymore, as long as he was with her.

"I'm tired," Namine stated softly, though she figured that was clear by her behavior. But there was something else she wanted to say. "But I want to be with you." She didn't want to sleep now that he was back...

Roxas only smiled. "I'm not going anywhere," he said, his voice muffled a little by Namine's hair. She could sleep.

Namine shook her head faintly. "Not what I meant," she said weakly. She wanted to be awake and really be with him, not just sleeping in his arms.

Roxas laughed a little, running his hand over Namine's hair. "Sleep if you need to. We'll spend as much time together as you want when you have your rest," he assured her. There was snow outside, and he heard from Riku how much she wanted to play in that.

Namine felt comforted, both by Roxas's laugh and his actions. And, of course, his promise. "Alright," she mumbled softly in defeat. She would get some sleep.

Roxas only kept his eyes closed, continuing to run his hand along the back of Namine's head. He hoped to soothe her to sleep, that way she could get all the rest she needed after her battle with Darkness.

Namine's embrace loosened, consciousness leaving her because of Roxas's gentle presence. She felt at peace for the first time in a while, good dreams coming to her in her sleep.

A few days later...

 

Roxas stood by in silence, his hands in his pockets as he watched the girl he loved play in the snow. From what he remembered, this was her favorite season because of this moment right here. All of their friends were gathered to join in on the fun, but deep down Roxas knew it was for celebration of Namine's recovery.

Namine scooped up some snow, laughing when she saw Sora and Riku in the middle of a snowball fight. She formed a snowball and then threw it towards Riku while he was distracted, a smile on her face.

Riku felt a snowball hit the back of his head just after he threw one at Sora, and he whirled around with wide eyes. That was when he saw Namine, and he smirked. "You're in trouble!" he hollered, amusement in his tone as he bent down to scoop up snow.

Namine giggled, turning and hiding behind the tree that she was by. She knelt down and formed some more snow, unaware that Roxas wasn't currently in the snowball fight.
