Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Aqua blinked at that, slightly hurt. But she covered up that sadness with fury. "As Keyblade Master, you're stuck with me, Knight," she said, looking up at him as she spat the words. "The only way you're getting rid of me is if I can no longer wield the Keyblade, or if you hurt Ven."

"Don't put Ven in the middle of this," Terra said lowly. He would never hurt Ven, even if he did want Aqua to leave him alone for a while. And she had to have known that, so why would she even bring that up?
"You already did, Terra!" Aqua hollered. Why was he trying to pin this on her? She hoped she didn't wake the boy up by yelling so loudly, but she was just so aggravated with Terra.

"And I said I was sorry!" Terra yelled in response. "So stop trying to make me feel worse than I already do!" He was angry before, but now he was infuriated because he was protective of the boy who was like a little brother to him.
"Oh, so it's working?! Great!" Aqua screamed just as loudly, furious blue eyes on the man right in front of her. She was glad he felt bad, because he made her feel awful with Alexis earlier, and he made Ventus upset as well.

Terra felt anger and hurt in his heart, and he knew that he couldn't respond to that. He took a step over and then turned, starting toward the stairs. She was purposely hurting him. He was leaving before she hurt him worse than he already was.
Aqua watched Terra go, her hands clenched at her sides. There was one more thing she had to say before Terra was out of her sight, this feeling like the last time she would talk to him for a long time. "Tell Alexis she's won," Aqua called, her tone lower than before. There's no hope for us.

Terra stopped in the doorway, his back to Aqua. "Maybe I will," he whispered softly, more to himself than to Aqua. He then started walking again, leaving the room and going for the stairs.
Aqua watched Terra go, and once he was out of her sight, she looked down at the floor. Her vision blurred and she clenched her fists even tighter. Then she collapsed on the couch, not knowing what to think or do now that the argument just occurred.

Terra went up to the bedroom that he had, thankful that he didn't have to share one with Ven right now. He shut the door behind him and then walked forward to his bed, sitting down and letting his feet stay on the floor. He brought his hands to his face and let his elbows rest on his knees, a thousand thoughts rushing through his mind because of that argument.
Aqua brought her knees up to her chest as she sat on the couch, wrapping her arms around them. Only a single lamp was on in the living room, where she sat alone. She was still mad, upset, and a little bit in shock; she and Terra had never argued like that before...

Terra's shoulder's slumped, a sigh of anger and hurt leaving his lips. How could things have ended like that? He and Aqua weren't friends anymore? It wasn't like he was trying to hurt her before, and he had even said as much. But she purposely wanted to hurt his feelings...What kind of a friendship was that?
Aqua's eyes were watery with tears, but one didn't trickle down her cheek, not yet. Now, she was thinking about Alexis, and what she told Terra. Aqua got the message earlier today, and she got another from Terra just now. It was over; Terra belonged solely to Alexis now.

Terra didn't want to throw out the friendship that he had with Aqua. They had been best friends their entire lives. But she was the one who gave up, saying Alexis "won". So whether Terra wanted it to be over or not, that was how things were.
"...He's on his own now," Aqua whispered, closing her eyes. She tried helping Terra, and he didn't believe her. She could be persistent with it, but that would only make things worse. There was no point anymore...even after just one try. Terra didn't want to believe her, so it wouldn't happen.

Terra laid back on the bed, feet still dangling over the side. No. He couldn't lose his friendship with Aqua. But...How was he supposed to save it? He couldn't think of anything to do to set things right after that harsh argument, and since he didn't believe her about Alexis's Darkness.
Aqua sat in silence for a while, not thinking or doing anything. Sleep would come to her eventually, and that would be that. The day would be over, the one that contained that horrible argument with Terra. Things wouldn't be the same tomorrow, but she could start fresh...with whatever was going on.

Terra turned himself so that he was laying properly on the bed, his head on the pillow. He'd sleep on it. And hopefully he could come up with something to set things right.
Aqua eventually fell asleep out in the living room, not feeling the need to move. She had one arm tucked under her head as she rested against the arm of the couch, curled up in a ball. She had no dreams nor nightmares; her unconscious was just black with darkness.

Two days later...

Terra was on the beach with Alexis, the two of them having some privacy. He was glad for that, because he was about to bring up a pretty sensitive subject. After thinking about it, Terra came up with one possible way to save his friendship with Aqua. He and Alexis...They needed to spend less time together. If Aqua saw that he was trying to make things right, maybe she would do the same thing on her side.

"Terra? What's wrong?" Alexis asked, having sensed that Terra was distraught. She had been toying with the Darkness in his heart during their silent walk, but she was sure he didn't notice it. It was something that she had to pull the trigger for, and she would if things ever didn't go the way that she wanted them to.

Aqua had just excused herself from Sora and the others, since they were going into town for some lunch. Honestly, she wasn't all that hungry, which was why she was staring out at the water, letting it wash up by her shoes. Not that she cared; water was the least of her concern right now.

Terra stopped walking, Alexis doing the same even if they weren't in physical contact. "I've just, been thinking..." he started softly. "The other day things were pretty bad between me and my friend, and it's partially my fault..."

"Terra, remember what I told you," Alexis said with a sigh. "She's just jealous. She wishes she could have what I have..." She wanted to love Terra, but Alexis wouldn't release him from her grasp.

Aqua furrowed her eyebrows when she thought she recognized something. What was it? Darkness? If it was Alexis...maybe she needed to leave. Terra probably didn't want to see her.

Terra shook his head faintly, looking towards the ground and failing to realize that they weren't the only people on the beach. "No," he said softly. "She's just worried that I'll lose myself in this relationship." That was more or less true; he just left out the part about the Darkness. "That's why...I think we should see each other less."
Aqua turned her head in the direction she sensed the Darkness coming from, and sure enough, there they were. Terra and Alexis, within close proximity and speaking with one another. Aqua sighed softly and started to push herself up; might as well not get in the way.
