Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku kept his head lowered, his eyes also still closed. He couldn't look at him, not when Sora was...gone. Where did his heart go? And why didn't his body fade away? Or maybe it had; he hadn't looked yet.

Terra looked back over at Aqua after a few moments, knowing that they needed to get Sora's heart back. But where did it even go? He knew nothing of how the heart worked, so it was impossible to judge where Sora's spirit was now.

Sora's heart was alone for what felt like an eternity, his heart yearning for some kind of Light and hope to keep him going. Floating in the space between the worlds, his heart finally caught sight of a Light that was burning strong. He headed in that direction, that world being the one where he lived most of his life.

Aqua's body shook with more than shivers, the young woman moving her body on purpose to break the ice. She groaned slightly at the pain, squeezing her eyes shut. But she continued to do it, knowing that it needed to be done.

Sora's heart went to that world, attracted like a magnet to a certain person in that place. He entered that world's atmosphere and had a bird's-eye view of the Island where he and his friends used to play when they were children. But that wasn't the only thing he saw; he saw the person that his heart was attracted to. Kairi.

Riku could hear Aqua screaming behind him, the cries being obvious ones of pain. He tried to block it out, though his thoughts weren't any better. He saw Sora's heart leave him with his own eyes, and yet he couldn't open them to look at his friend. Why did Riku allow this to happen? Why wasn't he there?

Kairi stood on the beach on the play island, her hands linked behind her back as she gazed out at the ocean in silence. Not a lot had happened since Sora left, only the usual with the mayor and the girl giving Roxas and Namine some quality time after all they'd been through. But...Kairi still missed her boys. She wanted them home...

Sora's heart descended from the sky, at the same time calling out to the person who he had been attracted to by her faith in him. "Kairi," he called, his heart floating down towards her. Finally, he felt as if he had found a safe haven with a friend that he could trust.
Kairi jumped slightly at the call, her eyes widening. Sora? She caught something moving above her, her heart telling her to look up. When she did, she blinked in confusion. What was that? The girl's hands came to her sides, her head still up toward the sky.

Sora's heart floated down, stopping in front of the girl that had attracted his heart. "Your Light called to me when I was lost," he said. Something had happened, and he was hopelessly lost until he had caught sight of the Light that always called him home.
Kairi stared in awe and shock at the heart that was in front of her, at the same time fearing what she already knew was real. "...Sora?" she said, voice hushed. This...this was him?

"I didn't know where else to go," Sora's heart said. "So I looked, and I found you." He was connected to her, both because of the Papou fruit and their natural connection between their hearts. He had never been more relieved to have that connection, knowing that it allowed him to find Kairi in his time of need.
Kairi immediately felt her eyes begin to water, the girl wordlessly bringing her hands out and cupping the space underneath Sora's heart. "What happened?" she asked softly. Her soulmate... What happened to him?

"My heart...was released," Sora said, feeling the warmth of Kairi's Light closer to him because of her hands by his heart. "I felt so lost...I was worried I would be that way forever." He felt like a child, who totally lost their way and couldn't find a safe place. But here he was, in his home again. Safe with Kairi.
So Sora is... Kairi couldn't finish her thought, her teary eyes on the heart of the person she loved most in the world. "...But you're here," she said, trying to cover up her sorrow. "Why?" And who did this to him?

"When I was alone, I looked for someplace safe that I could go to," Sora's heart said softly. "And then I saw your Light and followed it until I found you, here." When he was alone, he hadn't had a clue which world was which and where he would find a safe haven. He had been scared of the Darkness that surrounded him.
Kairi gazed gently at the heart floating before her, the one she cupped in her hands. The one that belonged to the boy she loved. She wanted to know who did this, but at the same time, she didn't. Instead, the girl silently nodded, not sure if Sora's heart could tell. But one way it could was by her own heart, since they were so close.

"I'm glad I found you," Sora said, continuing after he sensed Kairi's silent response. There was nobody else he could have gone to at a time like this other than Kairi. He had plenty of other friends out there, but only Kairi's heart could call to him loudly enough for him to find her.
"Me too," Kairi said weakly, her smile of the same fashion. It was much better than his heart going to where it normally would upon being released. Kingdom Hearts. Or was that a safe haven? No, she would much rather have Sora with her. Any day.

"Can I stay with you, for a little while?" Sora's heart asked Kairi, wanting permission to do more than just float in front of her. His heart was still prone to stray away when it was here, but if he stayed right by Kairi's heart, then he would be alright.
Kairi's smile grew a little, and when she blinked, a tear trickled down her face. "Stay as long as you need," she told Sora's heart quietly. She would keep him safe; it was her turn to protect him now, for however long it would take.

"Thank you," Sora said, hearing the genuineness of Kairi's offer. He moved closer to her at that, wanting to be safe by the warmth of her heart. That was where he would remain, until the day he found his way to his real home again.
Kairi closed her eyes when she felt warmth engulf her body, her hands automatically coming to where her heart was. And now...Sora's. She felt her lip begin to quiver, the girl lowering her head as her sorrow made itself physically present.

"Don't cry," Sora's heart said softly, feeling Kairi's emotions better now that her heart was closer to his. "I'm happy here." He was safe for the time being, not even concerned about when he would go back to where he really belonged. As far as he was concerned, right now he belonged with Kairi and nowhere else.
Kairi smiled despite her emotions, though she did quietly sob. A tear trickled down her cheek again and she could only think one thing: Still the same old Sora, cheering me up when he needs it more. And he knew that telling her not to cry, especially in that gentle manner, would only make her do it more.

Sora didn't bother protesting again to Kairi's crying, knowing better than to do that. He had to admit...he was a little sad too. He had told Kairi he would try to come back soon, but he couldn't have imagined it would happen like this.
Kairi was glad Roxas and Namine weren't around. She wouldn't be able to tell them what was wrong in this state. Through her own emotions, she could feel Sora's sadness too, and she only continued to cry. For once, she was relieved that she was alone...though not completely. Not anymore.
