Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Aqua tucked her charm back in her pocket as she traveled along a row of books. Some of them were scattered on the floor, and she looked at them with curiosity. Who was the last person in here? "Terra?" she called again, rounding a corner to find yet another row of books. What was this, a maze?
  • Author
Terra lowered his other hand to the table, hearing the call yet again. And he recognized the voice, even if it was distorted a little by the sound of its echo. "...Aqua?" he called. What was she doing here?
Aqua blinked, coming to a stop when she heard a faint voice. It was her name, and it sounded much like her best friend. "Where are you?" she called back, rounding another corner. She would climb the shelves if that was what it took to find him, since this was quite odd.
  • Author
"Further back," Terra responded. It sounded to him like she was getting closer. How long had she been in this castle? How had she even figured out where he was?
Aqua only proceeded down another row of books, and that was when she saw a clearing to the left. There was a staircase there as well. Regardless, she walked toward it, stepping out into the open space and looking around for her best friend. That was when she saw him, at the desk. She smiled in relief. "Terra," she breathed.
  • Author
Terra saw his best friend come into the area, and even though he figured out that she was there, he was still surprised to see her. "What...are you doing here?" he asked. How did she know where he was?
"I wanted to make sure you were okay," Aqua said, starting toward Terra's position at the table. "You disappeared so quickly..." He hadn't said anything about leaving, but why not?
  • Author
"...Oh," Terra said, realizing that he had done that on purpose. If Aqua or Ven knew what he was doing, then they would have insisted on coming. But he didn't want them to. "Sorry."
Aqua saw the way Terra reacted, stopping in front of him on the other side of the table. "Why didn't you say anything?" she asked, setting her hands on the table and leaning against them as she gazed at her best friend.
  • Author
"Because I knew that the two of you would want to tag along," Terra responded honestly. And this was a personal search for him, one of discovery about the betrayal he suffered because of Xehanort in the past. It was loosely connected to Alexandra, since her betrayal reminded him of Master Xehanort.
Aqua furrowed her eyebrows at that. "Tag along?" she repeated. Terra couldn't be serious. Was that what he thought she and Ven would do?
  • Author
Terra shrugged, seeing Aqua's look. Well, they hardly left him alone at home these days. They were always trying to be with him after what happened with Alexandra, and he had a feeling they would be even more clingy if he left. And since Aqua managed to track him down, that proved his point. Those two weren't giving him much privacy.
"Are you saying Ven and I...are suffocating you? Is that it?" Aqua asked softly, looking at Terra still. She wasn't tagging along; she was seeing if he was alright. Ven wanted to come, but she told him no. She believed "tagging along" was the last thing that was happening.
  • Author
"...Sort of," Terra responded, cautious with his answer. Aqua didn't look pleased, not that he had expected her to. She never did like being out of the loop.
"We're worried about you, Terra," Aqua said, speaking for herself and Ven as well. It was obvious that he was worried about the Knight, since he was like an older brother to Ven.
  • Author
"Sorry," Terra said, faintly shaking his head. "I'm fine." That wasn't completely true, but at least he wasn't physically injured.
Aqua tilted her head slightly, her eyes on Terra's. "If you were really alright, you would have told us when and why you were leaving," she pointed out softly, her eyes holding concern for him. She couldn't help it; he was a mess lately.
  • Author
Terra broke eye contact with Aqua at that, the man lifting a hand and running it over the back of his hair as he sighed. "It's personal," he said softly.
"Alexandra?" Aqua asked, leaning forward slightly. She gazed softly at Terra, thinking that was why he came all this way. But why the books?
  • Author
"Not exactly," Terra said, faintly shaking his head. This was triggered by what happened with Alexandra, but his search really wasn't about her. It was about something that was even worse than that.
Aqua lifted her eyebrows in silence at that, curious. So, if it wasn't Alexandra, what was it? Why did Terra come to Radiant Garden, and why was he digging through all of these books?
  • Author
"...I just, have been thinking about the past lately," Terra said, lowering his hand to the table and letting his gaze land on that. "I had some questions that I wanted answers to." Questions about Xehanort.
Aqua let her gaze leave Terra and switch to all of the books piled on the table. "And you thought they would be in these books..." she said softly, the words not coming out as a question. It was pretty obvious.
  • Author
"Yes," Terra confirmed with a faint nod. That was what he had been hoping for, but so far, he was being proven wrong. Worthless books...And a waste of his time. He was so frustrated and tired he felt like he could snap if Aqua asked the wrong question.
"...What answers were you even hoping to find?" Aqua asked quietly, feeling like she needed to in this abandoned library. She reached for one of them, picking it up and flipping through it absently. "They're so old..."
