Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Terra didn't want to answer, but he knew that he had to do it. "...I wanted to find out about Xehanort," he admitted quietly, his tone hard at the mention of the man.
Aqua stopped flipping through the book in her hands at that, looking up at Terra. Xehanort? What did he want to know about him?
  • Author
Terra looked up at Aqua, seeing her expression. "Just...after everything happened years ago, we never really got a chance to reflect on everything. And that's what I'm doing now." The betrayal...He needed to more about Master Xehanort and how long he had planned to betray him and Master Eraqus.
"Oh," Aqua said softly with a nod, looking back down at the book in her hands. "What books have you even been reading? Records?" She set the book down on the table that she had been holding and rounded the corner of the table to look at the books piled up on one side of Terra.

"I've been looking for anything that can tell me about Xehanort's past," Terra said, shutting the book in front of him when he realized that it was another useless one. At this rate, he would never have answers to his questions.
Aqua read the titles of some of the books and she furrowed her eyebrows. "If that's what you're looking for, skimming through these won't do you any good," she said. "Have you tried finding an autobiography or diary of some sort?"
  • Author
"No, Aqua," Terra snapped with some impatience in his tone. He hadn't found anything of the sort in this library. That was why he looked at books that caught his attention and seemed like they had potential.
Aqua caught the small bite in Terra's tone and looked over at him. "Well...why not? They could help," she said quietly. Certainly some personal reports of some kind had to be here, right?
  • Author
"Because I can't find any journals in this dump," Terra snapped, pushing the book off the desk in front of him. It landed in the pile next to the desk along with all the rejects, the man's impatience, stress, and tiredness coming through.
Aqua blinked, her eyes on the book that Terra shoved. Her eyes then slowly found him again, the air in the room suddenly filled with tension. She was actually a little hesitant to say anything else...

Pull it together, Terra, the man told himself. He was taking out his anger on Aqua, and she didn't deserve it. He lifted a hand to his forehead, his elbow on the table. "Sorry," he said softly, his tone calmer now.
Aqua frowned slightly, but nodded. "Mm," she hummed softly, turning her gaze to the books that were all over the table. These wouldn't work, so she might as well go put them back. She started gathering some in her hands in a small pile, prepared to find their proper places.

Terra heard Aqua start gathering the books, and he remained still. He shut his eyes and swallowed, forcing down his emotions. Seriously, he couldn't let his exhaustion get to him. Not with Aqua here...
Aqua glanced over at Terra, her gaze softening when she looked at him. But she forced her feet to move, taking her toward the right section for these books.

But Terra couldn't help but feel more emotional because of how tired he was. And this was important to him. And he couldn't do anything to get answers. It was so frustrating...
Aqua tried not to let the stiffness of the silence get to her as she walked from row to row, finding the right places to return the books Terra had gotten out. She finally managed to put the last book away, at least for the pile in her hands, and headed back toward the area her friend was in.

Focus, Terra told himself. That was what he had to do now. He exhaled a soft breath and took his hand away from his forehead, taking a book from the pile next to him and flipping it open. He looked at it with tired eyes, not really reading but just staring at the page.
Aqua went back to the table and started piling books atop each other, but her eyes found Terra without trying. She saw the look on his face and his posture and she stopped what she was doing. She rounded another edge of the table and stopped next to him in silence, gently grabbing the cover of the book and starting to shut it.
  • Author
Terra felt aggravated that Aqua shut the book, but he didn't let anger surface. Instead of showing that, he just felt weary. He was no closer to figuring this out than he was at the start. If anything, he had more questions now. He kept his gaze down, a soft breath of tiredness leaving him. He was sick of this searching.
"...I think you've had enough for one day," Aqua said quietly to Terra, her hand still on top of the book he had tried reading. He looked exhausted.
  • Author
"I'm fine," Terra protested weakly, keeping his gaze on the book that Aqua was keeping shut. He couldn't give up on his search now...This book could possibly have the answers to his questions.
"You can look more after you've had some sleep," Aqua insisted, looking down at her best friend with soft eyes. "When was the last time you got some rest, Terra?" He didn't look like he got some within the last 24 hours, that was for sure. How long had he even been here?
  • Author
Terra kept the gaze on the book, thinking about it. He hadn't been keeping track of time when he was in the library, but he was aware that he was up when it was dark last night and it was getting dark again now. It had been at least 36 hours, but he felt like it was more than that. "I don't remember," he responded softly.
Aqua felt her concern grow at the answer, and she used her hand to push the book farther away. "You should get some now," she said. Terra needed to sleep; then he could think more clearly.
  • Author
"No," Terra said softly, not moving. "I need to sort this out." He needed to find out more about the man who caused him so much agony in the past. Xehanort's spirit wasn't with him anymore, but the memories were starting to hurt him again. He recalled those feelings of betrayal because of Alexandra, but Aqua probably didn't realize that.
