Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Someday, things will be alright, Sora thought, feeling Kairi's sadness along with his own. He would do everything he could to stay optimistic while he was here so that Kairi would be the same as he was. Things would work out eventually.

Riku sat on his legs, staring down at his best friend's body. How could he let this happen? He was supposed to have Sora's back. He was supposed to be his big brother and protect him at all costs. But...he let him get hurt...and even worse, lose his heart. What kind of friend was he for doing that? What kind of comrade?

It took a little while, but Aqua finally got herself to the point where she could move and function. There was still ice in certain parts of her armor, keeping it frozen, but she could at least sit up now. The young woman was doing so now, lifting her hands and pulling off her helmet to breathe some fresh air.

Terra looked at Aqua's face, seeing that she hadn't changed a bit since the last time he saw her. Except right now, she looked...sad. He immediately knew why that was: Sora. He set a hand on her shoulder, that being the best support he could offer at the moment.
Aqua lifted her head to look at Terra. He already knew how she was feeling, and she knew it was because they were so close as friends. But...Riku and Sora were close too, and now... The Keyblade Master looked ahead, her eyes softening at the way Riku sat in front of Sora. She was glad she couldn't see his face; that would have triggered more emotions.

Terra squeezed Aqua's shoulder lightly, trying to get her attention. He knew that she was upset, but unfortunately, there was no time to dwell on the things that had just happened here. He had seen that other heart float up into the sky, and even though he was out of the loop, he knew that the heart belonged to his younger best friend. Ventus's heart was on its way back to him, wherever he was.
Aqua's blue eyes returned to her best friend at the motion, the girl wondering what it was that he needed from her. She was so...lost and distracted by what just happened that she couldn't think straight. It was awful.

Terra looked at Aqua, keeping his hand on her shoulder and hoping he would understand that he was trying to remind her of Ventus. He didn't know where his friend was, but he had a feeling that Aqua did. She had been with him when things unfolded years ago, after all.
Aqua furrowed her eyebrows as she tried to take in the vibe from Terra, and once she understood it, she lowered her gaze. Ven... His heart was free, and that meant he had to be waking up. She smiled a little despite the situation a few yards away, her weak expression being lifted to Terra as she nodded. She understood. It was time to go.

Terra nodded slightly, taking his hand off of Aqua's shoulder and rising to his feet. His Keyblade came out of the ground when he was fully upright, the man having been holding onto it after he stabbed it into the ground in the first place. It was time for Aqua to get Ven; he would remain here while she took care of him.
Aqua let her gaze fall on the dirt ground, reaching for her Keyblade that had been frozen as well. It would take time to thaw out, though she hoped a Fire spell would put an end to all this ice. The young woman stabbed her Keyblade into the ground and used it for support, wincing as she rose to her feet, still sore from Master Xehanort's attacks.

Terra watched his friend rise, wishing that he could help somehow. But he couldn't, so he focused on the boy who could use the Keyblade because of him. He couldn't help but feel pity, seeing how much Riku loved his friend. Even when he was younger, it had been clear to Terra how much Riku cared about Sora. They were like brothers...like him and Ven.
Aqua summoned her Keyblade away and tucked her helmet under her arm, releasing a soft sigh as she stood next to Terra. Her eyes were currently locked on the back of Riku's head, knowing that she needed to tell him it was time to go. It wouldn't be easy, but it had to be done. Aqua walked forward then, toward the oldest teen.

Terra stayed where he was, watching Aqua walk forward towards Riku. He knew that she would try to be comforting, but at the same time, she had to be as eager to see Ven as he was. He wished he could go see him himself, but he couldn't leave this place. That was just how things were.

Aqua walked forward a few more feet before stopping slightly behind Riku. She glanced at Sora and closed her eyes for a second, taking in a breath. Afterward, she opened her eyes and focused on the silver-haired teen, reaching forward and setting a hand on his shoulder. "Riku," she tried softly, and upon the touch, Aqua felt him tense under her hand. "...It's time for us to go."

Riku closed his eyes, flexing his jaw at the situation here. "...Alright," he finally said after a minute, nodding faintly. He understood.

Terra stood by in silence, hearing the conversation between Riku and Aqua. He knew he hadn't made a mistake giving Riku his Keyblade; he had grown up just as he had pictured it. But that didn't mean that he didn't regret it at this moment, since it created a lot of pain for Riku and Sora. The Keyblade...It was a blessing and a curse.

Aqua took her hand back and stood up straight. She looked from Riku to Sora, and she looked away in discomfort. I'm sorry, Sora, she apologized mentally. It would do no good to speak it aloud now.

Riku leaned forward then, reaching for each of Sora's arms. He silently crossed them over his best friend's stomach, prepared to pick him up. He wasn't about to leave him here...not in a place that went by the name of graveyard. The oldest teen carefully put his arms underneath Sora's legs and shoulders, using his strength to get up from the ground. He looked down at his friend in his arms and frowned, turning around. "Sorry, buddy," he whispered weakly to Sora's body. Riku briefly glanced at Aqua as he stepped past her, heading in Terra's direction to get to the ship.

Terra couldn't help but look at Riku and Sora, remembering how he had been forced to take care of Ventus when his Master tried to hurt him. But the damage was much worse here, considering that Sora's heart was gone. He silently hoped that they could find it again...someday.
As Riku approached Terra, his gaze lifted to the person in the armor. Because of it, he didn't know what the real man behind the mask would actually look like. Regardless, he was grateful to Terra for saving Sora's body. Riku walked by him with Sora in his hold, tearing his gaze away once he was past.

When Riku was past, Terra shifted his gaze to Aqua. She knew what needed to be done, so he trusted that she would get back to Ventus right away so that he wasn't too confused when he woke up alone.
Aqua composed herself after exhaling a breath, turning around and meeting the gaze that she felt against her. She walked forward then, starting to approach her best friend. "After I get Ven, we're coming back for you," she said, stopping in front of Terra. "I promise." She wasn't going to leave him behind, in this place, like she did eleven years ago.

Terra silently nodded, looking at his friend in front of him. Even before she promised it, he had known that she would come back. They were friends forever. They had been apart for a long time, but now was their time to set things right. Starting with Ven.
"Mm," Aqua hummed shortly with a nod, eyebrows furrowed now in seriousness. She tore her eyes away from Terra and walked past him, heading towards the Gummi Ship that Riku was just now boarding. It was time to go get Ven.

A little while later, a young boy awakened from what felt like a very long nap after his heart found him in a place that he didn't even know. But he chose to ignore it, too drowsy to really care. Ventus yawned sleepily, lifting a hand and rubbing at his eyes as he tried to awaken. Unknown to him, one of his dear friends was very close, and her appearance would surely awaken him completely when he saw her.
Aqua approached the door that led to the fifth floor of the castle, stopping when she knew she was at the right spot. She briefly glanced over her shoulder at Riku, who was still carrying Sora; he hadn't been far from his best friend since they left the Keyblade Graveyard, but she didn't state opinions, or even think them. Instead, Aqua turned forward, summoning her Keyblade to her hand. It was time to free Ventus.

Ventus lowered his hands, sighing tiredly and allowing his eyes to fall shut. Why was he always like this when he woke up? He was so sleepy, and he couldn't think of any reason to that. How long was he asleep, anyway? He didn't remember falling asleep in this place...
