Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Terra looked down at the ground in thought, trying not to let his sadness and frustration surface again. He had been hopeful when Ven said he had information, but he wasn't able to help too much with Terra's larger questions. Was he ever going to sort this out?
Aqua didn't sense any awkwardness from the silence between her and Terra on their walk back home, but she did sense a bit of tension. Why was that?

Right now, Terra had no more ideas about where to search. Radiant Garden was out, and so was this secret lab that Ventus had found. It seemed like he wasn't going to ever sort this out; Xehanort was too careful to keep his life a secret.
Aqua glanced over at Terra for a moment, wondering if there was something wrong. Was it Xehanort? She looked to their house up ahead and guessed that was it; he was so set on getting his answers...

Terra walked up the path to the house in silence, sensing Aqua close by. He turned the knob and opened the front door and then walked in, the door staying open so Aqua could also get in. Maybe he just needed to forget this search. It was only causing him heartache. But if he wasn't distracted by this, then he would start thinking about his more recent betrayal.
Aqua walked inside the house and quietly shut the door behind her. Once that was done, she turned her head to look at Terra, concern in her gaze. She wondered if he wanted to talk; maybe it could help clear his head...

Terra kept walking, his head lowering slightly in thought. He was starting to think about her again, and he didn't like it. He had been keeping himself busy lately so that he wouldn't have to face this...But now he had to face his failures with Xehanort and Alexandra at the same time.
"...Terra?" Aqua called softly, staying by the door. Maybe it would be best if they talked about this, to help clear anything that had been unsaid.

Terra stopped in the doorway, his back currently to Aqua. "Hm?" he hummed, looking over his shoulder and seeing out of the corner of his eye that she was standing by the door still. What did she have to say?
"Would you...like to talk?" Aqua asked, linking her hands in front of her a little. Her voice was soft and nearly unsure, since she still didn't feel completely at ease with Terra. Not since that terrible argument over Alexandra.

Terra turned his head so he was facing forward again, his gaze on the floor. "I'm fine," he said softly. "Just...wondering if I should give up this search." They weren't getting anywhere, and they were out of options. And what good would the answers even do him? Maybe it was better he didn't know...
Aqua furrowed her eyebrows slightly in question. "Why?" she asked softly. Why would he give up? He seemed so set on this.
  • Author
"Because, we're not getting anywhere," Terra said matter-of-factly. "And we don't have anywhere else to search for information. Xehanort covered his tracks too well for any of us to figure out more about his life. The answers to my questions died along with him."
Aqua bit her bottom lip, not knowing what to say. She looked down at the ground, thinking that Terra was wrong. Maybe he didn't have to give up for good... Instead, he could just wait a while for more information, maybe.
  • Author
"...And, maybe once I find the answers, I'll wish I hadn't," Terra said softly. Maybe it was too terrible, and he would regret seeking after this. And he was doing this search to avoid facing things with Alexandra too, not that he said that aloud just yet.
"Terra..." Aqua said quietly, not saying anything more. What was she supposed to tell him? He could pursue this and possibly get hurt, or he could not do this and always wonder. She wasn't sure which one was worse.
  • Author
Terra stayed silent now, not knowing what to say. He came close to blabbing about Alexandra's betrayal making him want to do this, but he didn't like bringing her up in front of Aqua. That was still too fresh between the two of them.
"...I wish I could help," Aqua said softly, shaking her head. But, she wasn't sure how. Looking through books was pointless, so what good did that do her previously? Was there anything else she could do?
  • Author
"I know," Terra responded softly. "But there's nothing anybody can do to change this situation." He wasn't sure now if he was referring to Xehanort or Alexandra, but he supposed that it could have been both. He wondered if Aqua would catch onto that or not, even if he hadn't spoken of Alexandra in a long time.
Aqua lifted her gaze to look at Terra, not sure what to say. After Alexandra, Terra's world was turning upside down. It was awful.
  • Author
"It's just how things are," Terra said softly, now mostly talking about Alexandra. She came here to betray him, and she had succeeded in that. But she hadn't killed him, thanks to Aqua.
Aqua furrowed her eyebrows a little. "I have a feeling this isn't just about Xehanort anymore," she said quietly. The tone had gotten much more serious in Terra's voice. Almost dark with...what, exactly?
  • Author
"No, I suppose it isn't," Terra agreed softly, his back still to Aqua. All of it came back to what happened a little while ago, with Alexandra's betrayal. And Aqua was beginning to realize that, wasn't she?
"It's Alexandra, isn't it?" Aqua asked, her tone lower at the thought of the girl. But it was still gentle as well, knowing how sensitive Terra was at the mention of her.
  • Author
"Yes," Terra confessed softly. "I...The feelings of betrayal made me want to look for answers about Xehanort, but I think deep down, I always knew I couldn't get information about him. I just wanted a distraction..." He was admitting this to himself for the first time, and in Aqua's presence. But he didn't really care right now.
