Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Aqua's eyes softened. "Terra," she said. But honestly, she didn't know how to make this any better. Terra's heart was broken.

Terra was silent now, both because of how Aqua said his name and because he didn't know what else to say. They both knew how awful things were with Alexandra, but Aqua didn't know just how bad it was to be betrayed by two people in a lifetime who you let close to your heart. It was terrible.
"Do you think anything will help you feel better?" Aqua asked after a moment, voice gentle. She wanted to help Terra in any way that she could. He was her best friend.
  • Author
"No," Terra said softly, faintly shaking his head. "I don't think so." This situation was terrible, and obviously he wasn't going to get out of it so easily. He made it through the trial with Xehanort because of Master Eraqus inside him, but now he couldn't depend on his Master's strength. This wasn't a battle of Light and Darkness; it was a personal issue with grief and sadness.
Aqua lowered her gaze to the ground. "Oh..." she said softly. In that case, what was she to do? She didn't want to just stand around and watch him suffer.

Terra was quiet now, again not knowing what to say. There really wasn't much more he could say; this was as close as he ever came to exposing his heart to anyone. And Aqua surely knew that, since she knew him better than anyone else. But...He trusted her. A lot.
"If you ever need someone to talk to, Terra, I'm here," Aqua finally told him after a minute of nothing but silence. "I know it must be hard to keep it all inside..." So she was there if he needed to let some of it out. She was his best friend, after all.
  • Author
"Yeah," Terra said softly, also nodding faintly. "I know." He knew that she was there to talk to him, and he knew that it was hard to keep it inside. But he wasn't one to expose his heart to people, especially not after what happened recently.
Aqua nodded once, even though Terra couldn't exactly see it. She knew he probably didn't want to talk about it now, so the offer would stand until later.

Terra turned around, finally facing Aqua. "Thanks," he added, smiling weakly. He really did appreciate Aqua's support, since they butted heads when Alexandra was still around. He was glad that they were still friends after everything.
Aqua smiled weakly. "Sure," she said, voice soft and gentle. Terra needed somebody during this hard time, or she at least believed so. She would be that person if he wanted her to be, and she was sure Ven would to.

Terra looked down towards the ground, finding it important that he asked Aqua a question. "...Aqua, what do you think it's like?" he asked softly. "Really being in love?" Did he even experience it with Alexandra. He had really liked her, but still...Was it love?
"O-oh, um...well," Aqua stuttered. She hadn't expected the question at all, so she looked away as she tried to come up with an answer. How could she explain that?
  • Author
Terra waited patiently at first, able to tell that he caught Aqua off guard. But then he realized that this could get awkward. "Sorry," he said after a moment. "You don't have to answer that." Where did that question come from, anyway?
"It's alright," Aqua said quietly, glancing up at Terra before looking down at her linked hands. She'd only seen once what pure love was like, and that was the moment she met two young people on this island. "But...I think the best example of love would be Sora and Kairi's relationship. It's so...pure."
  • Author
"Mm," Terra hummed, nodding faintly in agreement. Sora and Kairi...The two teens who were wise and mature beyond their years. They seemed to understand what love was, and they truly loved each other. Even if Terra didn't completely understand love, he knew that Aqua was right.
Aqua smiled weakly at the thought of her two friends, the girl she met many years ago and the boy that had done a remarkable job rescuing the worlds and the people he cared for. "Look at them," Aqua started softly, "and I'm sure you'll see what I do."
  • Author
Terra looked up at Aqua, a very faint smile tugging at his lips. "Yeah," he said, nodding faintly again in agreement. He thought that he already could see something, since those two seemed to be the epitome of love. And whether Aqua realized it or not, she just proved to him that love existed. And that meant a lot.
Aqua glanced up at Terra and her smile remained. She hoped that answered his question; that was the best answer that she found within herself.
  • Author
Terra let the silence linger for a few moments before he lifted a hand and ran it over his hair. "...Anyway," he said. "...Let's get some rest." They may have gotten sidetracked, but he was still tired.
"Right," Aqua said with a small nod. She unlinked her hands and started walking forward to where Terra was, since that was the way upstairs.
  • Author
Terra actually stood still, though he wasn't really waiting for Aqua so that they could walk together. Instead, when she was by him, he lifted a hand and set it on her shoulder. "Thanks," he said quietly in appreciation. She was a good friend.
Aqua lifted her eyes to Terra then, feeling the weight of his hand on her shoulder. She smiled softly. "Of course, Terra," she said gently.
  • Author
Aqua's small smile brought one out of Terra, and he squeezed her shoulder lightly before he took his hand back. He motioned for her to walk first, acting like the gentleman that Master Eraqus had trained him to be.
Aqua tore her eyes away from Terra's and reacted to his sweet gesture, walking through the doorway and towards the stairs. It was time for them both to rest.
