Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora was currently standing with Kairi over by the side with Ven and Terra, the brunet's bright blue eyes following Aqua and Riku coming back. He had seen that dance...Well, part of it. And he was wondering if he should take the opportunity to tease Riku about it or not.

Kairi saw Riku coming over, Aqua right behind him. "Did you enjoy yourself?" she asked her best friend with a smile, standing next to Sora.

Aqua saw Riku shrug and she shook her head. "He did and he knows it," she said, winking at Terra and Ven. Riku was a fine dancer, whether he thought so or not.

Terra smiled, and Sora smirked at Riku. He couldn't say for sure, but Riku did look like he enjoyed it a little bit. And he really wasn't a terrible dancer, either.
Riku caught Sora's smirk and rolled his eyes. "Let's hear it," he said, stopping next to his best friend and leaning against a table. He knew by that look that Sora had to say something.
  • Author
"Nah," Sora said, shaking his head slightly. He wasn't going to say anything, because he knew that sometimes the teasing went too far between him and Riku. He wouldn't risk upsetting Kairi when he meant to make the night special for her.

Riku smirked a little, shrugging. "Alright then," he said. That worked for him.

Kairi heard a fast song coming on, and she instantly looked to Riku. "My turn!" she said with a wide smile, taking a step past Sora and grabbing Riku's hand.

Riku's eyes widened. "N-no," he said, shaking his head desperately. "I just got done."

"So?" Kairi said, pulling lightly on Riku's hand. When he didn't budge, she gave him a saddened look. He was really going to refuse?

Sora smiled to Riku, motioning with his head to the dance floor. Kairi wouldn't force him to dance for too long, but Riku surely knew that already.

Riku glanced at Sora, seeing that his friend was telling him to go on ahead and satisfy Kairi's needs. Well, since Sora didn't mind... "Alright, alright, no more begging," he said with a small smile, giving in.

"Yay!" Kairi cheered, beaming with happiness. She glanced at Sora with that same smile before dragging Riku quickly back into the crowd on the dance floor.

Sora chuckled at how Kairi dragged him out onto the dance floor, the brunet shaking his head a little. "Well, now she's out of my hair for a little while," he said jokingly to those around him. Of course, all of them knew that he wasn't serious; Kairi was hardly ever a hassle enough that he tried pushing her away.
Aqua linked her hands in front of her, glancing from Sora to where Kairi disappeared to. "She's a sweet girl," she commented lightly. She'd known that from the moment she met Kairi so long ago. Nothing had changed.

Sora looked over at Aqua, his smirk becoming a real smile as he nodded once in agreement. "Yeah, she is," he agreed softly, his eyes showing how he felt about Kairi. She was his angel.
At Sora's response, Aqua's eyes found him. It was then that she saw the look on his face, which made her smile widen slightly. He really cared for her... True love, like she had told Terra.

Sora held Aqua's gaze for a minute before he turned to look out towards the dance floor again, able to see Kairi and Riku from his spot. He could tell that Kairi was having a blast, but he couldn't see Riku's facial expression to see how much he was enjoying himself. Even if he wasn't having fun, he would put on a smile for Kairi's sake since she cherished events like this.
Kairi wasn't aware that the boy she loved was staring at her, the girl continuing to dance. Riku gripped her hands and they danced together, and when he spun her, she laughed aloud. Riku was too a good dancer!

Sora looked back over at the crew next to him, noticing that Terra and Ven were still sitting down. "You guys having fun?" he asked brightly. He thought he saw Terra nod slightly, while Ventus gave a more cheerful "yeah".
Aqua turned her eyes to Terra and Ven at their answers, though she had her speculations. How could Terra be content just sitting there?
  • Author
Terra looked out to the dance floor, not feeling Aqua's gaze on him. He was about to ask Sora how long these events normally lasted, but from what he gathered, this was the first one to be held on Destiny Islands. So, it could either go on for a long, long time or end soon. He preferred the latter.
"You know, Terra," Aqua started, one hand resting on her hip. "If you continue to sit here, some nice girl is going to come ask you to dance." She wasn't sure who, but Terra was actually...attractive. Surely some girl would see that.
  • Author
Terra looked up, shrugging. "What, would it be better if I was standing?" he asked, half-joking. He didn't want to be asked to dance, especially not by a stranger. Because if somebody approached him at an event like this, then it was probably because they wanted something to come out of their dance, like a relationship. And he wasn't ready for that.
Aqua shook her head, rolling her eyes slightly. "Boys," she said. Their sarcasm could be quite humorous, but still... She hoped Terra got the point.
  • Author
Terra caught onto Aqua's remark, so he shifted his attention to the other people around him. Ven and Sora wisely weren't saying anything that would get Aqua's attention, but unfortunately, Terra had a feeling Aqua wouldn't leave him alone so easily. He didn't want to dance with a girl, not after what happened with the last girl he was close to...
Aqua tore her eyes away from Terra to look around the large room. She saw plenty of girls chatting, and she was sure one of them would come approach Terra eventually. He would see what she meant. "Anyone want some punch?" Aqua asked, glancing at the boys again. She was quite thirsty.
  • Author
"Nah, I'm good," Sora said, hearing the other two boys give similar responses. He had gotten a drink earlier, when he and Kairi first stopped dancing. And surely Ven and Terra had drinks as well, since they couldn't have just sat around the past 20 minutes or so without being bored. That was how long Ven hadn't been dancing, anyway.
"Alright then," Aqua said with a nod, turning around and walking past a group of people. Her heels clicked along the wooden floor as she started toward the refreshments.

Once Aqua was out of hearing range, Sora looked at Terra in his seat. "She doesn't seem happy that you're not dancing," he stated. "Maybe you should dance with somebody just to make her happy?"

Terra shrugged, hands clasped in front of him and his elbows on his knees. "She'll get over it," he said simply. She was having fun at the dance whether he participated or not, so him not dancing wasn't going to ruin the night for her.
