Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Terra stopped, standing forward and gazing at the ocean. "I don't understand," he mumbled softly to nobody in particular. Everything was happening so quickly. First Alexandra, then his phase with Xehanort, then depression about Alexandra, and now a crush on his best friend. Where was all of this coming from? What feelings were even real anymore? He felt alarmed at the natural warmth he felt when he thought of Aqua. Did he...love her?
Aqua stopped by the ocean for a moment, but then she turned her head, seeing footprints in the sand. They looked like those belonging to dress shoes, which Terra had been wearing. The young woman decided to go in that direction to find him, her heart leading her that way without real reason. Or maybe there was a reason, and she just didn't see it yet.

Terra sighed, looking up at the stars. He remembered then something his master told him about the stars in the sky. You saw ones with all different brightness, but somewhere out there, there was a star that shone with the same exact strength. And then, he compared that to love. Just like each star had a pair, so did each person. He just had to focus on their Light and brightness to find the one that matched him. But the universe was too big for him to find his partner, or so he thought. Was Aqua the one he was destined to be with? Or did somebody do something to the punch that was making him think crazy, stupid thoughts?
Aqua looked down at the ground as she walked, her free hand holding her dress up slightly. Her bare feet touched the sand, but the moonlight touched her dress, making it shiny. She never noticed that until now. Regardless, she lifted her gaze, seeing a figure not too far ahead. Terra?

No, nobody put drugs in the punch, Terra thought, mentally scolding himself. What kind of a dumb idea was that? He kept his gaze upward, hands by his side as he stood calmly by the shore. He really didn't know what he felt. And he certainly couldn't sort it out in just a few minutes. He'd have to think about it a lot, and maybe, if he had the strength, he could ask Aqua if she was feeling anything towards him other than friendship. But what if she said no? Then he would feel like such an idiot...
"...Terra?" Aqua called, tilting her head slightly as she continued walking through the sand. She was sure that was him, given the outline of his spiky hair in the dim lighting.

Terra blinked at the call, turning around and seeing a girl coming towards him. He almost didn't recognize Aqua because of how her dress shone in the moonlight, but he recognized her voice before that anyway. "Hm?" he hummed automatically, seeing her nearby. What was she doing out here?
Aqua kept walking toward Terra, seeing his face faintly from where she was. "What're you doing all the way out here?" she asked. He was quite a distance from the building where the ball was being held.
  • Author
"Getting fresh air," Terra responded with a weak smirk. "Remember?" That was why he said he was going out in the first place. And in this spot, he couldn't hear any noise from the ball. It was a good place to think, about everything.
Aqua glanced down at the ground at the reminder, smiling weakly. "That's right," she said, having forgotten. Oh well. She continued toward the boy regardless, making footprints in the sand.

"What are you doing out here?" Terra asked in curiosity, seeing Aqua get closer. Did she...follow him? Did she have something to say, about the dance? Or maybe he was analyzing everything too much.
Aqua glanced up at Terra at the question, not really knowing the answer. But ultimately, now that she thought about it, it was obvious. "I was looking for you," she said softly, coming to a stop a foot from him. She hadn't realized it until now. How strange...

Terra felt his heart start beating faster inside his chest, but on the outside, he remained composed. "Me?" he asked softly, not needing to speak loud since she was right in front of him. "How come?"
Aqua looked down again, not sure how to answer that either. She traced lines in the sand with her toes, thinking about it. "I guess..." she started quietly, "...I just felt like I needed to find you." She wasn't sure why, exactly, but it was true. He left the ballroom and she felt kind of...out of the loop.
  • Author
"Oh," Terra said, nodding slightly and looking down to see what Aqua was doing in the sand. Something strange is definitely going on here, he thought. It was like...they were connected, somehow. But that was impossible. They weren't connected that way.
"Mm," Aqua hummed quietly at Terra's reply, not knowing how else to respond. She pulled her dress up a little more, revealing her calf as she tried to see what designs she was making in the sand. It was actually starting to look like her Wayfinder. How ironic.
  • Author
Terra felt himself blush a little when Aqua lifted her dress, and he shifted his gaze to the sand. This was so...strange. They had silence linger between them before, but it never felt like this. There was some tension, but not in a bad way. It was the most bizarre thing he ever experienced emotion wise.
Aqua smiled to herself and drew another piece of the star-shaped charm. "...An unbreakable connection," she whispered softly, remembering the day she'd given the Wayfinders to her best friends. They worked, because they were all together. Close, just like they were supposed to be.
  • Author
Upon hearing the words, Terra reached into the pocket of his pants and pulled out a familiar charm. His Wayfinder, which he carried with him all places that he could. He liked the feeling of security it provided, the man knowing that he and his friends really did have an unbreakable connection. But, what exactly was the connection between him and Aqua? Was it just one of friendship, or was it something more?
Aqua looked up at Terra, wanting to tell him to look at what she drew, but she saw the charm in his hand. "...You brought that with you?" she asked without thought, her eyes on the orange-tinted charm. She didn't know that he would carry it with him to the ball...
  • Author
"Always," Terra said softly, glancing from the charm in his hand to Aqua. He held it whenever he could, because it meant something to him. Like Aqua said, it reminded him of the unbreakable connection he had with those he loved.
Aqua's eyes lifted to find the blue ones that belonged to Terra, a small smile forming on her face. She usually carried hers on her as well, but she couldn't exactly do that tonight.
  • Author
Terra felt a small smile appear on his lips at the sight of Aqua's, and the look in her eyes. He then glanced down at the charm before he put it back in his pocket for safe keeping, his eyes going back to Aqua then.
"Did you ever lose it?" Aqua asked, referring to the charm. While he wasn't himself for the longest time, the past eleven years, how did he keep a hold of it? Surely Xehanort didn't want to carry it around...
  • Author
Terra folded his arms over his chest, thinking about it. "...I don't remember," he said after a few moments of thought. The time when Xehanort possessed his body was all a blur. And the man probably didn't carry the Wayfinder...Did some magic take place where it appeared in his pocket when he regained his body? That was his best guess.
