Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Aqua released her dress now, letting it cover her leg once more. Well, she guessed it didn't matter if Terra lost it or not. It was just important that he had it now, and flattering; she'd made those right before their exam. Even if they were just experiments, they turned out to do wonders, and she put so much work into them. She appreciated that he and Ven kept theirs.

"...Do you think, that they were really responsible for keeping us all together?" Terra asked quietly, lifting his gaze to the stars. "Or was it destiny?" Was it destiny that they would all be together? Or did the Wayfinders take it upon themselves to keep them friends?
Aqua looked at Terra for a moment, just gazing at the side of his face while he looked up at the stars. "That's...a difficult question to answer," she admitted softly, lowering her eyes to the water rolling in nearby. She would like to think it was the power of her talisman, but destiny sounded so much stronger.

But that's not the hardest question I have to ask, Terra thought, keeping his gaze upward. He had so many hard questions, about where he and Aqua stood, what his feelings for her were, if she returned them, and what would happen to them in the future, couple or not.
"If anything, Terra," Aqua started after a moment of silence, her eyes still on the water, "I would like it to be destiny. That's with us every day, while our charms could be gone someday." She certainly hoped that never happened, since they all treasured them greatly. But what happened, happened.

"Mm," Terra hummed in understanding, Aqua's words bringing him back to the matter at hand. That's right, the Wayfinders. He needed to stop daydreaming and focus on the conversation.
Aqua brought her eyes to rest on Terra once more when a silence came between them. But, she didn't find it completely comfortable. Something in the air was causing some tension, something she hadn't felt with Terra before.

Terra looked back down at Aqua to find her staring at him, and he smiled weakly in shyness. "So..." he said, though he felt like an idiot afterward for saying something so dumb. He could have thought of something better than that, couldn't he have?
Aqua tucked a stray hair from her pinned up style behind her ear, smiling weakly. "Is there something on your mind, Terra?" she asked softly, not meaning to ask so bluntly. But, he just seemed like he wasn't completely with her right now.

Terra was surprised at the bluntness of Aqua's comment, but he smiled weakly to cover that up. "Yeah, I guess so," he responded quietly. He had a lot of "somethings" on his mind. And one of them was the girl standing in front of him.
Aqua tilted her head, her eyes showing concern. "Anything you're willing to talk about?" she asked. She hoped Terra remembered her offer: she was there if he ever needed anything, always.

Terra turned to look at the ocean, though that didn't mean that he wasn't going to talk. "I'm just...thinking about the future," he said, looking out at the ocean. "And what's going to happen." Were his feelings for Aqua real? Should he pursue them? Was it their destiny to be together?
"Mm," Aqua hummed, following Terra's gaze to the ocean. "The future can be a scary thing." She didn't like to think about it sometimes, terrified that it would hold only Darkness. She wanted the opposite.

"It can be," Terra agreed with a nod. But it could also be filled with hope, right? For so long, he hoped to be free of Xehanort, and eventually he was. That should have made him an optimistic person, but often times he was grave because he feared the Darkness that haunted him in the past could return in the future.
Aqua watched the water roll up gently before going back out, standing there in silence. She was quite curious as to what specifically Terra was thinking about, but it wasn't any of her business. She wouldn't ask anymore of him.

"I think...everything's going to be different from now on," Terra said, shifting his gaze to the stars. Aqua probably wouldn't know what he was talking about, but he would keep talking anyway if she was there to listen.
Aqua turned her head to look at Terra, though her eyes were soft now with concern. "Terra..." she said quietly. "I know that you liked Alexandra, but..." He had to let her go; she was a terrible, terrible person. He couldn't dwell on her betrayal.
  • Author
"No," Terra said, speaking before Aqua could finish her sentence. "I'm not talking about her. And I'm not saying that the future is bleak." If anything, he was hoping for the opposite. Aqua was his best friend, after all. And when he thought about it, he could actually see the two of them as being very close in the future.
Aqua blinked at that, slightly surprised. Well, then what was Terra referring to? That had been the only conclusion, other than Xehanort, she could come to. But if he wasn't talking about Darkness in the future, what was he talking about?
  • Author
"...I don't know," Terra said after a few moments, keeping his gaze up at the stars. "It just feels like things are going to change." Especially with his and Aqua's relationship, though he wasn't going to say that verbally. He had to think over everything more before he brought up such a sensitive topic with her.
"Oh," Aqua said, lowering her gaze as she nodded a little. Change could be good, depending on what it was. But, it could also be bad.

Terra didn't say anything after that, not really knowing what to say. These feelings were still stirring in his heart, and shockingly, they were stronger than what he felt for Alexandra. He thought he really liked her...He did, but his heart was telling him that he had stronger feelings for Aqua. Crazy.
"...Well, if you would like a few moments alone, I understand," Aqua said, moving her hand to grip her dress again. "I should be getting back anyway." If they weren't occupied with something else, their friends may have been wondering where she was, since they knew Terra was out here.

"I think I'll come back too," Terra said, turning around to face Aqua. "We still have to show off for the others, right?" he asked, a small grin appearing on his face. They had to show off their dance skills.
Aqua found herself smiling at that. "That's right," she said with a nod. She had momentarily forgotten that, but now that Terra reminded her, she was going to request the DJ play something of the sort.
