A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"Alright then," Terra said with a nod, his grin turning into a regular smile as he looked to Aqua. "Let's go." He motioned for her to start walking first, the man a perfect gentleman.

Aqua tore her eyes away from Terra for that moment, turning and starting back the way she'd come. She was looking forward to the rest of the night.

Terra glanced back at the stars and the ocean for just a brief moment before he started forward, his footsteps a little quicker to catch up with Aqua. When he was beside her, he went at her pace, his gaze on the building up ahead.

Aqua walked with Terra back to the building, and after stepping back onto the cobblestone, the woman realized she needed to put her heels back on. She lifted her free hand without thought, setting it on Terra's shoulder above her. "Just a second," she said softly, smiling a little. She hoped he didn't mind helping her keep balance.

Terra looked down at Aqua, confused at first about her hand on his shoulder and her words before he saw her shoes. Ah, she needed to put on her heels again. "Alright," he said, nodding slightly and trying to ignore the feelings he got from Aqua's hand on his shoulder. He really did like her, didn't he?

Aqua let go of Terra briefly to hold one of her shoes with a finger, but then she set her hand back on his arm. She lifted her foot behind her slightly and started to slide her heel on, her grip tightening on Terra slightly so she wouldn't fall over.

Don't freak out...Don't freak out...Terra thought, feeling like some pathetic high school boy being hit on by the popular girl. Aqua surely didn't mean anything by the touch, either, so that gave him more reason to stay calm. He kept his gaze on the ground by where Aqua was standing, giving her support by standing still.

Aqua finished that shoe quickly, and then she switched her grip. Her free hand now found Terra as she went to put her other shoe on. She may have been graceful, but even she needed some support sometimes.

Terra remained calm and composed on the outside, even if his heart was beating irregularly inside his chest. Was he seriously getting sick to his stomach right now? How pathetic was that?

Aqua set her foot back down when her heels were properly on, and she looked up at Terra. "Thanks," she said, releasing his arm.

"No problem," Terra said with a small smile and a nod, meaning it. He didn't care if he and Aqua weren't anything special, he would always support her, physically or emotionally. She was his best friend.

Aqua smiled faintly up at the man before her, before she heard cheers from inside. Her head turned forward immediately, and she didn't doubt that the screams were for the new song choice.

Terra looked forward when Aqua did, hearing the loudness of the crowd. "C'mon," he said, lifting a hand and setting it on Aqua's upper back to guide her toward the doors.

"Mm," Aqua hummed, feeling Terra's hand on her exposed skin, which was so due to her dress. His hands, they were warm on her back. Was she cold? No, the night was quite cozy. The woman started walking, ignoring her thoughts.

Terra started forward with Aqua, keeping his hand on her upper back even though she was walking. He didn't understand...This felt too natural. He was nervous but he knew how to act and how to subtly...flirt, was that the word? But he also thought it was odd that he was acting this way with his best friend. His heart, though, told him that this was how he was supposed to act.

Aqua looked around the room, her hands linked together in front of her. She walked at a liesurely pace next to Terra, whose hand she never neglected to notice was still on her back. There was a weird feeling erupting within her heart, but she didn't understand what it was...

Terra looked around the room and saw everybody dancing already, and the DJ by himself at his spot. "I'm gonna talk to the DJ," he said to Aqua beside him, continuing to walk with her a few steps since the DJ was in the direction they were heading.

Aqua turned her head to look up at Terra, and she nodded. "Alright," she said with a small smile. She assumed he was going to talk to the DJ about a specific song choice, which was perfectly alright with her. It would be fun to dance with him again, and to show their skills in a ballroom.

Terra smiled faintly and nodded, taking his hand off Aqua's back. He noticed his fingers ran over her skin for a split second when he withdrew, but he didn't focus on it. He turned and started for the DJ, trusting that he'd be able to find Aqua once he filed a request.

Aqua's grasp on her hands tightened slightly at the feeling that coursed through her, Terra's fingers trailing briefly over her back causing that. She watched him walk away, coming to a halt. What was going on? She glanced around for her friends. There must be something wrong with me, Aqua thought silently, trying to dismiss it. But it wouldn't be so easy.

Terra had to weave his way through the crowd to get to the DJ, and once he was there, it took a few minutes to find a song that would work for him and Aqua to dance to. When he finally chose one, the DJ promised to play it once the current song ended. So Terra started walking away, looking for Aqua again.

Aqua managed to find the others not long after Terra left her, and she could see that they all still looked quite happy. That was good; it meant they were having fun. That was what this night was supposed to be about.

Terra caught onto Aqua standing with the rest of their friends, so he headed over there. He came over by the edge of the circle, coincidentally standing near Aqua because of where he came out of the crowd. "All set," he said to her, a smile starting to appear on his lips.

Aqua turned her head to look over her shoulder slightly, seeing Terra. "Wonderful," she said, her lips spreading into a pleased smile. She was curious as to which style they would be dancing to, but she trusted Terra's judgement.

 

"All set for what?" Roxas asked, unable to help overhearing. He arched an eyebrow in Terra and Aqua's direction. Were they planning something?

"You'll see," Terra said with a smirk, looking over in Roxas's direction. The song would be starting soon enough, so his friends wouldn't be kept in suspense for long.

 

"Wait a second..." Ventus said, eyebrows furrowing slightly as he looked from Aqua to Terra. If those two were doing something at a ball, it certainly wasn't anything reckless like a food fight. They were too classy...And then that was when he thought of it. They're going to show off their skills, aren't they?
