A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Aqua's gaze left Roxas and switched to Ven, who caused her to lightly giggle. By the look on his face, she knew he already had it; he knew her and Terra too well to remain clueless.

Terra heard the music change then, so he looked back at Aqua. He took a step back and offered his hand, his smirk fading a little into a regular grin. Time to show off.

Aqua caught Terra's movement and her eyes found him, locating his hand held out to her. She felt her smile turn warm, and a little devious at the fact that they were going to be boasting. Oh well. She took Terra's hand with her own, ready.

 

Kairi looked at Terra and Aqua curiously, also feeling that way due to the music echoing throughout the ballroom. Nobody seemed to be dancing anymore, but her friends were going to. So, did that mean they knew how to dance to this type of music?

Terra smirked at Aqua's expression, the man feeling a bit devious himself. Regardless, he lightly grasped Aqua's hand and started to lead her out to the dance floor.

Aqua heard her heels clicking against the smooth floor as she followed Terra, holding his hand. It seemed that no one knew how to dance to this music, since some had cleared the dance floor while others attempted at it; that only made Aqua want to giggle.

"What are they doing?" Sora asked in confusion, seeing that the dance floor was clearing off and Terra and Aqua were going in. Was this set-up somehow? And Terra was actually dancing? Earlier that night, he hadn't wanted to dance at all. What changed?

"Not sure," Riku said with a shake of his head. He crossed his arms over his chest, furrowing his eyebrows as he watched his friends walk away. It looked like they were planning to dance, but...how were they going to dance?

"They're going to show off," Ven answered, keeping his eyes on his friends on the dance floor when the music picked up and the dance started. They were so skilled, and they probably figured it would be fun to show off to the other ball guests for a little while.

Kairi felt her gaze turn into one of wonder at Ven's statement. Show off, he said? Well, this would certainly be interesting.

Sora moved up a little so he could see past the crowd, which was already surrounding the floor and watching Terra and Aqua dance. And he could tell why they were doing that; those two were excellent dancers. If he didn't know better, he would have thought they were professionals.

Aqua spun out, her dress swirling around her feet. By the time she was completely out, she still had a hold on one of Terra's hands. Her eyes found his immediately before she started spinning back to him, memorizing the steps of this dance. She was so focused on it that she neglected to notice all of the eyes on them.

Terra skillfully moved his feet to the dance, also interacting with Aqua and her spin. The music he picked was actually perfect to dance to with Aqua, and he was pleased he made a good choice. He noticed how he and Aqua were only paying attention to each other, and it made his heart feel warm.

As the music progressed, Aqua found that her smile was gone. She was focusing intently on the steps, but also Terra. This was a style of dance that required intense concentration, not only on your feet, but on your dance partner. Terra just happened to be hers, and looking into his eyes like this, it left a strange feeling lingering within her.

Namine stood up on her toes a little bit, not tall enough to see past some of the crowd even in her heals. From what she could see, though, Terra and Aqua were incredible. She had no idea they could dance like that.

Riku's arms were uncrossed by this point, and he was thankful for his height. He could see everything, and he definitely didn't want to miss this. Where did Terra and Aqua learn to dance like that?

"...Wow," Sora murmured, seeing Terra and Aqua perform another challenging dance move. They were awesome at this. He was a bit surprised by that, since they didn't seem like the type who would enjoy dancing.

Kairi heard Sora's whisper and she agreed instantly. "Wow" was right. Terra and Aqua... They were amazing! She had a smile on her face at seeing her friends move so well with one another; it was so smooth and classy. They were like professionals.

The dance came to an end fairly quickly in Terra's perspective, though it also felt like a while because of it's difficulty. Now there was only one more move to pull off. He took a step away, his arm extending fully so that he could pull Aqua close to him in a second.

Aqua knew the next move, and she felt Terra pull her close. It was then that she was immediately glued to him, her body against his as part of the choreography. Her eyes were locked on his blue orbs, her breathing a little uneven from the tough dance.

Terra looked down at Aqua's blue eyes, the music ending just as they finished the last move. All that he heard for a moment was both of their uneven breathing, and then he heard the applause and cheers from every which direction around him. He blinked, tearing his eyes away from Aqua and seeing that everybody had been watching them.

Aqua looked around as well, though she kept her position. She saw her friends first, seeing Kairi and Roxas clapping and cheering with wide smiles. Riku was even whistling at their performance. Aqua's cheeks turned a light pink at the attention, though she should have expected this. After all, she and Terra were showing what they could pull off.

A breathless chuckle left Terra's lips, seeing Sora being excited right alongside all his other friends. And Ven, he was smirking at them and applauding. He knew what they could do, but still, he seemed pleased with the performance. Terra then remembered one more thing he had to do, and he did it them. He held onto Aqua's hand lightly as he took a step back, bowing to his partner.

After Terra bowed to her, Aqua gripped her dress with her free hand and lightly curtsied. She was still a little breathless, but the dance was obviously worth it. Not only did she have fun, but she and Terra provided some entertainment for the others around them.

Terra noticed the crowd start to disperse and a new song start once the gestures and applause were done, but he kept his eyes on Aqua. "Nice job," he said, his breathing still a little irregular. That was pretty fun, and he was still focusing on Aqua so much that he didn't notice his friends heading over.

Aqua's smile softened at the compliment. "You were great," she said back with a small nod. Neither of them had forgotten a thing, not that they really could. They'd had to practice that dance so much in the past. She guessed it all paid off.
