A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"It's out of your way," Namine stated softly, shifting her gaze to the ground. That was the truth; it was around this spot that they would normally split and go in different directions. And coincidentally, Riku's house was in the same direction as Kairi's and Namine's. She really had to go over there to get the truth from him, didn't she?

Roxas lowered his one eyebrow at the words, but also at the fact that Namine wouldn't look at him. "...'Kay," he replied. If that was what she wanted.

Namine was upset that Roxas wouldn't talk to her, but she still didn't think it would be right for her to ignore him completely. What good would that do, anyway? "Goodnight," she said quietly, lifting her gaze to the ocean.

"Yeah... 'Night," Roxas said, his eyes lingering on Namine. He then turned around, heading in the direction they'd originally been traveling. He wasn't up for talking either.

Namine listened to Roxas leave, sad as she gripped her shoes with both hands. She shouldn't have brought up anything sensitive. The night before had been so great, and she just made things end on a sour note. She sighed softly, shutting her eyes and lowering her head. What a mess.

Roxas walked down the beach a little more before approaching a path. He stopped then to slip his shoes back on, and once that was done, he started home. He wasn't sure if Sora would be there or not; he might have been with Kairi.

Namine waited a few minutes before she started in the direction of her home, and Riku's. She didn't like going behind Roxas's back, but it was necessary. She was worried about him...The blonde looked up at Riku's house when she was in front of it, and she could tell that he was already home. She took in a breath in preparation, gripping her dress as she started towards the door. And once she was there, she released the dress and rang the doorbell, nervous but knowing that she had to speak to Riku about this if she wanted to know the truth.

Riku was just coming down the stairs when the doorbell rang, making him furrow his eyebrows. Regardless, he approached the door with Jazzy at his heels. Opening it, he was a little surprised to see Namine, and clearly so was Jasmine, who approached the girl without a second's thought, barking and wagging her tail.

Namine glanced down at Jazzy, smiling weakly but not able to really bend down and pet her because of the dress. She looked up at Riku with the same weak smile, seeing surprise in his expression. "Hi," she said, feeling a little shy and nervous. "I know it's late...But, there's something I wanted to talk to you about. ...Is that okay?" she asked with hesitance. It was nighttime, after all. If he wanted to sleep or something after a busy day, it wasn't fair for her to keep him awake.

"Yeah, sure," Riku said with a nod, stepping back as he opened the door more so Namine could get in. But before she did, he looked down at Jazzy, who was sniffing at Namine's dress. He whistled and caught her attention, and she instantly went back inside the house; she was properly trained after having for the last few months. Riku lifted his eyes to Namine then, motioning for her to go inside as well.

"Thanks," Namine said with a weak smile, glancing at Riku before she gripped her dress again and started into the house. She stopped by the other side of the small entrance hall, not sure where to go. She knew where the living room was, but Namine didn't want to bother Riku's parents if they were in there.

Riku shut the door and turned to see Namine lingering. "Let's go ahead and go to the kitchen," he suggested. He then started walking, smiling faintly at the girl. "This way." He would lead. It was just down the hall anyway.

"Mm," Namine hummed, nodding faintly in recognition to Riku's words. Once he was in front of her, she started after him, hearing her heels click on the floor before it turned to carpet. She was glad she put them back on when she was off the beach; carrying them was a hassle.

Riku walked down the hall and turned into a doorway, his socked feet meeting the tile floor of the kitchen. "Go ahead and have a seat," he told Namine softly, motioning to one of the barstools at the counter as he headed for the fridge.

Namine smiled weakly at Riku in gratitude, doing as he said. She started over and pulled up her dress a little more as she got onto the higher seat. She wished she would have at least stopped at home to get changed first, but that was in the past now. She had to start thinking about what to say.

Riku grabbed a water for himself and for Namine, just in case, before shutting the refrigerator door. He started to the counter she was sitting at, though he would be on the opposite side. "I wish you would have warned me you were gonna be dressed like that," he said. "I would have altered my appearance a little so you wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb." He was in sweats and a tank to lounge around in for the rest of the night; he hadn't expected visitors this late.

Namine couldn't help but smile at Riku's humor, again realizing that she should have changed. "But since it's just the two of us, we could say that you're the one sticking out," she pointed out. They were really opposites right now, not that it really mattered. Namine wasn't hear to deal with anything about their appearances.

Riku shrugged a little as he stopped in front of the girl, putting her water in front of her from his place across the counter. "Fair enough," he complied. She made sense, so he was just going to leave it at that.

Namine hummed, reaching forward and grabbing the extra water. She pulled it closer but didn't open it up, her smile fading some as she felt the conversation stall. She still didn't know how to word everything...

"...So what's up?" Riku asked after a second's silence, twisting the cap off his water. He then brought it to his lips to take a drink, his eyes on Namine.

Namine released the water, folding her hands on the counter in front of her and looking down at them. "I know you see things that other people don't see," she started. "And so, I was wondering...Have you noticed Roxas acting strangely lately?"

Riku lowered the water after getting a drink, twisting the cap back on as he thought about it. "Guess I have," he answered after a few seconds. He was actually a little surprised at how random the question was, but he was going to be honest anyway.

Namine looked up at Riku, elaborating on her own feelings so he could know why she was bringing him up. "He's been different...Quieter, and more serious. It's been that way for a while, but..." But what could have sparked the change? He had been this way as long as she could remember.

Riku looked at Namine with a serious expression, getting the message. He'd noticed the same, since Roxas usually acted just like Sora a lot of the time, especially around the girls. But... "He seemed alright tonight," he mentioned. "But he may have been putting on another charade."

"It sure seemed like it," Namine said softly in reference to the charade, looking down at her hands again. "I tried talking to him about things after the dance, but he wouldn't say anything. He walked off and said the conversation was over, even before it started." It was really unlike him. If he had really been having fun, he wouldn't have been so on edge, right?
