Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku tore his eyes away from Namine and left the room in silence, going up the stairs to grab a t-shirt and pair of shorts for Namine to wear for the night. They would be big, but they would be more comfortable than her dress.

Once Namine was situated, she immediately went to rest on the couch. Riku gave her privacy and the lights were turned out in the room so that she could sleep. Despite her raging thoughts and emotions, she fell asleep instantly, unconsciousness welcoming her into sleep.

The next monring...

Riku was up early the next morning, as usual. His parents were already gone for the day, but they didn't react negatively to Namine's appearance in the bedroom. They liked her, so it was okay; they were used to people crashing anyway. Riku was dialing Kairi's number now as he gazed at Namine on the couch from his position in the doorway, planning to ask Kairi to bring Namine some fresh clothes. She couldn't exactly go home in her dress or his clothes.

Namine remained asleep on the couch, unaware of the time or another presence in the room. Her sleep wasn't really good, but at least she hadn't woken up in the middle of the night because of a nightmare. She was just uneasy and tossing and turning a lot because of all the things going on in her heart.
"Hey, Kairi," Riku said softly into the phone, his eyes still on the girl in the room. "Namine's over here; she stayed over last night." He listened to his best friend confess how relieved she was, but then she asked why. Riku explained, but then got to the matter at hand. "Is there any way you can bring some clothes over for her? ...Great, thanks. See you in a bit."

Namine pulled the blanket a little closer to her chin in her sleep, also snuggling her head against the pillow as a soft sigh left her lips. She felt like she could stay asleep forever just to avoid reality, but of course, logic told her that this was impossible. She had to wake up sometime...

Since Kairi didn't live too far away to begin with, she was over in only a few minutes. Riku opened the door at the soft knock, only to be greeted by Kairi's worried blue eyes. "She's in the living room," he said, letting her come in.

Kairi nodded in silence, holding a bag full of clothes as well as a toothbrush and hairbrush for Namine to use so she could properly dress herself when she woke up. Her eyes immediately went to the doorway that led to the living room, where she saw Namine sleeping on the couch. Thank goodness she hadn't actually disappeared; Kairi had been worried.

Namine felt herself start to wake up around the time that Kairi arrived, the sun shining in the room not helping her stay asleep. She forced her tired blue eyes open, blinking a few times as she looked at the living room in front of her. That's right...She was in Riku's house. She set her hands on the couch and pushed herself up a little bit, on her side.
Kairi walked into the living room with her bag slung over her shoulder, her eyes on Namine still as she sat up. "...Namine?" she called softly. Even if she just woke up, Kairi knew that Namine wouldn't look her best. She just found out the awful news from a few weeks ago. Kairi didn't expect her to be.

Namine sat herself up fully, though she had to blink to wake up more when she recognized a voice. She turned her head and saw her best friend in the room, her gaze locked on her. "Kairi?" she said tiredly. What was she doing here?
Kairi smiled weakly and started over to her best friend, glancing back at Riku who lingered in the doorway. She nodded to him, thanking him silently for letting her know Namine was here.

Namine glanced in the direction Kairi nodded to, seeing Riku standing there. But she looked back to her best friend a moment after that. "What are you doing here?" she asked softly, trying to shake off her sleepiness. Kairi wasn't supposed to be here, in Riku's house.
Kairi looked back to Namine and sat down beside her on the couch, setting her bag down on the ground. "Riku called me so I could bring you some clothes, but I brought a few other things in case you wanted to freshen up," she explained softly.

Namine tucked back some of her blonde hair, understanding where Kairi was coming from. "Thanks," she said softly. But, did this mean that Kairi knew about what happened last night with her discovering the truth?
"Sure," Kairi replied with the same small smile. She rested her hands against her legs as she let her gaze drop from Namine to the bag she brought. She was in no hurry to leave; Namine could take her time getting up and moving.

Namine didn't need an answer to her silent question; Kairi's eyes answered it. She knew. Namine exhaled a soft breath and looked down to the back, the girl reaching for it. "I'm going to get changed now," she said softly to Kairi. "I just want to go home." She didn't know what she would do once she got there, but she'd figure it out.
"Alright," Kairi said softly, nodding as she looked over at Namine. She was sure her friend knew to take her time. There wasn't any rush.

Namine gripped the bag and then started walking, glancing at Riku in the doorway before she went past him. She wasn't going to take long getting ready; as much as she appreciated Riku's hospitality, it was time for her to go home.
Riku glanced at Namine while she passed, but then his eyes went to Kairi. The redhead simply looked at him sadly, like he expected. He had a feeling that a certain somebody needed a talking to, and soon. Namine couldn't handle any more than she was tackling now.

Namine made herself presentable in a reasonable amount of time, the blonde having her hair back in a ponytail. There were still some curls in it, even after she brushed it. Regardless, she straightened her purple quarter-sleeved shirt and jeans before she walked out of the bathroom and rejoined Kairi and Riku in the living room. She stopped in the doorway to look at the two of them on the couch, her expression seeming to say it all. She was ready to go.
Kairi patted Riku on the knee at the sight of Namine. "Thanks for calling me," she said softly. When Riku nodded, she pushed herself up from the couch and started over toward her best friend. Things were going to be different from here on out, but Kairi would help Namine cope. The girl was practically her sister.

Namine looked to Riku on the couch, seeing that he wasn't getting up. "Bye, Riku," she said quietly. She also wanted to thank him for being with her last night and telling her the truth, but she couldn't find the words. She couldn't talk about any of that without getting choked up.
Riku smiled weakly and waved with his hand. He hoped Namine felt better soon, but he highly doubted that was possible at this rate.

Namine forced a weak smile in return before she turned around and exited Riku's house, the bag with her toothbrush and other supplies wrapped around her wrist. Surely it would be a quiet walk back with Kairi, but that was alright. It was better than talking.
Kairi shut the door quietly behind her before following Namine, though she caught up with her in a few steps. She glanced at her as they started back home, but didn't do anything more than that once her gaze focused forward. Namine was in shock, so she wasn't about to make it worse.
