Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku saw Ventus's smile and automatically looked at his unconscious best friend. That was exactly what he would do--put on a happy face even in the worst of trials. "...Right," Riku replied quietly, staring at Sora. It was time to go.

Aqua heard Riku's tone and her eyes softened in sadness. He was having a tough time with this, she could easily tell. But the faster they got moving, the faster they got to Sora's heart. Riku had to have faith; it was very important right now.

Ven silently nodded, his smile fading at Riku's obvious sadness. Regardless of that, he would stay optimistic. He shifted his gaze to Aqua, figuring that she would lead the way out of here. Ventus didn't recognize this place at all...It looked nothing like his home, and that made him feel a little sad. But he couldn't dwell on that; he had to think positive.

Aqua caught Ven's gaze and she held it for a second before looking back at Riku. "We shouldn't leave Sora here. Master Xehanort may already know the Chamber of Waking exists," she stated. With his strange ability to know all things happening in the worlds, he probably knew where they were and why they were here.

Riku nodded, not shifting his eyes away from Sora. "I'll take him home," he said softly. "It's where he belongs anyway." He waited a second before finally pushing himself up from the floor, getting ready to pick Sora up again.

Ventus took a moment to look around this place, recognizing it vaguely only because of how he had been here with Sora. But he didn't feel the need to explore right now, or ever. This place had a strange aura.
Aqua watched in silence as Riku picked Sora up carefully from the floor. Once he had a good hold on him, Riku nodded to her, in which she responded by looking to Ven. "This way," she said with a small motion of her head, starting in the direction out of the castle. She didn't bother locking the Chamber; Xehanort already knew where it was, she was sure.

Ven hummed slightly, following after Aqua. It was time to leave this place. And now it was time to go to Destiny Islands, where Sora would hopefully be alright for a little while. He, Aqua, and Riku would have to look for Sora's heart, but they also had other pressing matters to attend to like Terra and Xehanort.

A little while later...

Riku had Sora in his arms again, carrying him across the beach. He was on the side of the island that was visible from the mainland, and he knew Kairi had to be around. There wasn't a day she wasn't here, though he wished that today was an exception.

Ventus gave Riku some space, walking beside Aqua at a slightly slower pace. He remembered this place from his own memories; this was the place that Terra sent him when he fought Master Eraqus. Why did he choose this world to send me to? Ven wondered curiously. Was it because this was a safe world?

Kairi stood on the dock, silently standing there and not really looking at anything. Ever since Sora's heart found her, she hadn't really been the same. It wasn't necessarily because he was within her, safe. Instead it was because she knew that he was gone...in a way that was close enough to death. It was heartbreaking.

Aqua walked beside Ven, though her eyes were focused on Riku as he passed under the bridge. When she looked past him, she saw Kairi, and she knew what was about to unfold. She and Ven would have to give them space for this; it would be hard.

Ventus slowed his steps when he and Aqua were past the bridge and by the shack, the boy knowing that Riku was going to take Sora to Kairi. He was going to stay back here by the shack and wait for Riku to take care of things; in the mean time, he would try to think of a way to save Terra.

Riku glanced down at Sora as he walked, closer to the dock his other friend was standing on. He lifted his eyes to her, and noticing that she didn't see him, called to her. "Kairi," he said, his voice weaker than normal. When she looked over, she would see why.

Kairi turned her head at the call, her glazed eyes focusing when she saw Riku...and who he was carrying. She felt her heart squeeze and her blank expression twist into one of sorrow. Sora... You really are gone...

  • Author
Ventus leaned his back against the shack, Aqua nearby. He knew that Terra was still alive...somehow. He had shown up and protected Sora at the Keyblade Graveyard, after all. He hadn't known that until Aqua told him, since by that time his heart was already returning to him. He was so relieved Terra was still alive...and Aqua, too. He would have been lost without the two of them.

Riku saw Kairi's expression, which immediately made his eyes soften with sorrow. He knew this was going to be bad... There was no good in this at all.

Kairi felt her tears returning at the sight of Sora's body, knowing the heart that used to be within it was now inside her. She turned around and quickly ran across the dock and down the steps, moving toward Riku.

  • Author
But Xehanort has Terra's body, Ventus thought, eyebrows furrowed slightly in concentration. So it seemed to him like they could only defeat Xehanort to give Terra his body back. But would that even work...?

Riku stopped walking when he saw Kairi approaching, and he knelt down a little. He gently set Sora's body on the sand, pulling his arms back once he was safely on the ground. Kairi ran over then, getting down on her knees on the other side of Sora. "Kairi... I'm sorry," Riku said quietly, glancing up at her before his eyes fell back on Sora.

Kairi looked through her teary eyes down at the boy she loved, hearing Riku's apology. She knew just by the sound of his voice that he felt awful, and that feeling had to be mutual among a few people. She wordlessly lifted a hand and lightly brushed Sora's hair back and away from his face. "Sora..."

  • Author
Whether it works or not, Xehanort still needs to be defeated, Ven thought, staring down at the ground. He knew what the Keyblade Master wanted, and he couldn't be allowed to get his hands on the X-blade. He had almost done it before, and that was far too close for comfort.
Kairi didn't get a response, so she silently stared at Sora's still face, her hand resting in his chocolate spikes. His body hadn't faded to Darkness, and she wasn't sure why. Even so, it was still hard to see him...actually see him like this.
  • Author
Could they even beat Xehanort? Ventus hadn't fought for a long time, so he was probably a little rusty in battle. And the same went for Aqua, didn't it? Since she was trapped in the Realm of Darkness for a while? And he had no idea how well Terra could fight...Did they have a chance to win this battle?

"Kairi," Riku started, looking up at her. "I know you counted on me to have Sora's back, but..." There was no excuse; he should have had his back. "I should've been there. And, because I wasn't, Sora's heart was--"

"It's okay, Riku," Kairi said, lifting her eyes to him. "I already know." The conversation she had with Sora's heart when it first arrived was awful, but it provided her with the information she needed to understand.

  • Author
Well, whether they were ready or not, they needed to face Xehanort. He was a threat, and he would disturb the worlds if they didn't come to him and fight. That was how wicked Master Xehanort was. Ventus knew better than most, since his former Master had put him through so much with Vanitas.

Riku's eyebrows furrowed, the boy confused. "You do? But how?" he asked. Nobody around here knew about what happened other than him, Aqua, Ventus, Terra, and Master Xehanort. How could Kairi have possibly gotten that kind of information?

Kairi smiled weakly, her eyes no longer as watery as they had been before. "Sora," she answered softly. She recognized the look Riku was giving her now, so she explained. "He's...within me now," she said, looking down at her chest as she brought a hand over where his heart was. "He's safe."

  • Author
Ventus shut his eyes, folding his arms over his chest. And then there was still the matter of retrieving Sora's heart. That would be a hard search; he had no clue where to start. He was optimistic that they would find it eventually, but he would like to find it sooner than later.

Riku gasped, eyes widening considerably. "He's...Sora's heart found you?" he asked in shock. Was it really true? Kairi would never lie about that, would she?

Kairi lifted her eyes to Riku and silently nodded. That would be a horrible thing to joke about; she would never do something like that.

Aqua silently watched Riku and Kairi interact from where she stood. But, something seemed...off. She couldn't see Riku's face for confirmation, but she could see Kairi's. She looked...relieved. But why?

  • Author
Maybe Riku or Kairi would have a better idea on where to look. In the mean time, Ventus would focus on Terra. This was all so complicated...how was he supposed to help him? Terra had always been the one helping him in the past; how did he return the favor when he had no clue on what to do?
Riku felt a wave of relief wash over him at Kairi's response, and he looked down at Sora naturally. So...Sora was okay! This was such great news...
