Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"I won't do her any good!" Roxas hollered right back. "Don't you get it?! I'm a curse!" He finally realized it now. Every time things were good, something bad happened because of him.

"Roxas, you saved her from the Darkness. That was the curse!" Sora said, stepping forward a step even though there was still a distance between him and Roxas. "How could you say you don't do her any good? Don't you see how she smiles around you?!"
"Those smiles are only temporary," Roxas snapped. "Tears end up taking their place. That's not something I want to keep pushing on her!" He didn't want to make Namine cry, ever. He broke that promise a long time ago, and it hadn't even stopped. The only way he saw to make it end was to stay away from her for good.

"Yeah, because it's so much better that she's crying twenty-four seven now," Sora said sarcastically. "You gave her hope, Roxas! And then you snatched it away because you don't want to hurt her. That makes perfect sense." His voice was dripping with even more sarcasm now, his blue eyes locked on Roxas's.
"It makes perfect sense to me," Roxas said, his tone still cold from his anger. "If I'm not around to cause trouble, she won't cry anymore. She's strong; she'll be okay." He, on the other hand, wouldn't be. Roxas started forward, pushing past Sora so he could leave. End of discussion; he wasn't listening to any more of this.

Sora followed close behind Roxas, not willing to let him walk away. "What good is that if it doesn't make sense to Namine?" he asked in response. "You want her to be clueless forever? She'll never recover if she doesn't understand. And you created more than trouble: You gave her life. Literally!" he hollered. Why couldn't Roxas see how beneficial that was for Namine?
"You're right," Roxas said over his shoulder. "I did give her life, and I won't be taking it away again." He kept walking, starting across the bridge. Namine had her life back, and yeah, he was the one that brought her back. But his lack of protection also caused her death. He wasn't going to make that mistake again.

"You already are," Sora declared tensely, still right on Roxas's heels. He was taking her life away by ignoring her like this and treating her like she didn't exist. She was absolutely miserable.
"Namine doesn't want to see me. I'm granting her wish," Roxas said. Noticing that Sora wasn't backing off, he jumped off the bridge and landed on his feet below. He was leaving. Listening to this was pointless.

Sora furrowed his eyebrows when Roxas jumped off, and he knew that he was going to have to keep him there to talk. He jumped down himself with hands out, grabbing Roxas's shoulders and tackling him. "You're not leaving," he said lowly, on top of his best friend.
Roxas grunted when he was tackled, his body hitting the sand. He groaned under Sora's weight and struggled to shake him off. "Get off of me!" he hollered.
  • Author
"Not until you start actually listening to me!" Sora said, keeping Roxas on the ground. Roxas was being so hard-headed! Sora was getting annoyed. Was he really as stubborn as his Nobody was?
"I am listening!" Roxas cried, trying to roll over to get Sora off of him. "And you're wrong, about everything!" Roxas knew Namine was hurting, but it was his fault! Couldn't Sora see that even if he did go make things right, they would only fall apart again?
  • Author
Sora was thrown off Roxas a little, but he still managed to keep a grip on him. "Then tell me how I'm wrong!" he yelled down at Roxas. This was what he wanted to hear.
Roxas grunted a little more, but answered. "Because everytime I make things right, they end up falling apart!" he yelled, strain in his voice. Couldn't Sora just understand?!
  • Author
"How can you possibly blame yourself for any of that?!" Sora said in disbelief. "That's life. Bad things happen. You fight and overcome it. Why aren't you fighting back against life?! You're letting the pain separate you from somebody you love!"
"Tell me how many times you've made Kairi suffer!" Roxas roared, looking up at Sora. He wouldn't be able to answer, because Sora hardly ever did that. He had nothing on Roxas.
  • Author
"Too often for my tastes," Sora said lowly, looking at Roxas. "And you know what you do when you make a loved one suffer? You fix it. Stop making excuses! You can't possibly make things worse than they already are." This was getting ridiculous.
That was it. Roxas summoned his black Keyblade to his hand and then held it up to Sora's throat. "You wanna bet?" he spat coldly. There were plenty things he could do; he was quite good at it anyway.
  • Author
Sora's eyes narrowed at the Keyblade at his throat, but he didn't feel scared. Roxas wouldn't kill him. "As a matter of fact, I would," he said coolly, keeping Roxas underneath him. Roxas didn't know just how bad Namine was; she honestly couldn't be worse off than she already was.
"Get off of me," Roxas said slowly, his voice holding rage as he threatened his best friend. He poked the tip of Oblivion against Sora's neck, emphasizing it. Sora was making this worse, a lot worse.
  • Author
Sora grunted when the tip of the weapon touched his throat, but he didn't move. "You just don't get it, do you?" he asked, glaring down at Roxas. "She's already at her lowest point. Even if you screw up again, you can't hurt her worse than you already are."
"Then what's the point in going back?" Roxas said lowly. If he already broke Namine, there was obviously no point in trying to mend her heart again. He would only break it at the seams. Just like he had already done. Sora already confirmed it.
  • Author
"Because you can fix it, you idiot!" Sora said, his grip on Roxas loosening a little bit in fury. He wasn't listening to a word he was saying! Roxas hurt her, but he had the power to set things right!
"No I can't!" Roxas hollered. He took advantage of Sora's loosened grip and put both hands against the blade of Oblivion, shoving the side of it against Sora to get him off.
