Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora had his feet set, his Keyblade horizontally turned as he absorbed the attacks. I've gotten smarter since The World That Never Was, Roxas, he thought, recalling how this attack nearly ended him. He cast Fire again, which would force Roxas to back off.
Roxas cried out in pain, staggering back a few steps as the burns went away. He glared at Sora from his spot, knowing that he would have to pull a new move. That was fine with him.

Sora knew he had to stay on the offensive, so that was what he would do. He stepped forward and swung his Keyblade at Roxas again, a grunt leaving his lips with the swing. He was unaware of his other friends close-by, focused on Roxas.

Roxas slunk out of the way, moving quickly along the ground. He came up behind Sora and jumped into the air, swinging his Keyblades vertically as they spun him around twice in the air. A grunt left him as he performed the move, hoping to strike Sora.

Riku saw what was happening, and he panted heavily as he rushed forward. "Stop!" he cried.

Sora heard Riku's cry and sensed the threat behind him, but he couldn't react quickly enough. His attempt to cast a shield failed, a loud cry of pain leaving his lips when Roxas hit him roughly.

Roxas landed crouched on the ground, and a part of him was glad to hear that his attack was successful. He lifted his infuriated blue eyes to Sora, ignoring Riku's call.

"Terra!" Riku called, making his way to Sora. Roxas wasn't going to stop!

Sora ignored the intense pain and spun around, swinging his Keyblade at Roxas. But the blond was already out of the reach of his Keyblade, Terra having just then grabbed Roxas's arms and dragged him back before either of them realized there would be an intervention.

Roxas's eyes widened and he looked over his shoulder up at Terra. "Hey!" he cried angrily, his Keyblades still in his grasp as he struggled to get away.

Riku wrapped his arms around Sora then, securing him so he wouldn't go anywhere. Enough was enough!

"Fight's over," Terra said with a grunt, firmly gripping Roxas's arms despite his struggling. This fight wasn't accomplishing anything for either of them anyway except giving them physical injuries.

Sora hissed in pain, Riku's contact to his back causing him immense pain. What was he thinking?! He wasn't a part of this fight!

Roxas lowered his sights to Sora just across from him, still struggling. "Lemme go!" he cried, the fury in his eyes still there as he glared at his Somebody. He was already over the edge; there was no way to bring him back.

"Both of you, calm down," Aqua said, looking at each of them from her spot. This was ridiculous. What were they thinking?

Sora still glared at Roxas, though he didn't bother trying to get out of Riku's grasp. It was impossible; he couldn't swing his Keyblade and get out of this even if he wanted to. And of course, he wasn't mad enough to want to hurt Riku.
Roxas ignored Aqua, squeezing his eyes shut and grunting as he tried to pull away from Terra. "I said, let me go!" he roared. Was that so hard to understand?!

Terra kept a firm grip on Roxas despite the struggling, not even close to having to release the team. "Roxas, calm down," he said lowly in the teen's ear. "You're not leaving till this is resolved." They needed to know what caused this intense fight.
Roxas opened his eyes as he took in a breath, looking at the ground. But the tips of his blades in his sight started to blur, the tears returning as his adrenaline started to fade.

Sora exhaled a heavy breath, head lowered and eyebrows furrowed over his closed eyes. That had gotten out of hand. He was certainly going to feel that in the morning...But he had enough magic left for a Cure spell. Still, he knew that he wouldn't heal his own wounds. He called upon the last of his magic and the healing leaves appeared over Roxas's head instead of his.
Roxas squeezed his eyes shut when he felt the cure spell, shaking his head in fury. "Don't do that!" he hollered at Sora, his voice thicker than normal with emotion. He knew it was him! They just fought and he was healing him? That was stupid!

Sora lifted his head, eyebrows furrowed as he looked at Roxas. Too late now; the spell was cast. And why would Roxas protest to having his wounds taken care of?
Roxas lowered his head, his arms going limp as Terra held onto them. He sucked in a shaky breath, feeling the water welling behind his closed eyes. He couldn't do this anymore...

Sora turned to look over his shoulder, Riku still gripping him. He summoned his Keyblade away then, speaking right after. "Let me go," he said softly. The fight was over. And now he had to speak to his best friend, since it seemed like he changed after the fight.
Riku looked down at Sora, and he knew that his friend was being sincere. He took his arms back, taking a step over to the side after releasing Sora.

Sora started forward then, wincing at his own wounds. But he caught Terra's eye, and the man seemed to understand what he was saying. He released Roxas even though he had his Keyblades, also stepping back away. Sora stepped up right in front of him, not saying anything but feeling sad that Roxas's emotions were apparently catching up with him.
Roxas's arms fell to his sides, his Keyblades angled downward because of his loose grip on them. His eyes remained closed, though he did sense a presence in front of him. He didn't care, his thoughts wrapped around Namine and all the trouble he caused. It made a tear trickle at the corner of his eye, the boy feeling deep sorrow instead of anger.

"...She's on the other side of the island, if you want to see her," Sora said softly, knowing what Roxas was thinking of. Namine had a habit of sitting alone on the emptiest beach on the mainland and drawing most days; Roxas would be able to find her there.
Roxas shook his head, releasing his blades. They faded away before they met the ground. "...I can't," he said thickly, opening his water eyes to gaze at the ground. He couldn't see her...not like this.
  • Author
"She doesn't need you to be strong," Sora stated softly. "She needs you to be open with her. That's all." From there, everything would fall into place naturally. They would make up, and things would be alright.
