Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"...She already knows the truth," Roxas said, a tear sliding down his cheek. "Namine doesn't need to hear it from me." His voice showed that he was different now, that the rage was gone. Instead, he was weaker, more vulnerable. He didn't mean to do it in front of everyone, but...it was too much.

"But she needs to know that you're with her," Sora pointed out gently. She couldn't face this alone. She may have had all her friends support behind her, but that was nothing compared to the kind of support Roxas could provide. He was her savior, after all. First Namine found out Roxas saved her life, and then he left her...She was heartbroken.
Roxas took in a shaky breath, but his body jerked with a rough sob. Namine... He wasn't sure what to do. She said she didn't want to see him when he was like this, darker. He scared her.

Sora noticed Roxas wasn't doing well at all, which made his eyes soften further. "You need to see her," he said quietly. Even if he was a wreck, he needed to go see her. She was a wreck too, so it was alright.

Aqua approached the two boys in silence, witnessing Roxas shake his head as he ran his hand over his eyes, but it didn't really help. "Roxas," she said, looking down at the boy as she stood next to Sora. "Namine misses you, and you miss her. Don't you?"

Roxas nodded as he closed his eyes. Of course he missed her; he thought about her every day, from dusk until dawn. How couldn't he?

  • Author
"That's all that's important," Sora said with a faint nod, understanding what Aqua's point was. They both wanted to set things right, but like Sora had told Roxas earlier, Namine wasn't going to step forward and do anything. He had to do something.
"But..." Roxas started softly, sniffling a little because his voice shook. "What if it isn't enough?" Just because you missed someone... It didn't mean that all of your problems went away when you were reunited. It never worked that way.

"It'll open the door so you can start setting things right," Sora said, folding his arms over his chest to try and fight against the pain he was still feeling from the fight. Neither of them would turn away from each other when they were so miserable for one another.
Roxas lifted his hands to his hair, getting aggravated again at Sora's words. He walked a few paces away, his back to them. "Don't you get it?" he said weakly, the tears still in his eyes as he stared at nothing. "I'll mess everything up again... It's always me."
  • Author
"So you'd rather not try at all and stay miserable? There's hope that things will really be alright after this one, Roxas..." Sora said, his words not harsh like they had been in the conversation before. He had just been mean before to force Roxas to face the situation, and now that he was, Sora wasn't going to be cruel or harsh.
Roxas's hands fell to his sides. "Namine's stronger than me... She always has been," he said. Throughout Smith and that jerk back in New York, she was the strongest of everyone. Roxas was weak, and because of that, he was crumbling now. "But if she ever falls...I'll be too weak to catch her."
  • Author
"You both find your strength from each other," Sora said softly, walking forward a few steps and setting a hand on Roxas's shoulder. "So if she does fall, at least you'll be able to help her back up." But of course, Sora believed Roxas was more capable of helping Namine than he realized.

Roxas just shook his head, not knowing what to do. What could he do? What would even happen once he and Namine were face to face?

Riku glanced at Terra and Aqua, wondering if one of them should say something. Roxas was finding it hard to believe anyone, but what could be the one thing that somebody could say that could really get the point across?

  • Author
Sora knew one thing that nobody else in this group did, and he would use it to hopefully give Roxas a break through. "You're her guardian angel," he said, softly enough that only Roxas would hear it. "She says so herself. She needs you to be that guardian again, Roxas. Go." She was waiting for him.
Roxas blinked at that, his watery eyes widening slightly. Guardian? She still believed that was him? "...The other side of the island?" he asked hoarsely, turning his head to look at Sora.
  • Author
"Mm," Sora hummed with a nod, patting Roxas's shoulder before removing his hand completely. He was pretty sure she was over there; she tried to avoid the populated side of the island after a few negative run-ins she had with Roxas. But that wasn't important now.
Roxas nodded once and summoned his blade to his hand. "...Thanks," he said softly. "And sorry." He walked a few feet forward then and tossed his Keyblade up so it could transform into his glider; walking would take too long.
  • Author
Sora didn't get a chance to respond since Roxas was already on the move. He moved a few more steps away and over to the side, not wanting to get hit by the glider when it came down. He was sorry too; maybe he had been too rough on him earlier.
Roxas saw his glider coming down and he jumped up, balancing on it before he steered it off like a skateboard. He soared over trees as he went higher, making sure to stay on the edge of the island so his glider wouldn't be seen by natives.
  • Author
Sora watched Roxas fly off for a few moments before what was left of his armor faded away. That took some weight off of his wounds, even if he was still hurting pretty badly. Oh well, he would deal.
Roxas steered around the island, his glider mostly silent as he looked for Namine. He wasn't completely composed, but Sora said that was okay; niether of them were. He descended toward the beach quietly, hoping Namine was somewhere around here.

Namine lightly erased a mark in her sketchpad, the girl sitting on the beach where she had spent a lot of time the past few days. She was currently drawing Riku's dog Jasmine, who was laying in front of her and sleeping. The picture was almost done, and once it was, she would gently change the dog's position so she could draw more and not go home, where she was always reminded of what happened. She hated her bedroom now; she had actually been sleeping on the couch instead of being in the room where she...passed.
Roxas lowered his glider to just above the ground before he hopped off and it disappeared into his Keyblade. He summoned it away, though, believing he wouldn't need it. He walked along the sand and between a few palm trees, his eyes searching for Namine.
  • Author
Namine chased away those thoughts, looking up a little bit to see Jazzy right in front of her. She looked at the detail of the dog's face before she went back to drawing, unaware of whether or not there was another person in the area.
Roxas still had his beaten armor on, not that he cared. Namine wouldn't care...would she? He continued walking along the beach, and after a minute, he thought he saw her...up ahead.
