Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Namine finished up with some last touches before she smoothed out the paper one last time. It was a good drawing, but now it was done. She exhaled a soft breath and set down the pad and pencil in the sand beside her, the girl gently reaching forward to turn Jazzy onto her side. But unfortunately for her, the dog woke up with the touch. Jasmine stood up and looked right at Namine, wagging her tail and barking a few times in greeting.
Roxas walked a little further but stopped next to a palm tree nearby. This part of the island was deserted, and just on the other side of the beach, which wasn't very far, was a waterfall. Now he understood why Namine came over here, but...looking at her hurt. After all Roxas had done to her...the boy didn't know how he could face her.

Namine saw Jazzy's eyes move to another place on the beach, but Namine didn't have time to turn around and see for herself what the dog was looking at. Jasmine barked once in pleasure before she ran off in that direction, making Namine gasp in surprise. "Jasmine!" she called, turning around a little in the sand to look. She saw the dog run not to a squirrel, but to a person. Roxas.
Roxas's eyes widened and when he saw Jasmine running over to him, he shook his head. No, don't come over here! he begged, but it was too late. The puppy approached him as he stood in his armor, and he took a step back, lifting his eyes to the girl that called out to the dog. Namine.

Namine's eyes were locked on Roxas's face, though she did blankly realize that he was in battered armor. This was the first time he looked at her in a week. It was the first time that he didn't turn away and leave the moment he saw her. He was here.
Even from afar, Roxas saw all the emotions present on Namine's face, and they instantly made his heart ache. He blinked, knowing that his own tears were about to return. Namine... What have I done to you?

Namine just sat there, ignoring Jasmine who ran back to her and laid down by her hand in the sand. She didn't want to approach him...She felt like if she did that, he would walk away. She was afraid that anything she did would cause him to leave her again.
Roxas took a small step forward but then stopped. What was he even going to say? Hi? That would be pathetic... He looked down at the ground, lifting his hand to his head. Oh no...

Namine kept her gaze on Roxas even after he stopped and wasn't looking, the blonde holding her breath. He had taken a step closer, then stopped. What did that mean? Did he...want to speak with her? She felt moisture appear in her eyes, fearing that he would go away again.
Roxas glanced up from the ground, finding Namine again. His eyes welled up with tears instantly at the look on her face. He already did it again, didn't he? He hurt her by just being here...didn't he? But, didn't Sora say that it was best he saw her? What if it wasn't?
  • Author
Come here, please, Namine thought, hoping that Roxas would get that message as long as she kept her eyes on him. She didn't dare look away, not wanting him to leave her all alone again. She needed him...badly.
Roxas blinked at the moisture taking over his eyes as he took another step closer, trying to clear his sight so he could see Namine. But it wasn't working. Namine...

Namine noticed Roxas gradually getting closer, and that was when she noticed his eyes. They were...moist. More than most; it looked as if he could burst into tears. Namine swallowed the lump in her throat, willing her own tears to stay in. Roxas...
Roxas didn't make himself stop walking, continuing forward as he fought against the tears in his eyes and the sadness threatening to spill from inside. He stopped a few yards away, just looking at the person he'd missed over the last week, the one who said she was...scared of him.
  • Author
No...Don't stop walking...Namine thought, seeing him just staring at her. She was staring back, even if they hadn't said a word to each other. Did she need to walk the rest of the way to him? She pushed herself up to her feet without looking away from Roxas or bothering to wipe the sand off her pants.
Roxas didn't know what to do now; he couldn't really move anymore. Namine was right in front of him, and she looked miserable. And it was his fault... The boy closed his eyes, lowering his head as he fought the urge to cry right there.
  • Author
...I really hope he doesn't push me away, Namine thought. She ran the small distance between them and embraced him, her arms going around his lower back. She wanted to cry just because she was so happy he was there, but she felt like he would misinterpret the tears.
Roxas just stood there, watery eyes now open to look down at Namine in surprise. What was she doing?
  • Author
Namine couldn't help but start crying now, though it was out of both happiness and sadness. Roxas was here...but he wasn't holding her back. She turned her head and let it rest in his neck, silent tears leaving her. He didn't want to be with her anymore, did he? It made sense; she went behind his back to find out what happened and then turned him away when he wanted to talk about it.
Roxas felt Namine's tears in his neck and he bit his lip to keep it from trembling. But it was no use. He released a shaky sob, tears leaving his eyes. Namine...
  • Author
Namine thought she heard a sob from Roxas, but she wasn't sure if it was in her imagination or not. She stayed where she was and cried softly, an emotional wreck.
Roxas wrapped his arms around Namine then, another sob leaving him as he cried. Tears leaked from his eyes and trailed down his cheeks, the boy not knowing what to do... What was going to happen to them now? He wasn't going to ruin her again, was he?
  • Author
Namine felt Roxas's arms go around her then, and it was at that moment that she realized he was crying too. That made her cry a little harder, because no matter what, she hated it when he was sad. And he never cried in front of her, so this meant that he was really miserable.
Roxas lifted one of his hands to Namine's hair as he lowered his head, crying like a pathetic fool. Boys weren't supposed to cry...but he was weak. He had to; everything was just too much for him to handle now.
  • Author
Namine cried for a while, just like she had been doing for the whole week. She always thought she ran out of tears, but they always reappeared somehow. She just...didn't know what to say. She was so sad, and so scared. She regained her life thanks to Roxas, but it would have been worthless to live without him in it. That was why she was so devastated the last week when he treated her like dirt and didn't talk to her or even look at her.
